They do a great job, and best of all for me, you don't need to call ahead--except during the height of the season and right around the holidays. Otherwise, just show up right when they open, and they can almost always take you as a walk-in. It's so nice having one less thing I need to plan for in advance. I can just decide at the last minute and drop my dog off. I have an English Cocker Spaniel, but I don't go for the traditional Cocker Spaniel cut. I have them do a "puppy cut" for better snuggling. Though, as my baby is 14 years old, this haircut really accentuates her gray LOL.

My husband and I adopted an eight-year-old rescue little poodle who's in terrible condition and very timid so we were very concerned with who handled his grooming I forgot how I stumbled upon Amore but she did such a beautiful job on Max and was so patient with him it became a regular thing for her to pick him up and he would stay all day with her at the store and she would take her time grooming him so he wouldn't get upset or scared. Raquel helped us with our vision for a little Max. We just felt that he had been treated so horribly that we wanted him to have the best spa days and look fabulous when he left so we gave him a big mohawk and we would color it pet-safe colors According to whatever holiday was going on. And I developed quite an affection for Raquel. Raquel is a very rare person. You don't find people like her every day. She is pure at heart and will do anything to help an animal. Our max passed in 2022 six months later another poodle found its way to us along with a fox terrier a Pomeranian and my big dog Juliet who's 13 years old yesterday we went over to Amore and Raquel gave Juliet a mud bath for her skin and to help with her arthritis all the animals just really love her. They love the way she sings to them in Portuguese! She hugs them and kisses them and like I said she is pure of heart. I recommend her to all my friends and anyone who is looking for a kind, loving groomer that you can trust. I am so happy to say after all these years that I call Raquel my friend And I don't trust my dogs with anyone else. After we dropped off our dog off at 9am to do a surgery that was already done and had to be redone,…read morethey didn't actually do it until almost 4:00. The doctor seemed nice but made it seem like the surgery wasn't necessary--but why did he do it then if it wasn't? He should've called and said he felt it wasn't necessary. I would never force a doctor to do an unnerve surgery. Then they bring the dog out (it's now 5:00) and he's completely drugged up and unable to properly walk. We used this vet because he did the original surgery before we adopted our dog. But our vet always does surgeries in the morning to monitor them all day so when they go home they capable of walking and safe. We also found out they didn't give him any pain meds or anything to help keep him calm post surgery from the emergency vet we had to bring him to after his cone came off in the middle of the night since they didn't secure it properly and he rubbed his eye. Very disappointed. I would not recommend this place and I regret bringing him back to do the surgery. ETA: the cherry came back! I read the surgery has a 92% success rate. This vet did the surgery TWICE and FAILED. Do not go to this vet. You will regret it.

Absolutely traumatic experience for us, as I am sure for our pet. As we had called the day before stating we would be picking up on April 1st- it defies logic the staff wouldn't at least bathe our pet before pickup. This borders on pet abuse and neglect. We are appalled and thoroughly disgusted. Never again- Do your family pet and member of your family, DO NOT BOARD THEM HERE.
