Then I was told the provider, Karen M, wasn't there. I was crying at this point because this is a 2 1/2 year claim. Another woman came out and said, "the VA canceled it". She asked if I wanted her to contact the owner. I said yes, sat down and called a friend because I was upset. Next thing I know a male cop comes in. I got off the phone then he comes over- stands over me- wants to know what was going on. i asked him to back up. I wasn't threatening anyone, didn't threaten myself, I was crying. That's it. He wouldn't. I was traumatized enough from the military. I didn't want to have to talk to a stranger about what happened. The request was for a female provider for a reason. Now a Plymouth police MAN is asking me what happened and standing OVER ME. Then a second MALE Officer comes in. I leave, they stand there banging on my car window. it got worse- I got home and a MALE Canton cop was at my door waiting for me. Karalee & Associates are HORRIBLE. I called the VA ---- they did NOT cancel the exam, but now I run the risk of losing my claim because Karalee (contracted by Optum Serve) didn't see me. These counselors should know how to NOT escalate a situation. They certainly should not be seeing Veterans.

Rather than reach out to me on my phone personally, they mailed me a bill. I called numerous times and left multiple messages to billing trying to take care of the issue. Come to find out they sent to collections and a law firm reaches out to me and it was two bills, another they were billing to our super old address. (Which is strange, they know I moved hence the one bill being sent to my current address) The insurance she switched to may have actually been able to cover the bill but because they waited YEARS to notify me that insurance didnt pick these bills up, it is now too late to bill out insurance. They are unprofessional and didn't even help my daughter if anything made her worse. They prey on already vulnerable individuals going through a hard time to try to find a loophole to financially hurt a family. I am actually in disbelief and will be contacting BBB as I would not want ANYONE else to go through what we have with this place. Take you or your child elsewhere, this place will create mental trauma by having to deal with them and try to reach them on a daily basis. Let these reviews speak for themselves. They have less than 3 stars for a reason. They'd probably have even less but their clients may not be the type to want to speak up on their scams. Do your research! I saw her along with my husband last year and it was such an awful experience that I still haven't recovered. I never expected Megan to fix my marriage, it was doomed; but the behavior of this "therapist" was at best negligent and at its worst dangerous. 1. I am a trained mediator. The way Megan handled the conflict between my husband and I left much to be desired. At one point I wondered if she was just there to collect a paycheck. the only thing she did that I agreed with was to tell us to stop name calling. She watched us bickering and argue for weeks and all she did was give us a print out about safe arguing. BOTH husband my and myself called each other names, yet I was the only one admonished for it. She addressed it during the first meeting, I never did it again, yet weeks into our time together she still brought it up. She ignored me when I told her my husband may not call me names in front of her but he's been doing it at home and since we've seeing her. One would think a marriage counselor would have been curious enough to ask probing questions and try to get to the root cause of the behaviors we were engaging in. She did not. She was in over her head and instead of getting help or being honest about the fact that she didn't know how to help us, she elected to instead sit there looking confused and collect payment. 2. She has awful listening skills. I would say something, she'd repeat it back in. Her own words and it would be the opposite of what I just said. Ex. Me: I love how close my husband's family is, in the beginning it was endearing, but over time it became suffocating and am time spent with them was no longer fun it was an obligation and a burden. Megan: "it sounds like you have an issue with how close his family is." That is quite literally the opposite of what I said, and at the very least she could have asked probing questions to both of us regarding that topic. 3. When my husband openly mocked my suicidal ideation, she sat silent .the fact that a mental health professional did not address that is mind blowing. People on suicide hotlines have better training than that. I know this because I have used these hotlines as I've struggled with suicidal ideation and other struggles for years. I am currently under the care of a psychiatrist and take meds for depression, anxiety, anD CPSD. The mocking was harmful and unnecessary, but I expect that from my husband, I hold a professionjal to a higher standard. Her dropping THAT particular ball was when I knew she should not be doing marriage counseling. When he interrupted me to argue with me about how he doesn't argue with me she sat silent. When he tried to police who I could speak to, invalidated my feelings, and tried to manipulate me she SAID NOTHING!!!! 4. By this time, I know I'm in trouble. If insist on another provider my husband will accuse me of trying to find one that will agree with me, and I thought that would hinder any healing or progress. It felt like I was stuck with an abuser and his ally. I don't know if she decided early on that I was the problem and blocked out another contributing factors, or if she for some reason liked him, but I knew she wasn't advocating for fairness and truth. 5. After being counseled by real mental health professionals, I was instructed to let the EAP pay for the month, and then start the process over again with a new provider. I called the EAP and complained about her. SHE CONFRONTED ME ABOUT COMPLAING ABOUT HER IN SESSION. At No point did she gain my consent to bring that up during session, nor did I have the EPA pers permission for her not only know I complained but put me in front of my abuser. I don't know which was worse the suicidal ideation or this. That was wildly inappropriate and who the hell does that in her profession? If my husband were a physically violent person, she could have very well put my life in danger, but what was so interesting was that her approach completely changed. She started to hold my husband accountable for some of his behaviors she stated that she believed he treated me differently in person than he did behind doors, she stated that she did not condone any of his behaviors. It was too little too late. Because she had just spent a month enabling his behavior when confronted he felt attacked and I don't blame him. From his standpoint it probably felt like he I was trying to manipulate the situation, which is exactly what I was hoping to avoid. And something she should understand. This woman is in competent, unprofessional, and dangerous. I never saw her take notes ever. It's obvious she didn't take if seriously and she should...or find another way to make money. 0 out of 10, I wouldn't recommend her to God.

Apparently a couple weeks ago the psychologist and my ex decided they were done without an even a discussion from me. I'm so upset and disappointed in this place I have 50/50 legal custody and they knew that and they did nothing. It's like I no longer exist they're exacerbating the trauma and drama that I was dealing with in the divorce do not come here.

She gives me a sense of calm ... she's impartial, supportive, and isn't afraid to challenge me when necessary. We have a conversation -- so there's actual dialogue and an exchange of ideas every session. I've been to other doctors where I do all of the talking and you never really hear from them except generic comments to keep you talking. Dr. Fronczak is different in that she is an active participant in the sessions -- you're not just sitting there, being observed. She's engaged. And by the questions she asks and how she guides us through sessions, it's obvious she cares. She is whip smart and points out any inaccuracies (for example if I'm coming to an irrational conclusion), or patterns and makes helpful observations about things I wouldn't have otherwise realized. She is a great therapist. And I have seen several. I feel a sense of calm and stability when speaking with her and after leaving. She is prompt. Very flexible with scheduling and payment. She is an excellent communicator and always gets right back to you. Her rates are on the lower side of average. She's easy to work with and easy to talk to.
