Based on other reviews, maybe spring is not the right time to visit - maybe I'll try back in the fall when there are apples. Instead of a helpful or informative response, I was met with a dismissive tone and a lack of willingness to engage in the conversation. I completely understand that businesses may not want to share sourcing details, but the way it was communicated came across as unnecessarily guarded and unwelcoming. As a customer who is genuinely interested in plants and learning more, I expected a more respectful and informative interaction. There is a big difference between setting boundaries and making customers feel shut down. Unfortunately, this experience felt more like the latter. I hope this is something that can be improved, because customer interaction matters just as much as the products being sold.

Technically, the tree was not dead, however, the staff stood behind their 2 year warranty promise and replaced my tree. Sean and Bill were such a pleasure to work with today. They made me feel better about the situation, and are even going to repot the tree I uprooted. I'm 45 minutes away from Northridge, and I would travel even farther to do business with them again. I can't say enough positive things about the staff here at Northridge. Thank you for being so kind to me; it truly made my day better.

So I looked up a local nursery near West Seneca and found Northridge nursery. I'm so glad I came here! Their herbs were so much bigger and healthy looking. I got 2 Basil, 2 cilantro, 1 parsley, 1 oregano, 1 chives and 1 dill - all 5 dollars each. They also had a better deal on putting soil than Home Depot did. I have a really nice greenhouse and a wide variety of flowers and shrubs. Will definitely be coming back here!

I know I can always find a quality gift item for my garden-loving friends, a unique perennial for that odd spot in the yard, or a funky planter to make the perfect table setting. My most recent garden problem was finding a nicely shredded mulch that didn't leave behind big chunks at the end of each growing season. Lavocat's to the rescue! They have a wonderful hardwood fine-shredded mulch that's just perfect. If you're like me, and have a smaller garden - bagged mulch is what we need - whole truck loads just don't work. The knowledgeable and very helpful staff at Lavocat's will load your vehicle and you'll be very pleased with the results in your garden.

Locally owned gardening/plant shop that has a fantastic assortment of seasonal plants, including things for outdoor gardening, as well as indoor houseplants. All of the house plants I've gotten from here are absolutely thriving, and are probably the healthiest ones I own. They have a good variety of house plants, and they typically get different ones coming in every couple of weeks. There's a section toward the back with a huge assortment of baby houseplants, and they always typically have your standard Pothos, Monstera, Prayer Plants, Alocasia, and string-type house plants. In addition to the plants, they also have a good variety of soil and pots to re-pot your plants, as well as a ton of outdoor garden decor in the gift shop area of the greenhouse. They also have locally-themed decor from local artists, and I've even gotten a vintage Buffalo Bills helmet planter from here. I would definitely say this is the place to check out if you're just getting in to house plants! The staff here is always super friendly and willing to talk plants, and help you find something to best suit your needs.

They had a good selection of Marigolds too. It was our first time here and we were so impressed with their selection of flowers! They had a ton, and it was clear that flowers are their speciality.
