I didn't know much about lingerie when I first went into Personal Touch, but the employees here were so helpful and informative and taught me a lot about how to choose lingerie. Specifically, Joanne was super friendly and helped me choose items that were suitable for me. Compared to the variety of types of lingerie, I think their colors weren't as diverse, but they at least have basic colors for each type. The products they have here are a bit on the pricier side, but quality of both the products and service are completely worth it. Totally recommend this place if you're looking for a more personalized shopping experience for lingerie Also if you're having trouble with parking, I recommend going to the Rowland Heights branch. Recently, I had read on r/ABraThatFits about how finding the right bra can be a life-changing moment, and that's what I had with Charlotte at this shop! Charlotte was very knowledgeable. She took a few measurements, and then starting showing me a range of bras. She helped me and showed me how to adjust it, for the perfect fit, too. The bras she found me are comfortable, very supportive, and accentuate my shape. They were higher quality than Victoria's Secret, and a much better fit for me. I found this place by accident while searching for the right bra as an Asian. I'm a mom of two and I was frustrated searching for bras from Target or any well known website who claims to be supportive for all types of women. I have been wearing Satami shaper bras since 15 years ago and I love them! I was getting them from Hong Kong but with everything pandemic related I haven't been able to make it back. I know I need new bras asap because everything changed with my body after child birth. I'm so glad I found this place offering Satami bras selection (and many more) because you absolutely need a fitting to get a right fit for your body. Joanne was helping me with my fitting and she was so helpful and offered insights into what I should wear. The items she suggested fit my lifestyle (work from home) very well and I am still estatic with my purchase! I'm finally wearing bras that fit me and they provide the support that I really need. Pro tip: if this is your first time visit and you have not tried Satami bras before, just note that fitting will be quite different than let's say, Victoria's secret. The staff will need to see how it fits on you and might need to use their hands to adjust the fitting on your body so you know how they are supposed to fit. This I think is super critical to a good fitting so I would suggest to go with the flow. You have to keep saying no multiple times to random things they try to push on you until you're out of there. They even try to upsell you while you're checking out. I stopped by a few months ago right when they were about to close (I didn't realize they had shortened covid hours) but Joanne was kind enough to stay behind for a few minutes and still welcome me in to help me grab what I needed. They do throw a lot of options at you but it's never to upsell, rather they just want to find something that fits all of your needs (level of support, type of shirt you'll be wearing it under, etc.). Ever since I started wearing their bras I've never been able to buy bras from stores like VS again -- the lack of support is really apparent once you try these and then switch back. I've forgotten how hard it was for me to buy undergarments while living in Asia (specifically -- bras) and hence, when I accompanied my BFF and her mom to this store, was immediately brought back to the days when I was the "freak" in the store instead of the other way around. There definitely is a niche for these products -- underwear, bras, pajamas etc sized perfectly for the Asian woman -- and I use this term loosely because I certainly do not fit under that umbrella and neither do a lot of people I know. As my BFF's mom was sourcing out girdles (yes -- you heard me right), I was browsing with my BFF (who is a size 2 and has a hard time fitting into undergarments from Victoria's Secret) all the time commenting on how small the items were and how I should just sit out this one. My BFF would always lament on how unfair it was that at Victoria's Secret, she would pay the same price as I would for the same item although the item I buy requires twice as much materials as her's. She would always turn to me with "remember, I'm paying for half of your bra"! The girls working at this store are a little on the pushy side, but they are not rude. They're just .... well .... pushy. They try to sell you more than you really want, but it didn't sway the smart shopper that is my BFF's mom. She left with the 2 girdles she came for and even got them to throw in a sample packet of this special detergent for her purchase. Prices are on the high side, but then again, everything's imported. The stuff they carry is really pretty and some are even imported from France and Italy, but mostly, the things they carry are from Korea or China. Never going back again Thanks to their "professional" service!! I went in knowing what I want to get. I picked up a nubra, tried it on and were getting ready to pay when they started hard selling this detergent. I politely but firmly said no 2 times, mentioning I have other detergent which I have been using on all my nubra. The ladies (in her 40s or 50s) told another younger lady to note that down on their receipt or record, she specifically said the customer didn't buy the detergent, so if anything happen to the nubra, it's her fault. She kept talking about it while I was sitting in front of them waiting for my receipt to get printed. And the most interesting part is the nubra isn't even refundable (they reminded me before I left) so why does it matter if I use or not use their detergent??!! read more
