Had an amazing experience at the Spring Hill store today. McKenzie went above and beyond when she was helping me with the fish and aquarium plants. She was kind and informative and asked me if I needed help as soon as she saw me. There was also a gentleman that greeted us when we first went into the store. He was very kind and very friendly as well and I later found out that he is the owner. It was so nice to see an owner on the floor interacting with customers. I can't say enough nice things about the staff and the store. The fish seemed very healthy and very active, and the tanks were exceptionally clean. Before today, I wasn't even aware that this store was here and I am so thankful that they are and I will definitely be shopping here in the future. read more

My dog looks terrible. She is a malshi and I asked for a puppy cut. She is young and sometimes a little difficult but if you can't handle it don't do the job. Her ears were cut all the way to her cartledge. The groomer said she jumped and made her mess up one ear and then she had to cut the other to match. ​​She also blunt cut her tail. Never have I ever had a groomer do that. Her tail is cut straight! Can't wait for this to grow out. My poor baby! read more

The staff is both friendly & helpful, the store is clean, and with their sales you can get the best prices! I haven't used it yet but with the colder weather and having large dogs I will definitely try the dog washing station that so many have been raving about. his review is based solely on my personal experience. If you don't mind waiting 4 to 6 hours for small dog grooming, this place might work for you. Last year, I switched to a different groomer due to long delays. A few weeks ago, I decided to give it another try and called to see if they could squeeze in a quick bath for my dog. That visit went well, so I decided to book a full grooming appointment 2 weeks later. Unfortunately, the same issues resurfaced. Not only was there a long wait again, but I also had a disappointing interaction with the manager, who seemed more focused on defending their procedures than addressing my concerns. Starts to lecture me and talks condescendingly and being passive aggressive.She even implied that I was the problem for being upset, rather than acknowledging their operating procedures why they are having delay. In my opinion, a grooming appointment for a small dog should reasonably take 2 to 3 hours--not 4 to 5. It seems like overbooking and accepting walk-ins are leading to these delays, even when appointments are scheduled with adequate time based on the dog's size. Years ago I was a steady customer I had several large dogs and spend hundreds and hundreds dollars per month, literally. I had to return some of the canned food because the dog would not eat it. Cashier went wacko had to call a supervisor and they acted like I was robbing thought I was trying to get something for nothing and I don't remember the exact situation but that's all I remember. I do remember that it was disgusting to hold up a line that was literally wrapping around the store and at the time I had there store reward card and a military discount and the receipt and the credit card I paid with. Their behavior was disgusting and they were clearly uneducated and should not be dealing with the general public. In no way was I trying to get something for nothing but they did nothing to make the customer happy I even spoke to the owner on the phone, he said that's who he was anyway, and he did nothing to earn my business he said oh I'm sorry that happened and they should have handled it differently, and did nothing to win me back..like a gift card, something, I don't remember the exact details because it's been years and I never went back. read more

