She was great at introducing herself to our dog and when Maisy came back from her grooming she was happy and her cut was perfect. I think this is such a great service because in the past I would have to leave our dog at the groomers all day and she would come home very timid and stressed. If I could give them zero stars, I would…read more I took my Great Pyrenees to Pet Palace recently. She's been there before so we assumed we would get the same quality grooming service. When we picked her up, her fur was matted to the skin. I believe they didn't brush her properly and cage dried her. Not only that - there was also a cut behind her ear where they trimmed her hair. We gave them our number for the groomer to call us and they never did. We didn't receive any kind of explanation or a refund, which would have been the right thing to do. We ended up taking her to Moore's Mill Animal Hospital (which also has a grooming service) and they were able to get most of the mats out. Some of her hair had to be trimmed on her back. However, they were wonderful and we'll be taking her there from now on. I am livid. The lack of professionalism is appalling and I trusted them to take care of my dog. If they can't find a proper groomer or have better practices for caring for their dogs, then they don't need to be in business. It was a very horrible experience and I wouldn't recommend them to anyone.

I boarded my kitty for July 4th weekend; it was her first time being boarded. When I picked her up, she was skeletally thin, which I did not notice until I took her out of her carrier when I got home. Granted, she had lost a little bit of weight before I brought her for boarding, but not a noticeable amount. I had already planned on taking her to the vet as soon as I was back in town, but I was never notified during her time at Pet Palace that she was not eating (it was pretty obvious to me that she had not eaten those 4 days for her to be so skinny). I may have come back sooner to pick her up and take her to a vet or requested that someone drive her to a local vet at my expense. She ended up being diagnosed with Feline Infectious Peritonitis, which you may know is a fatal disease in cats. While I have been able to treat her for it, if we had known even a few days earlier, I would have been able to start treating her earlier, and she may not have been hospitalized for three days or needed a blood transfusion just a couple days after picking her up from Pet Palace. I am not blaming Pet Palace for giving her FIP; this isn't the case at all. I'm just really disappointed with the lack of communication and hope that this is not something that happens to any future kitty parent who boards with Pet Palace.

From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with warmness, they move you into a room quickly and tend to your pets with care. We have been so impressed with their communication practices, the friendliness and attentiveness of their staff, and their willingness and availability to get our pets in during periods of emergency. We have four dogs varying in age and range of needs and they are able to support each life stage. 100/10! I could not recommend Village Vet more!

I asked what happened and they made excuses that the the person who scheduled the home visit got sick, but nobody reached out to me. Finally they told me that they gave him to a white lady with kids over me. I inquired about adopting the dog before her and I have kids too. I don't know if it was a girl thing or black and white thing but I feel discriminated and that was cruel, heartless, uncaring, cutthroat and cold-hearted. I want everyone to know about this.
