I used their services a year and a half ago when my first of my two pups died, and I was so incredibly pleased with the outcome of their presentation of the items I ordered. When it came time to say goodbye a month ago to my 2nd pup, I reached out directly to them to inquire about all their services as I had more time to plan and they were so caring and genuine but as they do not perform the shot, I went through my vet again to set up the planning. Unfortunately, my vet did not send them the correct or requested information/instructions, so when I received my items, I was very upset. During a time of a loss, this is the last thing one wants to deal with. I called them directly to see what my options would be and about getting corrections. Thankfully, the paw print was not missed in my request by the vet as there is nothing as a backup for that, and I would have been seriously pissed. When I explained what happened, Paw Angels did not skip a beat on what they could do to fix everything, and with the best attitude and heartfelt care. I live closer to them than my vet's office, and they gladly offered that I could come to them directly and just cut out the middle man that would save me time and further delays that I also experienced from my vet. (They never called me to tell me Asia's items were there for pick up). The office is small but a great space with soothing colors. They even have a space for private viewing of your pet, etc. The staff couldn't have been more friendly, the director even came out to talk to me. I made it very clear that I knew this was not their mistake and that I completely understood that they can only go off the information they are given. I am a little OCD so they understood me wanting my two urns to match and got them as close as possible. Given the time difference and machine upgrades, they couldn't 100% match them but really close, and I can take time to see if the differences bother me and take China's urn in and get another one made to perfectly match. The experience and outcome with Paw Angels directly were extremely positive, and I will tell all my friends with pets to go through them directly if possible.

After a difficult night discovering my 16 year old, healthy fur baby Duchess had passed away unexpectedly in the backyard, I called a few places trying to find out where I could get her cremated. One place even asked me if I was calling around to price shop. Very insensitive and pretty heartless when I have had such a loss of my sweet girl! I called Pet Angels and the man that answered the phone was very sympathetic, sincere and concerned about me. His voice was very comforting and when I asked about what they offered and how much each option would cost he gave me the details. He said that there were options for different urns and that they had private cremation with a very detailed identification process so that you knew you were getting back your loved one. I Received my urn and the remains of Duchess today. It's been a very difficult time. True to their word Duchess's urn is a beautiful wooden box with flowers on top. They printed a metal name and date plate to put on the front. I truly appreciate the certificate that they provided, the grief brochure and the other brochure about companion animal loss. This business will always be special to me for the caring employee and the care of my beloved fur baby.

No, they aren't. I know this because I've been out there when they are 'open' and I've called looking into the lonely office window but let's move on, shall we? You see that website above? It will tell you how beautiful this place is. I've got pics. The website is also 'under construction.' I've had seven animals cremated over the years.. three of them here. A few years ago, I noticed the place was kinda going downhill but I just figured the Fosters were working on it. I was wrong. Dead wrong and no pun intended. I have no idea how much overhead a pet cemetery has but I'm thinking it can't be much. I told Travis (the guy filling out the paperwork) exactly that when I made the mention that this place was really looking like shit and he agreed. Anyway, I provide a debit card and I'm told that the phone is no longer working in the office ('the phone doesn't work out here anymore; I'll have to run up to the house to run your card'). I'm also told that the cost for the cremation of my pet is $160. They go by weight. I question that and Travis looks at the price list and tells me that that is indeed the correct price. Privately, I thought it had gone up a bit. Travis goes to the house and I look at the price guide and of course, the price quoted is not what is on the list. When Travis comes back from the 'house', I tell him I have a question about the price. He picks up the list and tells me that it is 'old and needs to be updated so we just add $30 to each price on here.' I see. So what do we have? A decrepit, ugly ass cemetery; a fence keeping nobody out, an office with a nonworking phone; a website that is 'under construction' filled with lies, an outdated, laminated price sheet that the poor Fosters can't afford to retype and laminate and a parking space that fills with water when it rains which has resulted in my shoes airing out in front of a fan as I type this. As I'm leaving the office, I note 6 white bags with cremated pets in them waiting for their parents to pick them up. Those six bags contain pure profit for this place, old price sheet or not. Here's some financial advice: Those white bags can be bought in bulk from China. You can get a landline through Magic Jack for $44 every THREE years. The place has been under the same ownership for 48 years so I'm thinking it must be paid for by now. Obviously, that is not true due to the above cuts so you might want to check out another financial institution with better rates. This place reeks of greed and it's a damn shame. This place could be so nice. I feel confident that the parents who placed their pets in the Fosters' care weren't counting on the squalor that this place has become. 'Nuf said.

Dr. Abby was easy to communicate with and agreed to help me say goodbye to my boy at our favorite place, Davis Islands dog park. She worked with me to choose a day/time where we would have privacy. On top of being professional, she was so kind and compassionate. I was incredibly upset when the day came and she took so much time and care to hear about my dog's story. I chose to have a private cremation and the turn around time was so fast. I was so happy to have my boy back so quickly. In addition to having his remains hand delivered, I also received so many sweet memorial items. The entire process was so well done and after she followed up with me to see how I was doing. As one of the last but most important decisions for my dog, I am so happy that I worked with Parting Paws.

This was our first time ever leaving our 4 dogs so to say I was nervous was an understatement. The Pocono Pet Nanny's Bed and Biscuit is probably one of the nicest and cleanest places I have ever seen. There are several themed rooms along with beds, TVs and music playing. There is a fenced in area that the dogs can go out to run and do their "business" which worked out well for my dogs since they are used to a fenced backyard. The check in process was great. Jan is very organized and takes lots of notes on each dog. She allowed me to bring in our dogs' bedding, crates and bowls which was fantastic because our dogs were so used to their own things. I will admit I was crying when I left the dogs  but knew I made the BEST decision leaving them with her. Throughout my trip I received texts and pictures updating me on each of my dogs. Never once did I question if my dogs were okay: I knew they were in the best of hands!  Thanks to Jan and her staff, my family and I were able to enjoy our first trip ever. I had such peace of mind! Prior to booking our dogs' stay, Jan was great at communicating with us and never hesitated to answer my (many, many) questions. I was a bit nervous because our one dog is very food aggressive. Jan had no problem taking him in and even fed him in a separate area. She and her staff are "pet people" and truly have love and compassion for animals. Our family never traveled because we did not want to leave our dogs, but I have a feeling our visit with the Pocono Pet Nanny might change things for us. We highly recommend Jan (Pocono Pet Nanny) and will use her again in the future. Thank you Jan and your amazing staff for a job well done!! We can't thank you enough!! Thank you!
