Upon walking into this store you're immersed in a dog's dream - rows of handmade felted toys resembling various types of foods, in all different sizes. My dog has only recently showed interest in toys and it was the best feeling seeing her walk through the store, head in each bin locating the best prize to take home. The cashier was so kind and patient as we claimed the entirety of the store as our personal playground & even won the heart of my dog, providing her with treats for being so well behaved! We learned that all of the products in the store are handmade, working with women artisans in Nepal/Cambodia/Peru+beyond to provide job opportunities and create quality products. On this trip I also met Pudding a Pomeranian and learned about local rescues that helped smaller dogs. All of the items they carry are hand-made ethically ( renewable materials that are natural fibers) and recyclable! They also carry leashes, bandanas, sweaters, coats, and hats! The latest order is now 3 days past when it was supposed to be delivered and I have called several times and each time they promise me that it's definitely coming that day. I called them today (after delivery is already 3 days late) and I tell them that my dog has no more food and what's going on with the delivery. They respond back "sir, your food is on the truck and is out for delivery today" I asked several times to please make sure it comes and they guaranteed me that it would. Of course it never came. If you can't deliver until a certain day / time, that's ok - but don't lie about it and leave a poor dog without her prescription food. This place can never manage to deliver on time and they lie - yet they have no issue charging my credit card as soon as my order is placed. Clearly they don't give a crap about the animals otherwise they would be a little more accurate when promising on food delivery's. Shame on me for buying into their lies.
