Great grooming at reasonable price. My dog looks so cute when she is done at the beauty shop! They take good care of her and call me as soon as she's ready. This week I had them groom my senior cat as well. He's a 19 year old Siamese and had several mats from being a lazy groomer. He's old so he gets to do what he wants as far as I'm concerned. Anyway, I was nervous but the staff reassured me they deal with geezer cats frequently. When I picked him up I was thrilled. He looks like a million dollars! do not bring your dogs to this mildew smelling bad customer service having ass establishment !! i trusted these people with the grooming of my dog even after repeating to the young girl at the register during morning check-ins that i dont want my maltipoo shaved ball. i asked for a teddy bear round face and even asked her not to cut close to my dogs eyes but by the time i picked my dog up i already waited 30+ minutes seeing how they properly handled other people dogs i was told that she was almost done with my dog after being there for almost 9hrs. when i asked again about my dog the young girl opened the door and just let my dog run out !! i grabbed my dog noticed that his snout was bleeding and bruised in the same area i asked them not to even cut in the beginning! so i asked for the cashier girl to let me speak directly to the person responsible for grooming my dog she hollers out the owner . the owner comes out rude and aggressive while im trying to calmly asked what happened she standing in my face saying nothing as the snout of my dogs nose is literally bleeding.. then tells me they can wipe it and put a little powder on it. why the hell would you put powder on his nose if nothing happened so that sent me in a uproar cause now my dog is running up my back terrified while the owner is trying to snatch him from me all while other customers where in the stanky ass building picking up their dogs.. like first of all i can understand a mistake but standing in my face saying nothing happened and then wanting to fix it the issue is like a dumb ass joke! i paid you funky people for a grooming for my dog that literally traumatized him to pieces and if i didn't have enough respect for myself it would've been a long night for petstyles sadly!! my dog is my child and when you cant explain to a parent what happened to their kid in your care yall dont need to be open for business! you try to groom over 30+ dogs a day by yourself fatigued and annoyed one off the smell of the building and two because of all the dogs barking a mistake is liable to happen. but in my situation instead of standing looking stupid in my face risking your life you couldve simply apologized ! but karma doesn't miss i hope that filthy wet mildew smelling ass building burns down to the ground! read more

Horrible!! Not a good place to take your dogs. The place is disgusting , and the bather barely even gets all the soap off. When I went for a work interview I knew I couldn't do it. They had no dryers other than one so it would take hours to even completely dry a dog and they said they have been " closed" for a week but they didn't have any clean towels at all so the dogs was getting out the tub dripping wet. If you want your dog completely cleaned this isn't the place for you. Any clean and organized place would've made sure they had everything ready for when it's time to open. This place needs to be completely redone. Just doesn't feel like a good environment for people or dogs. Mind you upfront looks amazing! But once you go to the back it's a wreck. Also they don't even actually apply soap to your dog they put some soap in a bowl and wash your dog with a rag, that's not a real bath. read more

I thought i had found a finally found a groomer for our 3 standard poodles, based on a recommendation i received from another poodle owner. I agree with all the other reviewers about the different things they noticed and could overlook such things, but i absolutely draw the line at hurting our pets. One of our poodles came home with a spot on the inside of each ear flap that was caked with quick stop. I had a vet appt already for a different issue and asked our vet to take a look, since our poodle would not let either of us touch his ears. The vet cleaned each ear and it looks like something, or someone, had been holding his ears out and burned a circle inside each ear flap! Nobody even said anything when i picked them up that day, i will never visit this groomer again. read more

