Petals & Pollen creates the most stunning, fresh flower bouquets - hands down! I first discovered…read moretheir flowers at Goldleaf Coffee (for a great price, pay via Venmo so it's super easy, grab and go) Every time I see a new drop, I can't resist grabbing a bouquet. My friends and I even send each other weekly photos when a fresh batch arrives because they're just that gorgeous. For my birthday on January 28th, my husband surprised me with a fresh bouquet, and unbelievably, it still looked amazing on February 20th. Whether I need a quick gift, a little pick-me-up for a friend, or just something to brighten my space, this is my go-to. Their flowers are consistently the freshest in the city, and you can truly tell the love and artistry that goes into every single bouquet. If you haven't treated yourself (or someone else) to Petals & Pollen yet, you're missing out!

Shannon is incredibly creative and intuitive; she took my ideas and elevated them into something better than I could have imagined. The bouquets were absolutely stunning--they featured unique florals I had never even seen before! Everyone was asking about them. The table centerpieces were exactly what I wanted and perfectly complemented the estate's vibe. Beyond her talent, Shannon is so easy to talk to and work with, making the entire process stress-free. If you want a florist who truly listens and delivers magic, hire Shannon!

McNamara Florist - Beautiful arrangement!! My sister loved it. So many different kinds of flowers. Great customer service too.

While I've long been familiar with McNamara Florist, I was wheeling around the Glendale area today…read moreand decided to give this location a visit given I knew they'd be all decked out for the holidays. McNamara Florist was started in Indy in 1954 and has eight retail locations in Central Indiana along with a greenhouse/nursery in the Fort Wayne area. Not so long ago, McNamara relocated their main headquarters back to Indy from Fishers. It's now located on the near-eastside of Indy in an area that is definitely getting a sense of renewal. While McNamara is local, it definitely has a national reputation. They offer a variety of flowers, plants, home decor, and delivery options. They were definitely decked out for the holidays with a festive array of decorations, plants, etc. This location is actually on East 62nd Street and it's toward the back of Glendale town Center in the same area as the Huntington Learning Center and Jet's Pizza. Parking is available with accessible options and appropriate curb cuts. I happened to be parked at Target and visited several businesses in this strip center with no difficulty as a wheelchair user. When I arrived, I was the only customer. That changed pretty quickly. Employees were responsive and friendly - a bit hovering but not overwhelming. If I have one beef here, and it's pretty common during the holidays, it's that accessibility definitely was a bit lacking in-store. While I'd imagine they don't get a ton of wheelchair users, I'd think anyone with mobility issues might struggle in here. They have some high-end glass Christmas trees that I was terrified I was going to tip over (I didn't). There were ultimately places I wanted to get to that I simply couldn't. However, I'd say I could get to about 75% of the story without too much difficulty. The store was definitely warm and inviting with a festive spirit and light holiday music in the background. Pricing was clearly marked on nearly every item and while this is what I'd consider to be a more premium florist, it's definitely got stuff in a variety of price ranges. I like that they offer plant and flower subscriptions and McNamara is for sure an Indiana success story when it comes to plants and flowers. I sometimes forget it's here, however, this visit was a solid reminder to consider McNamara the next time I need flowers.
