I called with a tight timeline, gave them the budget and color scheme, and they came through in a tremendous way. Within 15 minutes, they had created the most beautiful, thoughtful bouquet that looked like it had been planned for weeks. To top it off, the woman who helped me, possibly the owner (I didn't catch her name, but I wish I had!), was already outside waiting for me as I pulled up, bouquet in hand. Talk about service. I haven't actually been to the location. However, I suggested this business originally to a friend of mine whom need to order a sympathy flower for a friend of hers fathers viewing. She was worried because she would be out of town when the flowers would be delivered. This business had sent her a photo of her arrangement ordered. Because my friend was out of the country she didn't receive the photo. I called the business and asked if they would be able to send me the photo so that I could share it with my friend out of town. They did so without a problem. My friend was very satisfied with the business and the arrangement. Yesterday after the business had closed I realized that I had not ordered a flower for my Aunts viewing. I went to the website and was still able to order an arrangement to be delivered today. I checked in with the company this morning to see if they had received my order. They were just getting in but, they checked and reassured me that delivery would happen today before the start of the viewing. When I arrived to the viewing I was totally satisfied with my ordered arrangement. I am very anal when it comes to flower arrangements. Let's just say thumbs up to this business. I had no complaints. We ordered a premium arrangement and at best got no more than a few flowers in a vase. When we called the florist directly she did not want to make it right. She stated she only gets $35 from the online platform and that is all she could make. She would not make the actual arrangement we ordered because she needs to make money. When my friend moved from NYC to Baltimore last year, I wanted to send her some kind of housewarming gift. I decided on a potted plant, hoping that she would think that having something to water would be fun and nice to look at (rather than something that might just break or get lost). I found this florist on google after having the idea to order my sister a centerpiece for Thanksgiving since I couldn't make it since I'm not in the area. I got the idea the day before Thanksgiving and placed a call that morning. I spoke to one of the florists and explained what I was looking for... basically it came down to how much I wanted to spend and a general idea of the centerpiece. They sounded really busy, and while my last minute order was less then ideal, they were friendly and were beyond patient with my order. Teleflora-certified, but cheaper than teleflora. Their online ordering service is very convenient since I live on the west coast. I chose this place to send my sister birthday flowers because of reviews that said the staff was friendly. I placed an online order 10 days in advance, but decided to change the delivery address 3 days before delivery. So I called the store and the second I started talking to the lady, she was super rude! She acted as though I was asking for something ridiculous and that I was ruining her day. Not sure that I would return here because I can't stand bad service. Look, here is the deal: they do good work, but don't expect to be treated like a King or Queen. These folks have been around a while, and they are not going to pretend that your visit is the highlight of their day. Instead you, the customer, are going to need to act like an adult: figure out what you want, and ask for it. If you do that, you will be very pleased with the results. This is probably the best florist in Baltimore. I mean, I haven't tried them all so that may be slightly hyperbolic. I do, however, do dumb shit around the house from time to time, thus creating the need to send apology flowers to my lady friend. P & F always come through in a pinch. My lady friend is always very impressed that I am able to pick out such beautiful arrangements. Here's the thing, I don't. I just call them up and I say, "Hey, it's 'The Prophecy'. I did that thing again where I left the toilet seat up but this time I also drank a bunch of whiskey, accidentally locked myself out of the house at 4 am, and broke the window and her favorite picture frame as I was trying to get back in. So, I have $50 to spend and I need something that looks really awesome!" Then, they say, "We got it." Then I give them some of my treasure, and about 3-5 hours later these vases filled with beautiful flowers show up to my lady friend's place of business and she doesn't hate me anymore. The flowers are always fresh and stay looking alive for usually a couple weeks after I order them. Despite what others have said I have always found the employees to be overly friendly and helpful. I decided to give them a try, since they were close to where I work. I called on Friday morning for a Friday afternoon or Saturday morning delivery. The person who answered the phone seemed very surprised that I wanted to order centerpieces - only 6 for that day or the next day - not a big deal. I totally felt like I was ordering flowers from a pizza parlor! I asked for "Spring colors" - purple, yellow, pink, orange. She asked me what kind of flowers I wanted - "Daisies and Carnations?" she asked. I said for $30, I would like something nicer. She asked me what I wanted, instead of offering me suggestions. She asked me if they all had to match. Really? Whatever. When they arrived, they were white and red - looked more like Christmas time arrangements than spring time. I was hesitant to use them, given 2 poor customer service reviews and having very little patience for that, but I thought I would give a call and see. I live in California and my parents are in Baltimore and I wanted a centerpiece for their Christmas dinner table. I found many options on their