I would not recommend coming here unless you want your heart broken. I remember when this store used to be I. Dennison and owned by another owner. Those were much better days for this store. Now when J walk into the new building the first thing that hits me is the urine. I looked around and I saw hamster cages. Walked and examined them. They were all broken and scratched. One star is even to much it is a horrible place they have a about. 15 year old turtuse That his cage is the size of him and can't move and the store stinks and all the animals there are dirty and gross I do not recommend it at all and I don't think they have been properly inspected in awhile or at all read more

If I could leave zero stars, I would. This pet store should be absolutely ashamed of how they treat the animals they have here. As soon as you walk in the door, you are overwhelmed by the smell of animal urine. The small animals and fish are right inside the door. They don't seem to be in bad shape, but the cages are a little small. As you go towards the back of the store, the next thing you see are the cats, and the scene is absolutely heartbreaking. There were two adult cats in one small cage, three cats in between the kitten and adult stage in another small cage, and four kittens each in another 2 small cages. The two adult cats were not getting along and fighting in their confined space, which cannot be healthy. All of the cages had cloth on the bottom, but in two of the cages this cloth was wet, whether it was from urine or water I'm not sure of. One of the small kittens was tucked into the back corner of the cage, obviously ill. When we approached, all of the cats came to the front of their cages to receive attention except for that one little kitten, which stayed in its little corner. The other cats all had large amounts of drainage coming from their eyes and noses, and some were coughing and sneezing. If you are familiar with cat behavior, you know that it is instinct for cats to hide their symptoms unless they are very sick. It was absolutely heartbreaking to see all of them in such confined spaces and obviously ill. All the way in the back of the store, they have a pig and a dog. It is nearly impossible to breathe in that corner of the store because of the smell of urine, so it's obvious that the pig and dog probably aren't thriving either. I will never step foot in this place again and I would advise anyone and everyone to avoid this store as well. read more
