I brought in my dog Nugget to see if they had a…read moresupplement our vet recommended, and while they didn't have the supplement they had all the love and pets and treats for Nugget, she was so so happy! The employees were really kind and responsible; they checked with me to make sure she could have some treats and double checked whether she had any allergies. Even that simple question made me feel reassured that they had Nug's best interest in mind and are wary of all the worries a dog owner might have about their dog. Nugget was eating up the attention (and treats of course) and then one of the employees took us back to help pick out a toy for Nugs! They even brought us to the sale section and handed one down to her as she ran around like a maniac. She loves her new toy so much and it has held up really well even with her being a tough chewer who loves to rip open her toys and spill their fluff everywhere. Nugget is definitely still learning how to remain some semblance of calm in public places so I really appreciated how nice and understanding the employees were during our visit. We will definitely be coming back time and time again!

Knowing what I already knew about pet stores, I knew it would be overpriced and I knew it was a big risk but I figured ... at least im saving him from the pet store. Want to give a HUGE shout out to the ladies in the store that truly went above and beyond for helping me on this journey. Ciara, Laila, and Sarah were such a great team and worked very well together to make the experience better than I would've expected. Only big tip I have is to prob try to go without the starter kit. It comes with a crate and a shit ton of vitamins, some food and sprays for training even their own vet they use have stated the vitamins arent even that necessary. They say its " included " in the price but once you're cashing out the numbers start going all over the place. At this point though, I was far too invested in my connection with the puppy that I was willing to pay for whatever ( fyi the pup was about 5,600 , I put 2,500 down and financed the rest at a very high interest rate, only for the fact that I knew I will be paying it off early anyway ) was it the smartest financial decision to finance an overpriced puppy? Probably not. But the staff does a very good job actually under the circumstances and the puppies pretty much sell themselves. Once you lock in and fall in love with one of these babies , no going back. My little man is microchipped and has a lifetime warranty ( also you have to keep up with buying their shit every 3 months to stay on that warranty btw ) Lots of pros and cons to purchasing a puppy this way. We will absolutely be back for regular nail trims and any other grooming needs. They went above and beyond and gave me a heads up when another dog was coming through so I could distract my dog so she wouldn't react. That's what happened yesterday. Amongst all the snow, 3 young deer had found a spot underneath a tree where they could lay down for a bit and relax, protected from the wind while the snow was coming down all around them. I felt bad for them. With all the grass covered with snow and no leaves on the trees it had to be tough finding something to eat...either that or they were going to be eating all the bark off of the trees. Nope. There had to be something we could do to help. Enter Faler. Many people wouldn't know where to find a feed store if they needed to, but luckily after 10 years in 4-H I knew exactly where it was! I was originally going to get some alfalfa for them to graze on but the person working there suggested some cracked corn instead. I was able to buy a 50 pound bag of cracked corn for about $7 which is a good deal considering that a 4 pound bag of cracked corn at a pet store runs around $2 (to get 50 pounds that way it would cost $25!). I've also gotten rabbit finishing food (special food that is better nutritionally than the kind you get in the pet store) and cat food all in 50 pound bags which says you a lot of money and trips to the grocery store when you have hungry animals! They will also order in food if you have a special request and give them enough time to get it shipped in. So if you even find yourself in need of 50 pounds of animal feed, this is the place to go!

The first month was ok by month 6 Matt did a water change and introduced ick into my tank and killed all my fish but one and then tried to sell me more instead of replacing them. I read online that as long as you take all the fish out of your tank for 6 weeks ick will die out of your tank. I didn't need Matt for that six week period, I took my water weekly to Rivers to Reefs to get it tested and they even showehow to test my self,and my water conditions were perfect. My coral was thriving beautiful. I was a loyal customer to Matt and it was about time for a water change and I called Matt he came to my house looking high and changed my water and left everything dead. When I called him about it he said he could have been that my nitrates were to high, but when I told him I had the water tested just days before and the water conditions were perfect he said he may have put in fresh water but he was not going to replace any coral or any fish and if I want to get my money back I should I have my lawyer call him. I'm in the process of taking him to court now but the guy is a real loser, buying fish or coral from him or having him do you water changes is VERY HIGH RISK Updated this review in response to the scum bag store owner he never tried to mend the relationship, a law suit would never be involved if he just replaced everything he killed in my tank. DO NOT MAKE THE MISTAKE of doing business with Matt if you value your aquarium, I think he will kill everything in your tank, my tank was maintained by Matt and the picture you see is his REAL WORK. Asked if I could have a credit since I did not know they were having a sale. The owner refused to give me a credit saying "we don't know when we are going to have a sale until the day of" the worst customer service and I will NEVER by another product there. I recommend Coral Farms of New Albany and Rivers to Reefs in Gahanna as excellent alternatives. Guy may know his corals but he doesn't understand customer service!!!
