Chicken wings were soooo good with the sweet and spicy sauce they toss them in. For drinks they had a limited time menu and I had one called "The Miami Monk" and it was this creamy coconut cocktail with rum and it was only $10 and for the price it was so worth it. Service was great our server was very friendly and he was really attentive and was asking us our feedback on the food and drinks, and it's things like that, that make the experience all that much better! Ambiance was nice it was a tiny little hole in the wall playing some good music, but it was empty when we went, which personally for me I really enjoy opposed to it being super packed lol, I would recommend this place all day every day!

It was a frozen concoction of fresh pineapple and strawberry juice with wine based liquor and it was divine. I usually stay away from frozen drinks out of fear of sugar concentrated juices, but the fresh juices made the drink such a delight. I was a happy camper knowing I had another one coming after my first one. They make wine based cocktails that aren't very far from the real deal, so it's a great way to find some favorite drinks without going down the liquor rabbit hole. I had the meatballs which came swimming in a tasty marinara with a side of crusty bread. The meatballs were seasoned just right and perfect to munch on with my drink and the red wine that came afterwards. I mopped up the sauce with the bread and have no regrets. The staff and management knew I was holding a book club meeting and gave us a beautiful partially enclosed space with a table to seat 10 people surrounded by shelves of wine that they sell. If you order a bottle and it's a red, they'll take it right off the shelf and open it for you. Sometimes they have a half off wine bottle promotion, so it's good to go and check out what they have going on! The manager Rebecca and her staff took great care of a rambunctious group of hungry and thirsty bookworms and made us feel very welcome. They also have a delivery option which is always a plus. I definitely recommend and will definitely be coming back here during my next Miami visit.

Something in their management or operations has clearly changed. I used to visit these venues frequently, but one night I was abruptly escorted out with no explanation or reason given. I later learned from others that if you're not constantly purchasing drinks, they will single you out and ask you to leave. I'm not a big drinker--but had I been treated with respect, I would have gladly made full dinner nights out of it there. On previous visits, security staff would oddly sit next to me and ask if I was "okay," as if something was wrong, despite there being no issue. On another occasion, I was told to leave without any explanation whatsoever. I am a well-dressed, respectful, and well-groomed individual, and the only apparent reason for this treatment was that I wasn't repeatedly buying overpriced drinks or reserving a table. Staff constantly watch and patrol the venue, which creates an uncomfortable atmosphere and discourages guests from ordering at their own pace. This made me feel unwelcome and pressured rather than relaxed. Additionally, having worked closely with city code compliance in the past, I can say that the hallway connecting Sugar and Tea Room appears too narrow during their over-capacity weekend nights, creating a potential fire hazard in the event of an emergency. I'm not sure whether the city or fire department has been made aware of this. I am a reasonable and respectful person and would not have posted this review if management had simply provided an explanation or apology after I reached out privately. I received an initial response stating they would follow up, but no further communication ever came. Brickell now offers many better options, and I've been treated far better at other venues. Until I receive an apology and a genuine welcome back, I see no reason to remove this review or return.

The engaged and friendly employees are what cemented me coming again. Starting with the gentleman manning the line out front he was so friendly. Some lady made a snide comment about something I had on and he made a very nice comment which started the moment off amazing. Then the front door man two tea room was super friendly. There was a little bit of a wait, but he wasn't rude about it . Once and we ordered a drink at the bar from the Bartender as soon as the Bartender notice us there he grabbed a drink order made our drinks quickly. It really was a seamless inviting experience and the music was amazing. Can't wait to get a chance to come back !

I want to say the staff waiting the tables, bar, and kitchen have done an amazing job always friendly even when at times the bar was fully packed they were all troopers and gave amazing service.