This is the best pet store I've ever been in, as soon as you walk in You're greeted , I'm there a lot , they know my name. Everybody is friendly and helpful. They carry your stuff to the car. While the people are nice and will even help load heavy items, they have a major sticking issue on items. Almost every time I go in there their Diamond Light food is out of stock. Also they give you a hard time if corporate sends you a coupon and either do not want to honor it or again do not have items in stock. On April 13th 2021, I visited the new Pet Supplies Plus Store. I found the store very clean, and was greeted by Christie the sales associate/cashier. She was very nice and helpful. I asked her about a car harness for my dog, she walked me over to the shelf and, and recommended it to me. I also purchased the Advantage K9 flea and tick medication. She also suggested the grooming done at the store and walked me over to the groomers so I could ask questions and make an appointment for my dog. Overall experience was excellent. Used to be a weekly customer... They don't honor their 14-day guaranteed fish exchange when they sold me a sick fish that died the very next day after getting it. Thinking back I remember all their yo-Yo loshes were bellies up when I got there. Then I was also being forced into buying one of their products or they wouldn't sell me any other fish that I was going to buy out of pocket to put in another tank. Why anyone would want to go back after that is beyond me. I learned my lesson and I'll just stick with Petco and Fosters Exotic supplies pet store. Worst experience ever on top of losing a fish. I bought a Pet Supplies Plus branded cat tree from this location a week ago. Took a few days to finally put it together. Discovered the main landing isn't secure and fell off, so I took it back for an even exchange. Had box and receipt. Manager looked at the damaged tree, rolled his eyes, said he'd have to "make a few calls," and walked off. I stood there confused over the apparent big deal, and the kind cashier said they should be able to take it back if "they can repair it & put it back on the shelf." Said they are independently franchised & they are picky about returns. She seemed almost embarrassed of her management, and was very apologetic. (((Is this why it broke so quickly? It had already been returned once? Definitely be cautious of products here & wary of them honoring return policies.))) Manager said he spoke with store owner who said she is out to dinner and needs to ask me questions about the exchange, so I should come back tomorrow. She refused to speak with me then, and on duty manager refused / was "unauthorized" make the exchange. I said I need this taken care of today & kept trying to get him to explain how this was an issue. He finally went to make another call. Came back and said now he's spoken to store manager & owner and I'd have to come back tomorrow. So now there's 2 people unwilling to talk to a customer, but also not allow an employee to authorize an exchange????? Was I angry? Yes. Was I right? Also yes. This is absurd. All I wanted was another exact same cat tree. In store manager kept saying "it isn't in returnable condition" because it's broken. This is exactly why it needs to be exchanged, right?! It's less than a week old. The receipt clearly says items are returnable within 30 days. I said if I boxed up the broken item you'd take it back, and then resell to an unsuspecting customer????? Wouldn't you rather know it's broken? He just stared at me. He finally refused again, and walked away from me. Left me standing at the checkout with my jaw dropped. I moved from Texas recently, and the Pet Supplies Plus there won me over with kindness. This location made me feel like some kind of criminal. I've never been treated so poorly over a return. And it was an exchange at that!!! It would have been 30 seconds of the store manager / owners' time versus the 2 hours out of 2 days it'll take me to come back twice. Customers' time must have no value. Store needs systems in place so that employees on shift can authorize returns (We're talking $60 after the coupon was used.) or needs to be available during store hours to handle personally. When competing with cheaper online stores, customer service is all that local places have left. This location has 100% lost track of that. UPDATE: I ended up deciding to drive to the next closest Pet Supplies Plus to see if they'd exchange it for me so I didn't have to deal with this store. EVEN THOUGH they are independently franchised the other store exchanged the tree no problem. Even when my receipt didn't scan in their system because it was a different store - they still put the customer first & got me a new cat tree. When assembling the second tree we noticed it has a sticker on it that specifically says "return for any reason within 30 days." Fast forward a few days.... New tree starts tilting & leaning at the same spot. We decide we will give the local store owner a chance to make it right, box up the tree, and head back to this store. The owner was there this time, he only wanted to inspect the tree to see what was wrong instead of first apologizing or addressing the last visit. As if how the tree was broken would determine if it was ok to treat us badly or not. (Spoiler alert: he still treated us poorly.) He kept telling us it's not unreasonable for a customer to have to come TWICE solely so he can inspect a return. EVEN THOUGH THE STORE BRANDED PRODUCT SAYS YOU CAN RETURN FOR ANY REASON on the box and item. He can not seem to understandable how his unconventional return policies are wasting people's time & is very defensive and rude. After insulting us, insinuating I'm only trying to spread social media lies, & refusing to refund unless my husband left the store, he did refund the tree. When I told him how the other store helped me & was far superior at customer service he only wanted to discuss how the other store had his broken cat tree, and he now has their broken one. And again accused me of being dishonest because it wasn't "the same" damage. He just... Does. Not. Get. It. read more

If I like to feed my dogs Purina Pro Plan canned complete essentials and You charged $2.98 a can yet Petsmart, Petco and Chewy all charge same $2.45 a can. So I go to Pet supplies plus and they are okay with price matching after I go on internet in store and find every flavor. Store owner John will not allow you to wash your dogs in his store if you did not purchase the 5 wash card at his store. I bought this card at another Petsplus store in NC. I washed one time there and one time here, but today John said no. His employee signed my card the last time, but his answer was she made a mistake. Ok John you just lost a good customer forever. By the way he is increasing the wash card to $40 instead of $25. Bad customer service. read more

On 9/10, we purchased a dog pen for $110 for a new puppy we got. Unfortunately, our dog was able to climb it, so we attempted a standard return for refund on 9/29. Destiny, the Store Manager refused to give us a refund because the box was open. She offered a store credit in which we were not interested in. She said their store policy is no refunds on open boxes, however that is not posted anywhere. She claimed they were not able to determine the condition of the pen even though the box was open. Absolutely will not be returning, and will definitely be in touch with corporate in the morning. read more

Was a long time customer spending hundreds of dollars per month. I purchased a Redford their brand, dog food my dogs would not eat the ones with quinoa in it, so I wanted to exchange it for the same food only in a stew which the dogs would eat. I don't mind paying the difference in the two foods. But with the rude manager Felicia did was refund me the sale price that I purchased it at and then charge me the new price which is almost double what I had paid. I guess due to everything rising but this is not fair I should have paid the difference between the pate and the stew. All in all I was done out of about $13 was in the store with this hassle of the return over an hour online then trying to figure out the problem. I spoke to the owner the next day he did nothing. He did not try to compensate me for my trouble and give me an incentive to keep shopping there so now I go to his competitors and spend hundreds per month there. His loss!