If I could give negative stars I definitely would!!! My wife dropped off our miniature poodle for grooming last week. They've done his grooming for year. He usually looks a bit ridiculous when he comes home but his hair grows out pretty fast so we've never said anything. This past time is just too bad not to say anything!!! Instead of cutting him they shaved him ALL OVER...from face to the tip of his tail DOWN TO THE SKIN!!! The ONLY place he has hair is his ears!! The people doing intake were clueless about timing, cost and grooming details. Then when I showed up 10 hours later, they weren't finished with my dog and said due to price increase, it cost $130.00! It was $100 only 3 months ago! My dog is uneven, I don't think her ears were cleaned, not sure she was given a bath. And the receptionist was rude after I questioned the cost. I think they just made something up! No pricing is posted and they don't use computers. They wrote down prices and was different even when dogs were same size. Do not bring your pet here. I dropped my dog off at 8am. They said they would call when he was ready. I called to check on him at 11:30 and I was told they are still bathing and drying the dogs and I would get a call when he is ready. At 4:15 I started calling again with no answer. By 5pm I went up there to pick him up only to find that after 9 hours all he has was a bath. They said they couldn't finish him because they had too many dogs that day. I don't get why they would accept so many dogs that they can't finish them all. So my dog was basically kenneled all day in a new place for no reason. My sweet pup Bella was taken to Pet Styles Grooming Salon Wednesday 02/27 for a simple bath and hair cut. We have been using them for years, however in the last 2.5 years i have dreaded taking my animals there. * side bar * my late dog Sassy would have seizures almost any time she came back from there + refused to eat. We got her back that afternoon and it's like she wasn't even the same dog. She was skittish, on edge and has not stopped shaking and crying for 3 days now. At first we thought it was just because it is the first time she has been back there since our sweet Sassy girl passed away.. but that was not the case. They cut her little butt to pieces, sliced the inside of her ears up & did something to her eye. Our vet is guessing some type of chemical damage to her eye. Guess who they didn't even think to mention all of this to? YEAH, her owners. I noticed it after i got home from work... my dad took her to the vet Thursday morning & he was LIVID. The vet called pet styles and asked them if they had after cut cream from accidents or if they told the owners when mishaps happen. They answered NO to both. My dad then went up to pet styles and demanded answers & their only response was to call the police. Before this, Bella was the sweetest + spunkiest dog to ever have existed. She loves without limits, didn't know there was ever such a thing as too many puppy kisses, and played for hours. Now, Bella is so traumatized that she is refusing to eat, go potty, or even walk. We have to hold her 24/7 otherwise she cries to most heart wrenching cry I've ever heard. read more

This is the second time I've used PetStyles to groom my dog. And this is the second time that I've been completely happy with the results. I used to take her to PetCo or PetSmart and though the quality of their work was good, they kept getting more and more expensive. I had been asking around to get some recommendations from others with dogs and PetStyles name came up a couple of times. I gave them a try and kissed PetCo goodbye. It's a bit of a drive for me but worth the extra effort. Drop the dog off in the morning and pick her up in the afternoon.. Looks great. And they were about $20.00 less than what I had been paying. Completely disgusted with this business. Dropped of my little one and big boy at 7:30 in the morning and wasn't able to pick her until 6:30 in the afternoon. My mom did me the favor of picking her up for me, after coming home from work I noticed that first of all her haircut was all wrong which was the least of my worries after noticing two hotties scars on her eye area. When my doggies came back home they drank water as if they've never had water in days. The big guy was also cut incorrectly as I asked for a full even shave. The entrance of the store is smelly and the floors and everything else is very dirty. The customer service is terrible. My mom couldn't pick them up at 5 like they said because apparently they "save the big dogs for last"... so what they mean to say is my baby is just in a cage for ten hours and is worked on at 5??? When you first walk in, you immediately smell a strong odor of cigarettes, dog urine and feces or throw up- granted the employee mentioned a woman was there moments before that smelled like smoke but I didn't see anyone come out for 10 min when I arrived or left. You can see the place has obviously not been swept, or cleaned properly in a while. The employees could improve on their professional appearance. Could wear company shirts or something. I called and mentioned the offer online and the employee did not even acknowledge my request. And when I presented my shot records because of being a first timer, the sign in process seemed to take a little longer than it should've. I even offered to help write the information down of the card since she was just copying their info, just because it was so long. There is a window to look into the back where the kennels are kept and it has been covered so you can't look into it. I got a glimpse of the room through the door opening when they took my babies back, but all I could see was a wall they had to go around to get to the kennels, so there was no way to see what was going on back there. That didn't sit well with me personally. I asked and they've been they're for 15 years so they've had plenty of time to upgrade the place. They seem nice and my babies looked great when I picked them up and 6:15. but I'm not sure if I'd go back considering the state of the building and the slight shadiness. read more

We have been using Pet Styles as our dog groomer for 10 years out of location convenience. Over the years we have overlooked issues such as: At our very first visit the front desk person brought us out the wrong dog at pick up and tried to tell us that that was in fact our dog. Many times our dog's hair was uneven or choppy. Our dog was nicked with the clippers near her eye creating a small wound. During another pick up we arrived at 5:30 (the time we were told to pick up) to find the lights off and door locked. When I called them I was told that they thought all the dogs had been picked up - luckily they did not leave for the night and we were able to get our dog. Over the past few visits there has been a noticeable decline in cleanliness of the front lobby and a strong urine odor. One morning at drop off our dog had a #2 accident on the floor which I picked up and bagged, asked the front desk for a Clorox wipe to clean it up - she told me she would take care of it and when we came back later that evening to pick up the smudge mark was still there. Last Saturday was our absolute last visit. We dropped our dog off at 9 a.m. for a full grooming, cut, wash, etc. and were told pick up would be at 6 p.m. We arrived at 6 p.m., paid and waited for our dog for 1 hour. We were consistently being told "we are bringing your dog out next, sorry for the wait" until I finally asked why it had taken 10 hours to groom our dog? 10 hours for our dog being caged and waiting. I was then told that "Saturday is their busy day so if we could bring her on Tuesdays or Thursdays that would be better" and was given a free bath coupon. It seems that they are taking on more than they can handle on Saturdays and may need to consider bringing on another groomer and someone to clean their front lobby. read more

