Rickey was so good with my English Bulldog. I always like to do mobile grooming for her cause of her breathing problems. I was a new client, he scheduled me out for about a month and kept in constant communication to remind me about my appointment. He even was able to get me in a day earlier than scheduled. He is very personable and was so good with my baby Duchess! He even gave her a healthy treat when they were done. She is so shiny and soft. And he does cats too! Ricky is the puuuuuurrrrfect groomer for my 10 year old Chihuahua Leroy. Ricky bathes my next door neighbors dog before he comes to my home & as soon as my Leroy sees his grooming truck he gets so excited & just sits on the front porch in anticipation. Once he sees Ricky he goes ballistic with his tail wags & dance. When I open the gate he falls to the ground belly up for rubs & hugs. I've used Ricky for 13 years as I had another Chihuahua, Pumpkin, before I got Leroy Oct. 11th, 2017. Ricky came on time, was very responsive via text, and squeezed me in to his jam-packed schedule. He is absolutely 100% gentle and knowledgable to work with my Frenchie who historically has hated groomers. Ricky was kind, attentive, and knew exactly how to clean his ears, paws, teeth etc without making Bruno uncomfortable or vocal. Rickys mobile grooming deserves 10 stars! By far the best groomers and very accommodating with hours available (6am appointment before I headed to work). We have a Frenchie that is deaf and anytime we took him to a groomer they just could not/did not want to deal with him and our Frenchie was always frantic when we picked him up... until we found Rickys mobile grooming! He's prompt, he's NOT overpriced considering he comes to you, his truck is totally self-sufficient and awesome, and he does whatever you ask him to do just the way you want. Most excellent! Rick. He arrives on time and has an affinity with furry babies. My three furry loves were nervous and don't take kindly to new males around me. They know my daddy and son, that's about it. Anyhow, Rick gets on his hunches and while I hold each furry baby in my lap, he talks endearingly to the baby. Each baby receives tender care, reassurance and kindness. I highly recommend Ricky's Mobile Grooming. Ricky has been grooming our pets for years. Though now we have short haired chihuahuas it wasn't til recently I needed him for my long haired Chi. He is excellent . Though not taking any new clients , he will ofcourse see us because we are already established clients. I have recently heard from my friend her experience with another mobile groomer who sounded very unprofessional and flaky so I am blessed to have Ricky who is excellent with our pets be our family groomer. His rates are fare . Quality of service is awesome and he does not need to plug in like some other mobile groomers. If he is your groomer , hold onto him because he is a keeper. If your not a client maybe see if he has any openings but good luck cause he is popular. read more

I rarely rate anything, but felt compelled to share this experience. I was in search of a new dog groomer and was leveraging the Yelp app to get a quote to help find one. Most instances, this has been highly useful and a successful feature and experience. Somehow, in this case, I was suppose to use my ESP and know to call to hear the voice message from this company where they share they are not accepting new clients. Why have your business as an option for new service, if you are fully booked and not accepting new clients. Owner was rude in text responses when I suggested considering pulling their company from the new service/get a quote feature. They are wasting people's timing and it is a frustrating experience to find out a company is not even considering new clients but part of this YELP feature. Even if that is not an option, how one responds back and the words used with a once interested consumer does matter. Professional customer service skills and general kindness is everything and this company needs help in this area. read more
