Oh my goodness! My new favorite pumpkin patch. I used to go to the Brentwood one but this is definitely a new favorite. My boyfriend and I went here on opening day 9/21 this past weekend at around 6pm. The patch itself was so beautiful and there's a food and ice cream stand (reminiscent of the Fair food/ice cream stands). Great place to take pictures and get a perfect pumpkin for fall! We ended our day at the corn maze (night prices are different from day prices as we entered the corn maze at around 7:15pm) and purchased a map just in case. We got out in 45 minutes and got a photo! I faced my fear of walking through a corn maze at dark (no surrounding lights other than the iPhone flashlight) and got an amazing story to tell out of it..

We came specifically for the corn maze but there's lots of other family friendly activities to do. It was very busy on the weekend but there is free parking and free admission. The corn maze was $8 per person and cash only. You can pay an extra $1 for the map but we decided to do it on our own. We made it out in 32 mins! Challenging but not too difficult. To get to the second lookout point, it was a little more confusing as it felt like we kept going in circles. But once you get up there, you'll get a nice view and great photo ops! There's a mini petting zoo with goats, horses, and even a turkey. The pumpkin patch was decently sized and had pumpkins of all sizes. Great place to visit during the season!

My first real pumpkin patch experience!! First stop for my friends and I was the food! They had the classic fair food stalls, so we got all the stops! RECOMMENDATIONS: Strawberry funnel cake, fried oreos, curly fry brick + chili DO NOT RECOMMEND: burger + corn dogs (I've had far better corn dogs at other fairs) Second activity was the corn maze! HELPFUL HINT: do not pay the $1 for the map, I heard from many lost groups that the map was NOT helpful whatsoever. The maze took my group about 50 minutes to find the middle two platforms and then the exit. Make sure to go to the bathroom before cause you might find yourself stuck in there for longer than you'd expect! Lastly we went to the pumpkin patch of course! The pricing of the pumpkin is according to size, but the cashier just does a rough guess at sizing/pricing so it really is up in the air! I got a small/medium pumpkin for about $8!

Came here on Sunday to explore and really enjoyed our time. Firstly, lots of parking available with folks who help guide you to a spot. The patch itself is pretty big. They also have a nice sized corn maze for bigger kids and adults, a small corn maze, ponies, farm animals, games and food. We loved the corn maze and found the perfect pumpkin. Overall a fun time and great value.

    Amazing selection of pumpkins

What an amazing and fun day we had at the pumpkin patch, the highlight was the corn maze, it took us an hour ( maybe more) of going around in what seemed like circles! There was a lot of laughter and running into the same group of family over n over again.. Highly recommend it. Read about all the time and love that went into creating this place.

Farmer Jim is awesome! He makes the best corn mazes every year!! Must do Fall activity!

Had the best time! I truly loved everything about Petaluma Pumpkin Patch! So much to do and the animals!!!...I could have stayed all day/night. i had the pleaser of meeting the owner. Loved his knowledge and friendly personality. The selection of pumpkins and activities is top notch! I would recommend to anyone looking for the ultimate fall/halloween experience. This will be my yearly PP.

Loves the pumpkin patch $0 cost to get in They charge you for pumpkins on a size basis so the smallest are $3 and the largest over $8 . I will say it's obvious pumpkins weren't grown at this location but transplanted but whatevs They also have a food court , a huge corn maze, hay to climb on , a small animal farm, a pony station (it was closed when we were there) and other kid friendly sights. You can use a wheel barrow free of cost to pick your own pumpkins Parking is great All in all a great weekday place for my little one

Come October you've got to hit up this pumpkin patch! So much to do and great for families. Pick your own pumpkin or grab one already plucked. There's a huge corn maze, for an extra dollar you get a map. And once inside, there's two platforms you can climb up to get a full sky view of the maze--and hopefully spy the exit! There's also petting zoos, horsies, and kids can ride pony's around in a circle. And of course, plenty of carnival treats available from kettle corn to funnel cake to corn dogs. All around a great time here! Plenty of parking too. Wear your most comfy, casual shoes, you'll pick up a lot of dust and dirt searching for your pumpkins. Can't wait to come back next year!

Many events available for children. The bouncy houses exceptional. Avoid food, grossly over priced. The curly fries arrived as a block!

