I came in yesterday at 7:30pm and was turned away because they were at 'full capacity' which was slightly disappointing, however I am glad I came this morning instead and was treated by them. I am reading in another review they don't take walk ins after 7pm so maybe be aware of that, because there was nobody else there besides us! I think in that case they should just close at 7, I'm not really sure what the point of staying open is if you aren't going to take people. However, I am glad we were able to make an appointment for the following morning (today) and there was no wait time!

Sore throat cough. Yellow and green mucus.. Told the nurse who checked me in all the information above .. including length of time for symptoms.. They took my payment I waited a little over an hour.. finally made it to a room. They tested me for strep throat, Covid & The flu .. All came back negative. However obviously I'm still sick sore throat congestion coughing up dark yellow and green mucus.. even in front of the Dr .. I get told for the FIRST time in my life (40yrs). I haven't been sick long enough for them to prescribe medication.. NEVER have I ever heard such a thing .. here I am trying to be pro active and get on top of whatever I got going on and get told I haven't been sick long enough ??? 2 main issues I have .. #1 .. could have told me that at the front desk when you asked the first time .. and the second time when the nurse asked .. and told me to wait to come back before taking my money.. #2 .. last time I checked when your sick and body is showing signs of an infection.. you go to the DR to get treated .. how long you have been dealing with the issue has NEVER mattered Nor should it matter!!! Your body is showing CLEARA SIGNS OF AN INFECTION of some kind there is definitely medicine that can be prescribed to help .. and if you knew I wasn't sick long enough to help me in the first place then let me know right then and there .. NOT AFTER YOU TAKE MY MONEY !!! Walked out feeling confused and angry and scammed .. all while still being SICK!!! .. felling worse today than yesterday.. what a sad place and a terrible experience.. IF I COULD SUE THE PLACE I WOULD !!!!!!

Both times, with different doctors (the first last Fall but I forget the Dr's name since it was a while back- a woman with brown hair ; the second recently with Cedar), the doctors both efficiently and correctly diagnosed the problems. The front staff were also professional and kind, and we were seen quickly (especially given that it is an urgent care, and by its nature sometimes it gets crowded). I almost don't want to write a review to keep this place our secret, but they deserve the shout out for doing a consistently excellent job across the board.

The nurses were incredible in the L&D department, maternity ward, and the NICU. The NICU staff is wonderful. Very kind, knowledgeable, and experienced. So many of the nurses have had 20+ years experience in the NICU. That was comforting. The Neonatologists were great as well. They always took the time to sit and chat and answer as many questions as we had. The doctors were also available by phone if we happened to miss them in the NICU. Unfortunately not all hospitals have the same environment as Cottage's NICU. The new hospital is beautiful and the food .... Holy moly. A hospital with a menu! Awesome.

Other hospitals manage high volumes without stripping the patient of their advocate. ER visits are stressful and frightening. Processing complex information and making high-stakes health decisions entirely alone puts the patient at a big disadvantage. I challenge the admin at Cottage to correct this. Being our first baby, we were extremely concerned about his issues with his passage way. Unfortunately, no medical professionals were diagnosing him. They were stumped. We finally got referred to Dr. Tylor, right around the time our son turned 10 months. At our first appointment, she walked into the treatment room and was able to diagnose him in 30 seconds by just looking at him. She was able to suggest a treatment plan going forward and didn't want to waste anytime. She happily answered about a million questions. Fast forward to his outpatient surgery before his first birthday, everything went off without a hitch. Her surgical team was amazing and you could just tell they respect her as the expert. Our son got a cold after surgery, and Dr. Tylor answered my frantic calls and texts around 11pm at night. I think most importantly what I want to say is...having a baby is hard already. We were already so stressed out, and Dr. Tylor treated him as if he was her son. I will never be able to thank her enough for her care and expertise. He was a different child after the surgery. Babbling, running, BREATHING, thriving. From our hearts, thank you. P.s. She works her tail off. Never not working.
