They do have three different vets; the care is not always consistent, and you may not see the same vet each time. They do make last minute appointments available for emergencies, but be aware that you may be waiting a long time - the first time I waited 2 1/2 hours, and I was unaware that I would be waiting that long. Also, they don't have cell service or internet service, so the wait feels even longer. So, bring a book, bring work, bring a pillow and blanket and take a nap - you will need something to pass the time, even with a regular appointment.

What I experienced was the most unprofessional, emotionally unstable, vulgar group of people I have ever met. From my first interview there were red flags, constantly complaining about how she can't keep people working for her, (probably because of the horrible toxic environment and VERY poor compensation) asking if I had children and when I said no, saying how that's good because people with kids like to use their kids being sick as excuses not to work. There were plenty of red flags but since it was my first interview in the veterinary field I dismissed them. I digress. The environment it was very toxic. They swore constantly, worse than sailors. Swearing about and name calling clients, other employees when they weren't around, former employees, even about other doctors. Even if you think she likes you, which is sad because I've seen five star reviews from people that if only knew the vile things she's said. Very two faced. As for her veterinary skills, I would very much not trust them with any animals. I've never seen more incompetence in my life. I will leave it at that as the details are just highly disturbing. I don't think she even likes animals. She doesn't own any herself. She said she doesn't like dogs or cats, explaining both are "a**holes". Her and her assistant are very emotionally unstable. They can be calm then all of the sudden have outbursts, swearing and even throwing things.. medical tape, pill bottles etc. It's a very toxic environment. I will add a photo she had on her door facing the sidewalk for everybody to see. It pretty much perfectly depicts the type of unprofessional vulgar environment it is. I recommend steering clear.

We found the area at Honey Run where the puppies are raised to be extremely clean, even 'smelling' to be extremely clean. We sense great attention to detail. We have gotten two of the very best and loving Wheatens you could possibly imagine from Honey Run! We could not recommend Honey Run more highly!!

The number listed online is not in use and their voicemail redirects you to her personal cell phone number. I am sure she has good intentions, but when I called to try to arrange for my pet's burial she told me that she could not help me and that there was no one else working there who could help either because she had somehow simultaneously broken her back/hand and therefor could not write down my name or number. She said her help was out of state and could not give me a time estimate of when they would be back and able to help. Of course I am empathetic to her situation as an elderly woman, but this was supposed to be about the loss of my baby and not a monologue about a stranger's health concerns. I also had some issues years ago when I lost my previous dog regarding a lack of sensitivity surrounding her burial. Phrases like "we need to let the doggie thaw out first" and then "maybe we can stuff her to fit into an X sized casket" were used and was not what I needed to hear during this difficult time. As much as I wanted my other pet to be buried here too with her guardian angel, my family & I could not deal with this nightmare again. I'm sure the woman running it is well intentioned, but very much in need of retirement or someone to take over the business for her. I could not deal with getting the run around again when time was of the essence. I ended up choosing Butterbridge in Canal Fulton instead for my pet's burial & had a much kinder, more efficient & far more professional experience. I am writing this in hopes of preventing someone else from unexpectedly encountering similar problems in the future while also navigating grief surrounding the loss of a loved one. I would strongly not recommend choosing this place the way it is being run to date after having multiple negative experiences, but I do sincerely wish them the best.