This was the first time I used PetStyles. This is the only groomer in town that won't sedate cats, and that was an absolute necessity for me. My poor cat is long haired and had several large mats in his undercoat that needed to come out. I brought him in at 7am and the groomer told me right then that he would need to be shaved. I was able to pick up my baby at 5:30 the same day, and my cat looked like he felt so much more comfortable! He was indeed shaved, and his claws were trimmed as well. For all that, it was about $78. Pricy for some, but again, no sedation and they shaved a large, long haired cat and boarded him for almost a full day. Plus, he smelled wonderful!! I'll be going back for sure. (I've attached a picture of my cat before and after. While it might not be your "thing", my cat had matted fur, and it's about to get really hot here. I would rate zero stars if I could. I was a first time customer and dropped my dog off for a haircut at 8am. I was told he would be ready at 5pm and that they would give me a call if he was ready sooner. I ran errands all day prepping for the holidays, and at 630, realized that I never got a call. I immediately, frantically called the salon to tell them I was on the way to get my dog. I called multiple times on the way and got no answer, and arrived to find the store closed for the day. As a first time customer, I should have taken better note of what time they closed, but their hours were not posted on the door and I was not told their closing time when I dropped him off that morning. I was heartbroken. I didn't know where my dog was, but I assumed he was kenneled in the back of the shop and I didn't receive so much as a phone call that he would have to stay the evening. I returned the next day as soon as they opened. When I tried to pick up my dog, I was told I'd need to pay an additional boarding fee and that my dog had been sent home with the owner the night before. I told them that i wasn't comfortable paying the boarding fee as I never received a call that he was ready to be picked up or that they were closing for the evening. When I asked if I could speak to the owner, I was told that I was not allowed to. The receptionist said they didn't call because they were so busy, and that they left work at 640. I had tried calling the day before at 630. I was so upset that I left the store without my dog in order to be able to speak to the owner when she returned. A few hours later, I received a very hostile call that the owner wouldn't be coming back, and that they would take legal action if I refused to pay the boarding fee. I returned to the shop to pick up my dog and pulled up to see two of the employees having a smoke break. Not that that's inherently bad, but I imagine that if you can take smoke breaks you can call customers to say that their dog can be picked up. I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy. read more

I have been taking my poodle to Pet Styles for 12yrs now and my previous poodle went too. They have always called me if he is ready early so I can pick up sooner. Today my husband took him in and was told he would be ready at 5.30pm we live 45min drive from there so went earlier but got there to find the store crowded with people to pick up their pets and 1hr 15mins later we got our dog by the time we got home we had been gone for over 3hrs. It was past time for the store to close and there were maybe 20 more people to pick up their dogs.Very frustrating and we should have at least been offered a discount for or troubles.They had obviously over booked groomings read more

I have taken my dog to Pet Styles about once a month for almost two years. For the first year, I loved bringing and picking up my pet to and from Pet Styles. In the last 8 months, I have seen the customer service and the overall quality of job decline significantly. In spite of the steady decline of professionalism in terms of rude employee behavior, complete failure meet the timing that they establish, and consistently not doing the job that I asked for, I kept returning -- hoping to once again to have the positive experience that we had when we first brought our pet. Unfortunately, the last two experiences have left me resolved never to return. Even after I called twice to confirm my appointment (once the week before and once the morning of before drop-off), I was notified an hour after dropping off my pet that she could actually not be seen that day, because they didn't have enough groomers. No one even attempted to make it right or apologize after their over-sight. Giving them one last good-faith try, I dropped her off the next week with clear instructions as to what the grooming should be. When I got there at my pick-up time, my pet wasn't ready, her grooming was not what I had asked for, employees spoke rudely, and didn't even fix it when it was clearly not what the order had indicated. It's too expensive to not have a positive experience. I'd try somewhere else. read more

Very unprofessional staff. I called to see if I'd be able to bring my emotional support dog to get groomed. Being that she is my emotionally support dog, I am unable to be without her for several hours at a time. Therefore I asked if I could simply make an appointment, have her groomed and then immediately returned back to me. The individual who answered the phone was super rude and unprofessional. Lacked empathy for my and my situation and offered no help. I was told that I could drop her off at 8am and pick her up at 2pm. How does something as simple as dog grooming take 6hours? I then asked if I could wait in my vehicle until the moment that they are ready to groom my dog, and then return her to me. I was told that their grooming services is a 8 hour long process. I'm confused. Then she suggested that I try a mobile groomer, who could possibly be more convenient for me. Now I'm not asking for anything unreasonable. But having to drop your emotional support dog off for EIGHT HOURS to be groomed is ridiculous. Especially when I expressed my issue. I would not recommend using services from a place that lack human decency and empathy. read more

