Having worked them in the past I called them about manual wheelchair repairs and transitioning into a power chair . I was told that they would get back to me weeks later I hadn't heard from them only to find out that they had the parts for my wheelchair yet never called me to make an appointment. This week Carlos canceled two appointments back-to-back blaming it on his trifling unprofessional , unreliable technician although I understand it's not helpful to me because I need repairs to my manual wheelchair and I'm ready to transition to a power chair but these people don't have enough patient respect to show up! Carlos canceled on me two days in a row !! And they expect I'm supposed to be grateful when they say let's try for next week . Well today is May 4th and I called them in March to start the process so I'm done with Burbank medical and their trifling technician who shows up whenever he likes!! Therefore on a scale of 1 to 10 I give them a 1!!! And I am now off to find a medical supply company who will show up! Handle business! Repair my manual chair and assist me with getting a power chair!! It's unfortunate because these companies know that patients don't have many options so they feel like they can treat patients like trash and we're going to gleefully accept it. NOT!!

I was there few days ago and needed a back Foam Bed Wedge and Knee Elevated Wedge that would have a soft cushion, good back support and comfort. Got both the knee wedge, and the back support wedge which makes my knees & back somewhat pain free. Will get used to it eventually. They have so many different varieties of Medical Supplies in their store that your head will start spinning. They have: Recliner Chairs, Scooters, Walkers, Bed pan, Wheelchairs, home healthcare supplies; such as hospital beds all the way to other types of medical supplies/products for all ages, genders; and, also if something needs to be repaired, they will do that for you too. I believe there is a different location for that. Knee Elevator Wedge cost me $28.95 w/out tax and the bed wedge was $39.95 w/out tax. So the prices for both items were not that expensive. Even if they were, your comfort and heath should be your first and the ONLY priority. Thank you owners, employees at Sherman Oaks Medical Supplies. You have been a big help in every way!! My chair stopped…read moreworking unexpectedly so we Google searched the nearest Permobil dealer and found Sherman Oaks Medical Equipment in Pacoima. Right from the start on the phone, they tried helping us troubleshoot the issue with my chair. Since we were very close to their location, we brought the chair to them. They immediately stopped what they were doing to look at my chair. Within 2 hours they had my chair diagnosed and fixed, and we were on our way. I would recommend anybody needing this specialty service to go to them. Their repair shop was clean and neat, and ALL of the employees, from the office personnel to the guys in the shop, were friendly, kind and very helpful. I wish they were my local repair shop back home in Wisconsin! :)

I was trying to get my handicapped father out of the car so we can get something to eat, when she began to yell at us to move my car, like she was F........ parking police. She became very insistent, and told us that she was going to call the police on us if we didn't move. After a while, things got very heated, can you image here l have my elderly father on a walker, that can barely move, my mother suffers from high blood pressure, and l got this stupid F...... crazy bitch Asian woman yelling at us, to move my car, And once l told her no!! She started taking pictures of my car, so she can report us, so then l started taking pictures of her.. Which she didn't like at all. At this point my parents were so nervous with her, they just wanted to get the hell out of there, so l had no choice but to take them somewhere else.
