This review is just for the grooming portion…read more They were able to get my 4 year old, 65lbs, shaggy labradoodle in within 2 days of me calling for a groom. We asked for a total shave down/summer cut, and she looked wonderful after!! No spots were missed and she came out very happy. The groomer checked her in and was there for pick up. It took the typical 4 hours. I usually go to Petco or Petsmart because of cost, but when we moved to TX I wanted to try somewhere else. The cost was the same but the groomer took her time to get the knots out between her toes and shave her legs evenly...which wasn't the case at Petco/Petsmart. Also her super hairy doodle ears were plucked all the way. Plus! They got her in sooner. Usually for the bigger retail places it's a week or more out. For large dogs they do not express anal glands, just fyi. Wasn't a deal breaker for me. All the dogs coming in for daycare were super cute and excited! It makes we want to try it out. :)

They said she was tangled to where the only option was to shave her. I say they didn't wash her properly. She wasn't tangled until they got ahold of her and it went bad from there. In the past I had her fur get tangled during washing and you just need to brush and brush as your drying. I believe it was the conditioner that was the culprit. I figured a professional would be able to either fix or not let it happen. she had been there several times with good success but they really messed her up. I wouldn't bring any long hair dog to them. They had the audacity to say that I wasn't brushing her with the correct brush. I know she went in a big pile of fluff and came out a shaved dog. What a bad experience.

My husband and I were both very impressed with Dr. Wilcox, his evaluation of Dusty, and him taking the time to explain her surgery to us. Then I was surprised to get a call from Dr. Wilcox himself, earlier in the day than I thought it would be, telling me Dusty was out of surgery and when we could pick her up. We are VERY pleased with Dr. Wilcox (and he came highly recommended by Dr. Toman). When we went back to pickup Dusty, check-out went smoothly and our charge was less than we were quoted (different injury & surgery than was quoted) - plus Dr. Wilcox gave us a Military discount too. Thank you very much. 8am arrival, the place was instantly packed - but the staff and Drs. handled everyone & everything efficiently and appeared to be very organized. The same efficient service during checkout and pickup that afternoon. And everyone was so nice and helpful!!! We thank you all so much!!!

I didn't want one pet, but my dad and daughter seem to run the show. Our second Dog Indy, fairly new to the family less than a year old, but growing massively was hit by a car. Our local clinic said they were not equipped for the surgery he required. When I saw the Xrays my heart broke. WVC quoted us half what other animal hospitals quoted. WE (mostly my dad) have been driving back and forth from Houston to Grove, TX. Every few days to re-dress his bandages and to remove his stitches. Today he's back to his old habits of jumping on me when I ask him not to. My daughter can now stop terrorizing our older dog and wrestle with Indy once again. I'm thankful to the doctor for making our doggie whole again. *I expect to see his bionic powers soon.* Grateful to the staff for being so friendly to us and our fur baby.

Dr skinner never ran any test or blood work just started her on chemo, went back in for a two week check up. Still no test, xray, or blood work. Went to get a second opinion found out the chemo was doing sever damage to her liver and absolutely nothing to the lymphoma. which could've been prevented by Doing bloodwork. She then passed at the animal house due to her liver completely shutting down along with other organs. The two amazing doctors at the animal hospital even said that all the damage to her organs could've been prevented. Never will I be bring any other animal to them nor will I ever recommend them.

I called first to ask about some alarming symptoms my dog was having and got an upfront, quick response. The technicians' speech remained calm every time they spoke which was reassuring. To make a long story short, if you plan to be seen at this clinic, be sure to show up in a chipper mood. After waiting over 30 minutes to be triaged (totally okay with me as I understand there are always animals with greater needs than mine), I was met by a technician who wAs a bully, verbally abusive, and literally told me that because I was being "rude" that my dog would "have to wait a lot longer". Mind you, my dog had been attacked and had multiple lacerations to her neck. He was looking at my dog laying down in the back of my SUV while telling me that I have a bad attitude and that he was putting her at the bottom of the list. Behind a dog that had an inflamed eye. This is NOT how triage works. The fact that this technician, Jason, punished my pet because I didn't feel the need to coddle his emotional instability is absolutely ridiculous. Nobody comes to the ER vet having a good day. I can handle him being rude to me, but punishing my injured family member out of spite is poor ethical practice among many other things. Please know that if I was a man, he would have NEVER spoken to me this way. I'm a 32 year old female, and was alone and scared. Apparently my tone was not to his liking. Included is a picture of what another practice did to help my dog. Just to clarify that this was more than a small wound. Yes, I had to leave and find somewhere else because he left me outside after looking at my dog. He went in and put her chart away to punish me. He did all of this while we were alone in the parking lot. I have never in my life had a grown man condescend me and speak to me this way. I'm an RN and deal with rude patients daily, but this doesn't change the fact that I am there to help them. If I behaved in the manner he did, I would lose my license and be fired. It's abuse.