Very poor customer service. I bring my dog here all time and never experienced an issue before concerning his appointments. I made an appointment for a bath and trim however the person who answered the phone only wrote down a bath. Once my husband picked up the dog we noticed a trim wasn't done. I immediately called back to see what happened and was told by the staff member who answered the phone the appointment wasn't taken down correctly to bring him back Tuesday morning free of charge. So today I get a call saying I have to pay the difference for a service that I was quoted for free because of the mistake on their end. The manager just kept arguing with me back and forth about the charge instead of apologizing for the mixup made by the staff. Instead she said my son should've known what the dog was getting. I believe your staff should be more efficient when taking down appointments. What's the purpose of the dog card if you're not taking down accurate information. Fifth update: if you have a dispute with this groomers that involves medical attention they will only refund the treatments they found applicable and not the whole amount OR you can choose to refund your service(which will typically be less than your vet bill) so you will not get a refund on your services even when they do nothing for your pet, and i was informed, by staff, their flea dip does not actually kill fleas but is essentially just a bath to wash them off so do not waste your money like i did when i was lead to believe they would be defleaing my cats which of course did not take and 6 months later i am still fighting to get rid of them Fourth update: 6mo later i am able to obtain and deliver a official document stating fault of pet styles but while attempting to get some questions answered over the phone both the owner and its staff displayed poor communication skills and would not let me finish sentences and kept interrupting, needless to say i didnt get the information i really needed and just ended up hanging up. Just dont deal with these clowns. THIRD UPDATE: after calling about needing to see the vet after our visit and asking what can be done after still finding fleas after getting a flea dip, which they took no fault for and blamed me for not cleaning which i information them i treated all of my house and my car, they said they will only give you 7 days from the initial visit to get my cats re bathed meaning by time i contacted them i was past the unadvertised refund policy and they gave me a "extra day" to come in which i wont be able to make due to my schedule. Do not go here if you want your money to actually go towards making your pets happy instead of getting juiced by these jokes. First and last time customer. First big warning was instead of allowing me to take my 3 cats to my car one by one with a borrowed carrier the "cat guru" crammed them all into one medium sized carrier and one of them ended up freaking out and peed in the carrier from it and they all ended up soaked in pee by time i got to the car so i had to take them back inside to get them rewashed, at first i sympathized because the line was getting long and im sure they just didnt have time to let me get them one by one, even though thats what i ended up having to do to take them back to the car the 2nd time, but then i noticed my cats being extremely distant which is not normal because they are usually very social and one cat complete stopped allowing me to touch his paws. On closer examination i found that their nails were completely shattered, some are damaged and are causing pain, and some were not even cut down compared to others which showed they did not handle my animal properly and forced them through the treatment anyways resulting in a very peeved cat. I chose this groomer because they did not use anesthesia, but if i knew roughly handling my pets was the alternative i would have never brought them here to begin with. May be good for dogs since there are obviously some happy customers but dont bring your cat here. Update: i also paid for all of my cats to get a flea dip and while some are gone im still finding fleas. Definitely $170 wasted read more

If I could give ZERO stars to this place I would. Let me start by saying my 6 year old miniature yorkie is groomed regularly (elsewhere) and LOVES going to the groomer. I made the mistake of bringing her here to be groomed. This was her first visit here. I walked in to a nice store and was assured she would be taken good care of. They kept her ALL day. I dropped her off at 8 am, still hadn't received a call by 4 so I called to ask if she was done being groomed. No she wasn't. Waited an hour, still no call to notify me she was ready to be picked up. She vomited the days to follow her visit. I took her to the vet. After examination, blood work, and an injection for nausea the vet told me it appeared my poor dog was stressed from the groomer. 250 dollars later I call the groomer to make them aware of what happened. They could not have cared less. The woman on the phone said it wasn't their fault and "that's an interesting assumption the vet made." Moral of the story, DO NOT BRING YOUR ANIMAL TO THIS TERRIBLE PLACE. read more

I left my 3 dogs at 820 am Saturday and was not able to pick them up till a quarter to 7pm.arived to pick them up at 5pm ,after I called and was told to come at 5pm,the front desk lady-said oh no-they won't be ready until 6.the salon was packed with a line leading out to the door.not enough help,way overbooked. Several people were brought out the wrong dogs .I witnessed this at least three times.lots of people had to wait-at 7pm-told their dogs weren't ready.I finally lost my temper and told the attendant to bring my dogs,ready or not..then my 3 were brought out-ready. the disorganization was APPALLING.the groomin was fine-but the discourtesy and the massive inefficiency of the business means I will never take my dogs there again.catherine b read more
