I went to the store to get some ideas for arrangements, the lady I was dealing with was nice and was very helpful. When I went back I dealt with the owner Angie, and this was another story! The owner was rude and actually yelled at me! I was asking her about the packages of flowers they provide for Weddings. I asked to add flowers as some of the ones that were in the package were ones that I though may need more flowers to complement them. She actually told me I knew nothing about flowers and this was the package, no flowers could be added. She them began asking me about table arrangements and I told her I did not know what I was going to do as of yet, Maybe flowers, candles, and not sure where I would get the flowers from (at this point she lost my business) She then began to yell/scream at me and told me to get out of her store! How dare I not want her flowers as centerpieces! She then ripped up the semi contract we had and through it in the garbage, I was appalled! I walked out and never went back! I later found a great flower shop and had beautiful flowers for my Wedding, I actually told this flower shop about my horrible experience. She actually told me she has had many people complain about this flower shop and that although the shop has many nice trinkets the customer service and "brown flowers" you receive are not worth it. I was also told the owner is actually Ralph Klein's daughter....makes sense! Don't choose Petals on the trail. EVER! read more

My boss got a $100 arrangement for her wedding anniversary. Bright red, dark red, mauve and light pink (miniature) roses cut short and crammed in a vase. There was a visible hole in the top were you could look down into the hideous vase below. It was not a professional job by any standard. The colors did not go together and it was just sad looking. I ordered 2 Teleflora arrangements and BOTH arrangements: were not even close to resembling their online photos; did not include those flowers listed in their descriptions; were shorted on the quality AND quantity of flowers that each arrangement was supposed to contain (therefore I was overcharged); were full of ugly greenery in lieu of the requisite number of flowers shown in online photos; and were in cheap plastic vases, not glass as stated in the product descriptions. The owner's reply to my complaint: 'Our substitution policy states that there is no guarantee you will get what you ordered.' No apology, no redress. I will never do business with them again and strongly suggest that others heed my warning and take their business elsewhere. read more

BUYER BEWARE!! Boy do I wish I'd have checked more reviews on this place before I gave them my money! I've shopped here before, and all is good...until this last time was a awful. I showed them a picture of what I wanted, the staff who took my order was fantastic (I've dealt with her before & she's always been awesome) - she even wrote "no substitutions; customer will wait for exact match". However, the florist made up my arrangement with the wrong colored flowers (pink & white instead of cream & burgundy). I was told by the staff I could get a refund, but the owner/florist later refused. Her exact words to me were "BUYER BEWARE - CALL THE POLICE IF YOU DON'T LIKE IT". I personally feel reviews to help the next poor soul before they make the same mistake I did are more effective. So, BUYER BEWARE!! I called to inquire about purchasing flowers for my wedding. The owner advised me they were very busy and to call back in a week. I did as she asked... A week later gave her another call to arrange a time to come in and pay/pick up. She was all for it until I asked to come by at 5:30... she said that SHE wasn't going to stay to meet with me (okay, fine, pass me to another employee) and that "I don't make much money off flower orders anyways." I said "would you prefer I went with a different company?" She advised me "yes. Because I'm not working late for you"... The 5:30 requested time was WELL within the hours of operation. I called Angie last week to book a time to consult to order in fresh cut flowers. She told me she was busy and to call the next week to book a time, I asked evenings or weekends, she confirmed that those would work. I called back to pick a time and she quite rudely told me she didn't want to waste time meeting with me to order in flowers as she wouldn't make money on it and she refuses to waste her time to meet with me. This was after she had said yes to booking a meeting. I would not recommend this place, as she didn't want to waste her time meeting with me, yet she completely wasted my time telling me she would order in flowers for me. She also told me her company is closed Saturdays, yet their hours on Saturday is 10-6. read more