Ask the Community - Petaluma Pumpkin Patch And Amazing Corn Maze

Will a 10 year old like it? or is that getting too old

A 10-year old might be on the verge of too old for a pumpkin patch in general. Although there is the corn maze, which you can try out in the late afternoon / early evening, and that would be fun and takes approximately 1 hour to complete. You could… Read more

There are tons of bounce houses, of which the smaller are included in the entrance fee and the larger ones cost $ to participate -- which a punch pass can be purchased for. We went on a Sunday. The price for adults was $7 each, and the price for our 7-year-old was $5. You get a stamp on your hand, but be careful because it easily washes off. I recommend getting stamped on your inner wrist. The food was expensive -- $30 for 3 tacos and 1 drink -- but I suppose that's to be expected at a venue such as this. A platter of Dino chicken nuggets and fries was $10, and the cotton candy was $8. Parking is free. Bathrooms are porta potties and gross, as you can imagine. Staff are friendly. The haunted trail is recommended for kids ages 12+, and I would agree that little kids should not be on this trail. It is more gory than it is haunted. There are several buildings along the trail, and may be 2-3 of the building could be seen as more haunted, but the rest of them were very gory. One was outright bloody (think scenes from Texas Chainsaw Massacre). The punch pass has no expiration date so can be used again at a future visit. The property is really large, so even though there are a lot of people, it doesn't feel extremely crowded even if the parking lot is packed. I would recommend this place for families who have older kids who aren't yet teenagers. And skip the haunted trail if you have a little ones with you.

My daughter who just turn one was so intrigued with the jumpers but unfortunately could not go in unless she was 2. I think they should allow a toddler small section for the babies for family that have older kids and smaller kids to enjoy. She was only really about to see the petting zoo, and be in the corn pit. But kept walking bro the jumpers to admire the kids play. It can wet very hot here during October too especially peak afternoon, which is why we go early. Also expensive, tickets for everything, and then food separately. Hay ride was actually nice, they have set up in the back area you don't see but when the hay ride takes you there it's cool how they incorporated old house home teams for the skeletons.

Peterson's Farm is a small working farm in a hilly rural area just outside of Petaluma. Don't expect a huge parking lot, jumpy houses, sprawling corn mazes and haunted houses. Peterson's is small, intimate, quaint, and low-key. The grounds are very pretty with many trees, barns and fields, etc. However, the patch is rather small and I agree with another reviewer who mentioned the pumpkin selection was pretty slim for early October. They probably have a lot of schools going there to pick up pumpkins during the week. On the grounds you'll find adorable cows, bunnies, ponies, chickens, and geese that you can feed. There are many beehives, a couple apple trees, and a small barn where you can purchase honey and other things like tomatoes and soap (if they have any in stock). The farm is perfect for small children or babies. I wish the areas surrounding the patch were a little more maintained. There are a few dilapidated fences and structures that are laying around in piles and instead of being removed, just have caution tape around them. These "props" did not look good in the background of the photos I was trying to shoot of my toddler picking a pumpkin. Overall this place is really cute and perfect for small children. They have wagons that you can take out to the field to haul your pumpkins back. Luckily, Peterson's doesn't get too crowded on the weekends and there was plenty of parking in their small lot. The pumpkins are reasonably priced according to size, rather than weight. Bring cash because they don't take cards.

This isn't the place to go. If you're afraid of dirt and mud, chickens, honeybees, cows, ponies, or, well... REAL LIFE, like where your food really comes from... Don't come here. Like I said, Peterson's is a real live working farm. The pumpkin patch size was on the smaller side, we got fantastic pictures of my daughter sitting around a bunch of pumpkins in, OH MY GOD, the dirt!!! I was totally stoked to come here and am thrilled that my money has gone directly to helping a family farm thrive. My husband and I laughed at a family that showed up dressed, well, for a stroll in the city... The mother all but had high heels on. Clearly, they were really looking for a place where their spawn could jump in bouncy houses and have a Disney-fied experience of a harvest tradition. They never took the kids out of the Armada and split as soon as they realized that they'd be walking in dirt to peruse the pumpkin patch. Peterson's offers educational tours for children on honey farming, and they grow other seasonal delights in addition to pumpkins - tomatoes, persimmons, dried flowers... I can't wait until my daughter is a bit older to bring her back here, perhaps in the spring, so get another gander at the chickens and cows and ponies (OH MY!!!).
