Tried them out for the first time, they were all so nice and talked me through everything / the process of what they were going to do and what was included in my package. I dropped her (Kiki) off and they told me it would be a couple hours and that they would send me a text 20 min before she was ready. They sent me a txt letting me know she was almost ready and asked for an eta for pick up. I came to pick her up and she smelt so good! I can not say enough about how much we love Pet Stylista! We have been taking our adorable pug, Kenji, here for years now. We've referred numerous friends and their furry companions and nobody has ever been disappointed. We take our lil guy for a spa day at pet Stylista at least once a month. Not being biased or anything but we have an adorably sweet and well behaved dog. The report cards we get from PS prove that sentiment. We love how amazing he looks every time we pick him up. First time taking my 14 y/o dog to the groomers after YEARS! He had a horrible experience once somewhere else that traumatized him. From there, we had to get him sedated every 3 months or so to get a full body shave at the vet. Now that he's a lot older and less aggressive, we decided to give it another try. I did research on different groomers in the Sacramento area that specialized in taking care of pets that might have some behavioral issues, and this place popped up with great reviews. Upon walking in, we were greeted by Nataly who stated that she was in charge of grooming my dog. We were welcomed with warmth and reassurance, which I appreciated greatly. We went in for a Pet Plus Sanitary shave for now to see how well my dog would do before adding any other services they offered. It was a quick drop-off that took less than 30 mins! Nataly stated that he didn't need any special handling for this session and that he did great, which made me feel so good, as well as my dog, I'm sure! So far, I appreciate the kind words Nataly shared with me. Coming from situations where other groomers were a bit rude towards my dog and I, it made me feel so comfortable and confident in their professionalism. I sought out Natalie after she had left Petco in Davis because she's super talented and attentive to my pup. I ended up finding her at Pet Stylista and I'm so happy I did because my pup's fur has been in rough shape since taking her to other places. It was my first time at pet Stylista and they gave me a goodie bag with treats, info on dog safety and grooming, and a report card! They also let the pups roam after they're done with grooming which I love! Although my pup was leashed near the back since she kept trying to escape through the front gate haha! I'm grateful they ended up leashing her since she tends to be an escape artist/ thinks she can go home with anyone. That's awesome that that have that safety feature in place. When originally calling Pet Stylista, I was told on an automated voice message that they weren't accepting new clients and the waitlist was 4 months out. Couple hours later, I received a call stating that they had a cancellation and my pup was seen the very next day! Woo-hoo! Selia, our pet stylista did an amazing job on our fur baby boy. His hair was evenly shaved and the hair between his paws also received some love. You can tell Selia pays attention to detail. When he was done, we received a report card on how he did during his visit. Everyone loved him. After we picked him up, they even sent photos from a photo shoot (peep my pictures)! I have been coming here for...at least 3-4 years?! They are all so kind and sweet and caring and my baby Beau is THE softest silkiest boy in town after his appointments. Before I started taking him here, I took him to Petco or Petsmart (can't remember which) to get a sanitary trim-- because nobody likes dingleberries, obviously. And when I picked him up, Petco/Petsmart had just shaved a PERFECT square around his b-hole. It was hilarious, but they didn't do ANY other trimming or grooming so it wasn't super effective.
