I had a session with Michelle who did an amazing job with my bichon frise. My dog's round hair cut came out perfectly and we didn't have to do any touchups at home ourselves (my family has a very keen eye for my dog's haircut). My dog has a lot of allergies so I told them not to give her any treats. You are able to bring your own treats for them to give your dog which I'll do next time. They do the intake and payment outside and I love the report card they give you at the end. Sometimes grooming is like a black hole and you wonder how it went so I thought the report card is an adorable and nice touch. I paid around $110-120 before tip which included an add on for hypoallergenic shampoo. I thought this was really reasonable especially since they take care of your dog for around 5 hours so it's essentially grooming and daycare together.

Half of the stores care pet supplies: shampoo, food, snacks and seems like winter boots and sweaters are hot items for this cold and snowy season. The whole walls of over 50 different style and sizes to choice from... and those cute boots... dogs are into shoes too I guess!! Chinese-Crested/Chihuahua mix and develops a few matted clumps that can look unkempt. Our dog is a seriously nervous, distrustful guy, as well, and requires the most gentle, patient treatment. I stayed around to watch how the groomer dealt with him just because I half-expected to end up aborting the mission. Long story short, Benji loved the experience and only cried during the hair-drying part. After it was all done and we were out walking around the city, we have never had so many compliments on his appearance. I have referred tons of strangers to the Groom Room based on our positive experience there.
