We will absolutely be back for regular nail trims and any other grooming needs. They went above and beyond and gave me a heads up when another dog was coming through so I could distract my dog so she wouldn't react. I was so nervous to bring my dog somewhere new and we had the best experience! I was also amazed to see how many simple ingredient food and treat options they had for my sensitive girl who has lots of allergies.

They were able to do all nails - he doesn't mind ears touched but forget about cleaning - usually need 3 people to hold him for anal gland expressions- groomer (Jordan) said he didn't even make a peep Also they don't use muzzles! Over the years, we have tolerated long appointment times, delayed pick-up times, and grooming services that are not differentiated from other local groomers. TODAY I waited for over 15 minutes to check my dog in! The receptionist inexplicably left while the groomer consulted with the customer ahead of me. When the groomer was done, she left me alone in the "waiting" room. The receptionist soon returned and could not find the appointment for my dog! I will NEVER pay their prices when customers are so taken for granted.

She was kind, patient, and really connected with my nervous guy. One thing that really struck me about StF is that they go out of their way for customers. While my dog was scheduled at large dog pricing based on his weight, she made it a point to downgrade him to medium when she saw him in person. When I asked if I could add on an additional service for an additional price, she told me they'd be happy to do it for no extra charge. They also text you pictures of your pet, which made my day. At my next visit, I was charged $78, which appears to include that $20 fee without any explanation beforehand. When I tried to ask about it, the front desk employee didn't address my concern directly and instead told the owner I was already disputing the charge. This was frustrating, especially since I hadn't even been informed what I was being charged for in the first place. Clear communication and transparency matter, especially with long-time customers. I trusted this business for years, so being treated this way felt dismissive and unprofessional.

My dog had two spinal surgeries so I wanted to make sure he wasn't placed in any kennel during his visit, the staff listened and were super up front and informative. They use a sort of play pen instead of cages/crates. They texted me a photo of a broken nail my dog had prior to the visit that I forgot to mention. Afterwards you get an entire report on how your pup did including a photo. Will absolutely be back and can't recommend them enough. Thank you Lexi and the entire staff!!

When I took my pup there recently to Whitney, he came back with a great cut but when we got home, he was shaking and pacing like he did when he was coming off of sedation from his teeth cleaning. He was so distraught and nervous, unlike any time I had picked him up before. he would not eat or drink and hardly wanted to go outside or play at all. I called TLC and the owner called me back and assured me they would check with Whitney to see if he was scared by another dog or something else. They never called me back after that, not even to check on my pup. I took him to the Shaggy Shack instead and explained what had happened at TLC. They said they had heard this from another client recently as well! And they also complained that they did not get a call back! Something strange is going on at this groomer. Proceed with caution!
