My boy just freshly turned 5 months... and though he doesnt verbally talk.. his body language and mood said it all... he had a BLAST at Pet Play place! Everyone was so welcoming to him and I loved the report card they sent me after his temperament test saying that he did AMAZING! The staff is friendly and welcoming.. the environment is clean (and it smells great which is a plus.. get a bunch of dogs together.. and you never know WHAT smells will come out of there!) I feel so comfortable leaving him there! I wanted to send him some place once or twice a week so that he can socialize.. and make friends... I think we have found his fur-ever boarding and daycare place :) I told all the puppy parents in my community about PPP and their grooming is AWESOME as well! I wrote a review on the grooming.. Sonny did a FABULOUS job cutting my Remington (he looked like a brand new little man... tie and all) Great establishment!!! TOTALLY recommend!

One of several pics of welts he came home with

I brought my dog here when he was 7 months old to socialize him. First day they told me they keep an eye on the new puppies. When I picked him up, got home to find he was covered in welts and scratches and was terrified. I called to find out what happened and they said something to the effect of "well we can't keep an eye on all dogs" and "this is what dogs do". Really?! 6 months old!! I sent them several of the pictures. Never brought him back, and they did not care. One of many pics included. No puppy should be treated like this.

    Fall Festival day

My 7 month old puppy runs up to their door so excited to play! The staff is great. They seem to manage all the dogs very well. I think they wipe her off before pick up because she doesn't smell too bad and I love that.

They are consistently great. Our pets love coming here and they're always reasonably priced. We've been using them since 2017.

Last year, we adopted a beautiful, neurotic, sweet, NEEDY Great Dane puppy out of an abusive situation, little realizing the love and attention he would require. While it has been a pleasure to watch him bloom, we couldn't find quite the right fit for a caregiver to use during our frequent travels. Discovering Linda by chance may have been the best thing that ever happened for our pretty boy. From the very moment we met her, it was apparent that she is an expert "Doggy Whisperer" who has a very special bond with animals, including our Denver. He loves spending time with her and romping in her gorgeous backyard, a place we call puppy heaven! Linda genuinely loves the animals in her care and treats them as her own. Additionally, she sends us photos and videos of our boy when we're away - sometimes it looks as if he doesn't miss us at all! The excited barks and yelps and wags as we approach her driveway before a drop off tell the whole story: Denver loves Linda, and that's so much more than we could ask for.

This is the cleanest facility I have ever seen. Linda sent me text updates and pictures so I could see how they were doing while I was away. I really appreciate the care they received and would highly recommend her services.

She can also have an extra half pill every 8-12 hrs if anxious during the day. Cover well with the turkey and give. If she is still anxious, call her vet to increase dose. When I picked her up on Sept 9, I was told that she wouldn't be allowed to come back to the kennel as she "wasn't a good fit". She was extremely anxious to the point that she was shaking and had to be hand fed. Unfortunately, when I arrived back home and counted the trazadone, I saw that no extra doses had been given, just the bedtime dose. The pill bottle itself even said give extra if needed. My instructions also said "If she is still anxious, call her vet". When I called Countryside, I was told "We never call vets". The problem is, I wasn't called either and my dog was allowed to be extremely anxious when she could have been medicated. I would like to know why my dog was allowed to be so scared when Countryside had extra medication to give her and failed to let the vet or me know that she needed an increased dose. Countryside suggested I get a home caretaker. My dog won't let anyone in her house. She's be very abused prior to our rescue. I've been working with a trainer to help. I sent an email asking for review by a manager or above, but got not repose from Countryside.

My truck broke down and had to be repaired in Maryland so we were a week late getting back. I knew the food would run out so I called and spoke to the manager. My dog was on a special diet. I told the manager to go to Hamby Road Animal Hospital to get more food and have them call me for my credit card. No one followed through and when we got back my dog had lost two pounds because she wasn't getting enough to eat. It was very noticeable when I picked her up. Then Covid started and the lobby shut down. There were less employees too so for years now I've never seen the dogs outside like I used to. Plus our dog seemed hoarse the second to last time she was boarded there which struck us as odd. Last March 2023, I had to have surgery. We boarded our dog for only two nights. When she was picked up, not only was she hoarse again but she had to poop 3 times in a row. So we surmised she was put in her room and ignored. She would only bark if she need to go out or wanted her play and walk times I was paying for. Our dog was so well house broken that she held her poop and barked to be taken out so much she got hoarse. We decided that she would never go there again. She is dead now from cancer but the two trips we made last year before she got sick, we took her with us. We decided not to use this place anymore.

I have wanted to have and train a female GSD (German shepherd dog) all my life since I was raised from birth with a female GSD, Heidi. I had also spent countless hours researching training methods and facilities. My wife was not convinced that boarding for training was how she wanted to have Heidi trained, but after meeting with Chase Haggerman at Georgia K9 NTC and our beautiful Heidi nipping her heels with 3 month old teeth, she agreed to enrolling Heidi in the basic obedience program. I must say thought the week Heidi was there was not easy for us, but it was tolerable knowing who's hands she was in with GAk9. They have an incredible facility with excellent staff. Chase Haggerman and John Wyrick are two of the most awesome guys I know! They are both extremely talented with K9 handling and have my up most respect and appreciation for setting the foundation for Heidi. A few months after completing basic obedience training we returned for intermediate obedience training and choose to train Heide on the remote collar...another priceless decision. As we pulled up to GAK9 NTC Heidi was very excited and happy to be there! We have taken Heidi everywhere that is excepting to us because Ultimately I hope to work her as a therapy dog. I would like to take her to retirement homes, hospitals, the VA. And put a smile on someone's face. Georgia K9 has an environmental program that we plan on enrolling her in as well as advanced obedience training. We are also going to work toward canine good citizen certification. I have no doubt with the help of the great folks at George K9 Heidi will be a star pupil. If you have read this far I appreciate you attention and assure you that if you want a great life with your four legged family member. And you want your pup to live a happy and safe life call on the trainers at Georgia K9! They are not your average dog trainer and the cost is nothing compared to the benefits of the training. Not to mention after training you can board for an extremely reasonable price and you pup is not locked in a crate like most other boarding facilities. I'll stop here and close with this.
