These folks are the greatest !! My 3 year old kitty Sophie passed away in April of this year. The staff were so professional, caring and helpful. They offered me a visitation before her remains were cremated. She was all tucked in a tiny casket with a pillow and blanket . Candles were lit, and they let me stay for as long as I needed to. I used their services a year and a half ago when my first of my two pups died, and I was so incredibly pleased with the outcome of their presentation of the items I ordered. When it came time to say goodbye a month ago to my 2nd pup, I reached out directly to them to inquire about all their services as I had more time to plan and they were so caring and genuine but as they do not perform the shot, I went through my vet again to set up the planning. Unfortunately, my vet did not send them the correct or requested information/instructions, so when I received my items, I was very upset. During a time of a loss, this is the last thing one wants to deal with. I called them directly to see what my options would be and about getting corrections. Thankfully, the paw print was not missed in my request by the vet as there is nothing as a backup for that, and I would have been seriously pissed. When I explained what happened, Paw Angels did not skip a beat on what they could do to fix everything, and with the best attitude and heartfelt care. I live closer to them than my vet's office, and they gladly offered that I could come to them directly and just cut out the middle man that would save me time and further delays that I also experienced from my vet. (They never called me to tell me Asia's items were there for pick up). The office is small but a great space with soothing colors. They even have a space for private viewing of your pet, etc. The staff couldn't have been more friendly, the director even came out to talk to me. I made it very clear that I knew this was not their mistake and that I completely understood that they can only go off the information they are given. I am a little OCD so they understood me wanting my two urns to match and got them as close as possible. Given the time difference and machine upgrades, they couldn't 100% match them but really close, and I can take time to see if the differences bother me and take China's urn in and get another one made to perfectly match. The experience and outcome with Paw Angels directly were extremely positive, and I will tell all my friends with pets to go through them directly if possible. read more

After a difficult night discovering my 16 year old, healthy fur baby Duchess had passed away unexpectedly in the backyard, I called a few places trying to find out where I could get her cremated. One place even asked me if I was calling around to price shop. Very insensitive and pretty heartless when I have had such a loss of my sweet girl! I called Pet Angels and the man that answered the phone was very sympathetic, sincere and concerned about me. His voice was very comforting and when I asked about what they offered and how much each option would cost he gave me the details. He said that there were options for different urns and that they had private cremation with a very detailed identification process so that you knew you were getting back your loved one. I Received my urn and the remains of Duchess today. It's been a very difficult time. True to their word Duchess's urn is a beautiful wooden box with flowers on top. They printed a metal name and date plate to put on the front. I truly appreciate the certificate that they provided, the grief brochure and the other brochure about companion animal loss. The staff was very kind and handled both of my fur babies with loving care. Jessica was very helpful and made sure that all my requests were met. Each of my babies were returned to me in beautiful wood urns with their name plate, the Rainbow poem, a lock of hair and their forever paw print. I even requested a small amount of my pet's remains so I could put their remains in a cremation necklace. The entire package was absolutely beautiful especially the urn. They handled the cremation of my beloved Duchess. Unfortunately, the urn came in and was misspelled "Dutchess". It took a couple of days of communication back and forth with them & the drs office but they did eventually send a new urn. It just showed up just a few more days later so I was thankful for that. My only complaint was that during such a hard time of sorrow, it would have been nice to know they had corrected it and actually sent it. No notice. Had planned to call again and then FedEx rang the door. Still giving 5 stars bc they did make it right as quick as was probably possible, but direct communication from them would have lifted the extra stress I was going through. I easily transferred over the ashes as they were bagged. I feel like they thought the drs office had communicated that but that wasn't the case. Would use them again. Accidents happen. read more

The hardest thing I've ever experienced was the loss of my Hope-kitty. I live in Orlando. Pet Angel came to pick her up. We had a viewing before the cremation for me to come to terms with my loss and kiss my baby girl one last time. The process took a few hours and then we returned to pick up her cremains and paw print and hair clipping. They were so nice and respectful. A few months later we lost our baby boy Tyson-kitty. Pet Angel again came to Orlando to pick him up and set up a viewing for us to say goodbye to our boy one last time. The process was again as good as something like that can be. My dog Buddy died on Christmas Day. He was 15 years old. The Emergency Care Center at Tampa Bay Veterinary Specialists gave us options on Buddy's remains. One of the recommendations was Pet Angel. I chose to have Buddy cremated so I could bring him home. Yesterday I went to the Emergency Care Center to get Buddy and am very impressed at the way they handled him. The bag with the remains, the box which included a lock and key, the certificate and the book explaining the grieving process were so professional and thoughtful. A few years ago I had to put my pug down from old age and was satisfied with pet angel. Fast forward to recently. Had an accident happen and lost my dog ,immediately thought of cremation and decided to go back to pet angel. OK the price was steep but I didn't need bells or whistles just ashes still expensive but I was still in shock. So a week goes by no word from them,2 weeks go by and I decide to call them myself because why on earth would it take that long? Was told they tried to call me repeated my phone never rang nor was any message left also they claimed they sent me a letter to my house and I still have yet to receive the letter:/ I also sent 3 emails and have had no response. I didn't need excuses I needed my dogs ashes and after two weeks! Disappointed is an understatement and how unprofessional telling me they called and sent a letter. 2 weeks ago I had to put my best friend and my love ( I rescued her and had her for 14 years) down through the SPCA. During intake the staff showed me several options as reminders of "Lucy". I opted for the CLAY paw print. I was very excited to have her memorialized in this way. When I picked up this object up I was still emotional so I waited to get home and my husband and myself opened up a beautifully packaged piece of crap. The "clay" is not "clay", on the outside of the box it said" this print was cast in a non-toxic air dry clay and is still in the curing process. This clay will air in a few day. This was a label, Yep, even forgot the "s" on the of day. I received a spongey, wrinkly, white!!!!!, ( clay is not white ) can't even see Lucy's paw print piece of crap!!! I reserved my emotions for 1 week hoping that the "curing" process would miraculously produce a product that I could have to remember my best friend. No such luck, it just got worst. It started to wrinkle - actually it looked like a 90 year old's face, air bubbles were perforating all on the sides, also, on touch, it felt like a kitchen sponge, push your finger into it and then a few seconds later it pops back.. This pet was the love of my life, no matter what , no matter what she was THERE!!!! Today I tried to talk to a manager of Pet Angels. His excuse was that I didn't by the expensive clay paw print. There was NEVER any option of upgrades on a paw print at the SPCA! I was shown what I would be receiving from Pet Angels and that is what I bought. An actual paw print using CLAY- yes, real CLAY. The manager said that he could do nothing for me - NOTHING. If this was a funeral parlor I would be able to sue - hmm, that may be something I will look into. These people are rip off artists. read more
