Established in 2000.

Hi, my name is Erika Cripe. I've been a personal trainer in the fitness field for over 20 years. I studied kinesiology and minored in nutrition at Lousiana State University. I've attained certifications in Yoga, Pilates, Spinning, Aerobics, Silver Sneakers and Water aerobics. I've studied herbs, essential oils, permaculture and food as medicine. I ran a small hobby farm and CSA(Community Supported Agriculture) in the past. Abundant health has always been a passion of mine. Massage and body work is a newer modality for me but it has come so naturally and fits so well with my passion for exercise and health. He was an absolute delight. So easy to talk to, definitely qualified and made us all feel very safe. He was a doll and very patient with our nervous 8 year old as well. She started off in borderline tears and by the end was floating down the river outside of the raft on her own. Again, 10/10 for Goose and the 3 hour raft trip. Ended the day with the 2 hour sunset horseback ride. Scooter was also amazing with our group. Very skilled young lady who handled our interesting group very well. Empowered our young rider to be confident and handle her own on her first ever trail ride. She's still talking about her horse Lucky and how much she admired our guide. Very relaxing and 100% enjoyable ride. We will definitely use Rim Rock for future adventures when in town.

There was zero water movement and it ended up being a very boring, floating trip. The guide had to paddle all 3 hours just to get the boat to its destination. Not worth $400. I wish they would have let us know it would be so uneventful. All guides were great and very good with the kids.

Do not go here! although the staff was nice. we had a misunderstanding with the level of rider my…read morehusband had indicated he was and rather than switch out the horse for him when we arrived - they were in a rush because they had a film crew waiting (not my problem as safety should have been the priority). My husband ended up on a horse that would not be directed properly and wanted to go back to the barn- so she started BUCKING him- very scary. The worst part was that the owner took ZERO responsibility for this incident and basically called me a liar. wow - so much for the customer is always right. My husband was so shaken up he did not go on the ride at all and the owner would not refund the ride or even entertain our side of the story saying that since we were 10 min late it was OUR fault! Mind you the place is in the middle of nowhere with no cell or GPS available and spotty signage once you make the turn into the driveway. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE. **here's an update: they did refund the ride but that was not communicated to me on the hostile phone call I received from the barn - maybe the owner ? Don't know because she did not have the good manners to introduce herself......

I would not recommend this tour for younger kids (under 10) or inexperienced riders. The horses were not well behaved & were hard to control, even the helper got thrown off a hill by her horse, thankfully she didn't hit her head on a rock. I've ridden horses 10+ times & I never felt scared before. My horse Jem was very difficult, she kept trotting every time we went downhill & I almost fell off twice. She also kicked & injured 2 other horses who got too close. I wasn't able to ride with my kids since the horses decided where they wanted to be & the tour guides had a hard time corralling horses when taking a group photo. I would think twice about booking.