Ordered a luxurious indulgence - deluxe - basket for a 35 year anniversary gift for friend, and they recieved something that was not close to resembling what I ordered for them. This company is a rip off and I don't recommend anyone to this business. When I contacted them, they said the only way to get a refund is to bring back the basket. So they want me to go to my friends home, and ask them to give me back my gift so that I can get a refund. Very poor customer service on their part. I do not often write bad reviews but this experience was unbelievable! I wish there was a lower rating then one star. I had placed an order for an arrangement to be delivered to my mother-in-law for her birthday at work. I had placed the order online with my credit card and billing address. After placing the order I realized my billing postal code was wrong so it would be declined. Angie Klein who I believe is the owner, emailed me back about it not going through so I mentioned to her that my billing address was wrong. She responded saying "you do not understand. Your card was DECLINED". Very rude right off the bat. I kept my cool and carried on with the order (I should've stopped right there). On the delivery day, the driver had contacted my mother-in-law's work and told her there was a delivery for her and asked how long she will be at work for. I have never had any deliveries like this contact me to let me know to expect a surprise delivery even though the owner said "Everyone" does it. Which is a complete BS! Even though the driver had contacted her, it still failed to deliver on time and my mother-in-law was off the next day. I went to her work to pick it up so I could deliver it myself. I understand perhaps they can't guarantee delivery but after confirming the time, they still failed to deliver it. Whats the point in getting deliveries of flowers after the fact? Also, the arrangement did not include the birthday wish I requested and my name. When I called the owner, she right away started yelling at me without listening to what I had to say and told me she doesn't need my business (she gets enough) and that she will send her driver to pick up the delivery and is prepared to issue my refund. So obviously okay with that but I requested that my refund be issued prior to pickup of the arrangement. She issued the refund and sent me a copy of my receipt but it was SOMEONE ELSE'S refund receipt! What a complete violation of privacy - in any event, she is completely rude and has no sense of customer service whatsoever. Those of you who got a decent service from her, good for you, but the way I was treated is completely unacceptable. I am sure she's treated others this way, those reviews just did not make into yelp. P.S. the flower arrangement wasn't according to the picture either but this issue became so insignificant compared to her horrible treatment towards me. read more

Petals On the Trail may be the most UNPROFESSIONAL flower shop and business EVER!!! First and foremost, there is absolutely NO GUARANTEE THAT YOU WILL GET WHAT YOU HAVE ORDERED. My friend was getting married and had pre-ordered specific arrangements with respect to her bouquets and corsages. For the bride's bouquet, the owner (Angie) had decided for herself that she was going to replace the white roses for another flower (her explanation to me is that she thought the roses were too yellow...however, she had also mentioned to the bride how she had used them in someone else's order). She did not run this by the bride at all before doing so, but told her matter of factly how the bouquet was going to be; also,keep in mind that she relayed this information the day before the wedding. When speaking to the bride and then later to myself (the bride's Maid of Honor), she was completely unapologetic. There was absolutely NO ACCOUNTIBILTIY on her part. She just kept talking over me saying how she felt the bouquet looked better this way, which completly defeats the point (it's not what was ordered!!). During our conversation I did not raise my voice once but kept everything very professional. At one point during our conversation, I had to stop Angie and tell her how I felt she was being defensive and unprofessional. I had asked her if she had planned to give the bride any sort of discount. Her answer was initially NO, and in fact she was going to charge the bride more for the flowers she had ended up using to compensate for her own mistake!! I managed to get her to take a whopping $12 off the bouquet- big deal. However, I had settled for that as at least it was something. BUT WAIT...THATS NOT ALL FOLKS... On the day of the wedding, the CORSAGES WERE WRONG as they were missing a second flower (corsages are only so big...so a missing flower is kind of a big deal...and do I need to point out... they were pre-ordered and paid for? My girlfriend had later called Angie to tell her how unhappy she was and how she felt she should not have to pay for the full price (minus the huge 12 dollar discount of course) of her flowers. At no time did my friend raise her voice. NOW THIS IS THE WORST PART... the woman (Angie) starts yelling at my friend, telling her that she had already decided that if my friend was to say anything on the day of the wedding that she could go without any flowers (due to the fact that we had a friend pick them up and not notice the mistake on the crosages, this did not happen). This woman then told my friend to "piss off"...I'm not joking... and hung up the phone. UNBELIEVABLE..and SOOOO UNPROFESSIONAL. BOOOOO - you suck. read more

Angie the owner is amazing. She has gone above and beyond to make some of the most amazing floral requests at the last minute. Wednesday is rose Wednesday. Half price roses makes everyone happy! I only get my flowers from Angie, I only deal with Angie directly. If you have issues, request to speak with her and she will take care of you. Much better then bloomex or any other online shop. She makes true master pieces! I recommend everyone give petals on the trail a fair shot! read more