website and called with what I had in mind- and it was a good $10 less for what I found on 1800flowers (whom I will not deal with again- it is too convoluted to use their online site to order and overseas operators were no help) Called up and the woman who answered was not unpleasant, not jumping with A+ customer service joy and it was Dec 23. I told her what I wanted and she let me know that they were out of the 3" pillar candles they showed and would I be ok with a substitute of 2 tapers? I was. Took the order and assured me it would be delivered on Dec 24. And that, they delivered and my mom was over the moon happy and they had been able to provide a special 3" taper candle after all. She was also impressed with the container it came in, which given the arrangement, did not require anything special, since you did not see it. My mom is keep this card and plans to use them again. So will I. The reason for 4 stars- they did not go above and beyond what was expected, but not disappointing at all. read more

I placed an order last Thursday for flowers to be delivered to my boyfriend's office for our anniversary. Due to my browser's auto-fill option my home address ended up in the company name field. I called immediately to correct -- they were very abrupt and borderline rude with me, but I was assured the change had been made. (I think people should take the review above from Rick K. with a grain of salt, as this is a mom and pop shop, with a clearly posted sign about minimum required for credit card purchase of $20. Rick's comparison to a coffee shop does not make sense to me, as the economics of these places are quite different, and I think their credit card policy is quite reasonable.) I have done an overseas order for the first time to Baltimore and it was a great disappointment. the website is not facilitated to customers out of the US as we cannot put in our contact number with our country code, and there is no customer service email to contact them, you would need to find the suitable time to give them a call ( the email on the website is invalid). As our timings are 14+ hours apart, there was some difficulty in contacting them, anyway, I finally contacted them and they said there is nothing that could be done about it ( surprisingly, they dint like the sound of it and the other lady across the phone is actually asking her to close the line on me! thank God, she did not because this would have been more than awful, only because I am calling from abroad does not give u the right to be rude and just because I called a month after doesnt give them any right not to receive my feedback! anyway after explaining to her why i called late and that their customer service is not working that she accepted to listen to me and said this is the best that they could substitute my order with . My order that costed me around 130 dollars looked like a 70 dollar order and they said this is the best that they could substitute it with. if i could upload photos, i would have sent everything in details. the vase difference, the difference in flowers and quantity and the overall arrangement. I think I will need to find another website in Baltimore that can deal with international customers. Will definitely use this company again. I was asked to get flowers for one of our admins who helped on a big event for our team. The only place closer to my office than this is Wholefoods and I wanted to make sure we could have an arrangement already put together nicely in a vase. I was able to go walk down during lunch and be back to my office with a beautiful bouquet in ~30 minutes, that includes 20 minutes walking time round trip. It was a bit odd to have to ring a doorbell to be let inside, but it was very clearly marked so not a problem. The woman working the front desk asked what I was in for and I let her know I was there for thank you flowers. She offered a fall arrangement they already had put together but it was not exactly what I was looking for and a bit more expensive as well. I asked if we could put together a new arrangement and she said no problem and asked for my budget. She asked me which flowers I wanted, I am by no means close to a florist so I pointed at a few flowers I liked and after a little while she helped suggest a few others that would look nice. She brought the flowers we selected into the back where her co-worker arranged them in a vase. I paid while the flowers were arranged and shortly after they brought the arrangement out for me to OK before wrapping it to protect during my walk. The flowers looked beautiful and seem like they will last for a long time. Overall, my experience was pleasant. As others stated, they did not blow me away with warm and friendly customer service, but the flower arrangement was reasonably priced, very quickly put together in a professional manner, and of good quality. read more

I have never ordered flowers from Perzynski & Filar but have received flowers from here on several occasions and I'm impressed every time. The first time the shop was randomly selected because it's near my office - a dozen roses in a tall square vase with rocks on the bottom that was the talk among everyone I knew for weeks, the second was the flowers that were on the table the night my husband proposed (we still have the fun beady-type things that were part of the arrangement) and again a few weeks ago, my husband called on short notice and picked up the biggest, most beautiful arrangement of flowers I've ever seen. Not only are they beautiful, the flowers last longer than any I've ever received before. I thought the first time I called that I just caught this very rude person on a bad day, but she was even worse with me the second time. The first time I called she was about to leave for vacation and said I'd have to call back in 2 weeks. When I did call back like she asked, she refused to even set up a consultation until a few months prior to my wedding and when I told her it was memorial day weekend, she said she wouldn't help me at all.
