Unfortunately, our most recent experience was very disappointing. One of our pugs had been suffering from diarrhea for three days, so we brought her in seeking medical attention. We were informed that no veterinarian was available at that time. When we asked when a doctor would be available, we were told there would be one in the office that afternoon, but there were no appointment slots available. We then asked about scheduling for the following week and were told there were no openings then either. She was very rude and inconsiderate of the situation. In addition, we noticed that the clinic has significantly increased its fees. According to the pricing posted on the door, a walk-in visit now costs $90.00, and several other fees have also increased. As longtime customers, this experience left us feeling that the focus has shifted more toward generating revenue than providing timely care and support for loyal clients and their beloved pets. When a pet is sick, owners want to feel confident that their veterinary clinic will do everything possible to help.

For weeks, the front staff neglected to send our dog's historical files to the insurance company, lying about the dates they sent them and telling us it was too much of a 'hassle' to fill out.When we physically carried our limp dog into the clinic today, the veterinarian looked at him, heard what her staff had put us through, and promised us on her word that she would accept our insurance form and treat him. Wiped out financially, I scraped together our last pennies, and my mother selflessly provided the remaining 20% co-pay ($125).Minutes after paying, the doctor called us back, sounding incredibly nervous. Totally understandable! After the vet left our room the vet tech came in with her as they were discharging us. The vet tech said that Dr.Cain should start us on a heart med. I was very concerned about this, as I had never heard of a vet tech prescribing medication. But the Dr.Cain just kind went along with it after the vet tech brought up that "it wouldn't hurt" Mind you I asked if I could record the findings as I tend to miss things that are said so I have ALL of this recorded. I called the next day after my dog had serious side effects and to to ask about the medication. The receptionist put me on hold and talked with the owner. She came back and said that Misty (the owner) said to NOT give that to him as it would not give us clear results when we got in with the cardiologist in a few weeks. I am very upset that my dog was given medication without a proper diagnosis. NOT EVEN DIAGNOSED AND THEY ARE GIVING OUT MEDS. In addition, the receptionist was very rude and unpleasant. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with warmness, they move you into a room quickly and tend to your pets with care.
