Huge pumpkin patch with some of the most round medium to large sized pumpkins I've seen that are still on the vine. The pricing is based on size which means most of the pumpkins are at least $10-$15. Some of the pumpkins looked good for picking but they were still on the vine, so I imagine people can only pick from the pre cut ones. They had a decent selection for mini pumpkins and gourds. The mini white pumpkins had some imperfections and started at $4 so I unfortunately decided to pass on them. There are some cute photo ops, and there's an ATM on site. The corn maze is probably one of their most popular attractions but my fiancé and I decided not to do it. There's a children's playground that's extra cost, some turkeys, chickens, lambs and horses in the pens. There are some stands for corn dogs, popcorn and lemonade. Lots of parking. I think what's nice about this pumpkin patch is it's free entry and you pay for the stuff you want to participate in/buy which is nice! read more

Love the big corn maze and the corn kernel box for kids to play in! It's supposedly the biggest corn maze in the US! The corn kernel (non-sand) box was creative and haven't seen anything like that. My baby had fun in it and kept himself occupied for a good half hour or so. The area is spacious and I adore the abundance of pumpkins. Every other year we go somewhere else, and the kids (now 11 and 14) always want to go back to this one. Plusses: the corn maze. There is a fee, but it's truly challenging. We broke up into two groups and raced. It took about half an hour, and that was with teams of two adults and a tween. Pumpkins straight from the vine. I do love tromping around, looking for the best one. They have a lot of classic carving pumpkins ready to pick (or ready to pick out). The sunflowers are very photogenic. The kids enjoyed the slide and bounce houses when they were younger. The corn pit is always full of little kids, and even though we all love a corn pit, we haven't tried it because we didn't want to hog space from the toddlers. Minus: it is very crowded, and we can't bring in our own picnic. It is too close to the highway to feel idyllic or pastoral. Oh my goodness! My new favorite pumpkin patch. I used to go to the Brentwood one but this is definitely a new favorite. My boyfriend and I went here on opening day 9/21 this past weekend at around 6pm. The patch itself was so beautiful and there's a food and ice cream stand (reminiscent of the Fair food/ice cream stands). Great place to take pictures and get a perfect pumpkin for fall! We ended our day at the corn maze (night prices are different from day prices as we entered the corn maze at around 7:15pm) and purchased a map just in case. We got out in 45 minutes and got a photo! We came specifically for the corn maze but there's lots of other family friendly activities to do. It was very busy on the weekend but there is free parking and free admission. The corn maze was $8 per person and cash only. You can pay an extra $1 for the map but we decided to do it on our own. We made it out in 32 mins! Challenging but not too difficult. To get to the second lookout point, it was a little more confusing as it felt like we kept going in circles. But once you get up there, you'll get a nice view and great photo ops! There's a mini petting zoo with goats, horses, and even a turkey. The pumpkin patch was decently sized and had pumpkins of all sizes. Great place to visit during the season! read more

My first real pumpkin patch experience!! First stop for my friends and I was the food! They had the classic fair food stalls, so we got all the stops! RECOMMENDATIONS: Strawberry funnel cake, fried oreos, curly fry brick + chili DO NOT RECOMMEND: burger + corn dogs (I've had far better corn dogs at other fairs) Second activity was the corn maze! HELPFUL HINT: do not pay the $1 for the map, I heard from many lost groups that the map was NOT helpful whatsoever. The maze took my group about 50 minutes to find the middle two platforms and then the exit. We visited over the past weekend and our toddler had a blast! They have a few animals you can view and a mini corn maze. There's a bigger corn maze at an extra cost but since we had our toddler with us we didn't try that one. Our son loved playing in the corn pit. To note, it says that the corn pit is for kids 5 and under but there were much bigger kids playing it in at times. The pumpkin patch still had a good number of pumpkins left but, since it was drizzling, it got quite muddy/wet. Definitely recommend wearing rain boots next time! SLAY PUMPKIN PATCH SLAY! This was my first pumpkin patch experience and I thought it was a jolly fun activity to do during the fall! My family came here on a Friday during 3rd week of October. The parking lot was very bumpy so be prepared for that. I can see this place get busy during the weekend. They have a food area where we enjoyed some of the food. Then we headed to the corn maze, paid for it and got the map. We've always known to get a map because well we're not that crazy. As we were going in, one guy who just came out of the corn maze encouraged us to get one because they were stuck for 40 minutes. I was the designated map holder to make sure not to get lost while my husband and my son tried to figure out the maze. Well I lost my place and we actually kinda got lost lol. That was an experience. The corn box, hay area and animal area (all free) were a bit hit with the kids and also for the adults. We went to the patch to get some pumpkins which was also enjoyable. I brought my 15 year old daughter and her friends here for her birthday. As we entered the corn maze, the girls came across the man who created the maze. He was rudely lecturing the girls and making them feel very uncomfortable when I walked up. He said they had to remain with an adult in the maze. He continued lecturing all of us about staying together. When later I lost the girls in the maze, they ran into the same guy and he kicked them out and I remained lost in the maze for 30 min. I was born and raised in Petaluma, I've been coming to this pumpkin patch since I was born, I've never missed a year (I am 22). This place is one of my favorite parts of the year and of Petaluma. I can honestly say I've never had a bad experience here. The owner is a nice guy who's usually on the premises and I've had the pleasure of speaking to him a few times throughout the years. The corn maze is exceptional, I've never seen another maze that is even close to its equal. The owner cuts the maze by hand and does a different design every year. Driving on the 101 throughout the year, not many things gets me more excited than seeing the corn maze starting to grow. I highly recommend this place to anyone who asks me. read more

My son and his friends who are 16 came here for a birthday. I paid $80 for them to enter. Other people mistakenly scared them thinking they were their friends. My son and friends then ran a couple feet before the extremely rude owner went up to them and made them leave the maze. They were not given a warning. The owner was extremely rude and made them very uncomfortable while lecturing them while they said sorry. Was a terrible waste of money and time. read more

My 16 year old son and his friend were here for his birthday. They got scared by someone who mistake them for their friends. They got scared and then ran for about 5 feet when the owner saw them. The owner then told them they must leave or he'll call the police just for my son running on his birthday. It completely ruined his birthday and was a waste of $80 which we did not get refunded. Drove all the way up from the South Bay on my daughter's birthday for her favorite corn maze. As we entered the maze, her and her friends went a little ahead and my wife & I ran into them a few minutes later being violently & aggressively lectured by an employee about how they were not of age to be unsupervised when we had been right behind them. It's been our annual Fall tradition to come to the Petaluma Pumpkin Patch to do their amazing corn maze. It is one of the largest, if not the largest, corn maze in the Bay Area. It is immensely popular, and it is quite complex and challenging. The average time to complete the maze is about 40 minutes (with a map). Our best time if 21 minutes. If you dare to venture without a map, you might never get out! LOL You can also do the maze at night if you are courageous. In addition to the corn maze, they have slides, farm animals, pony rides, other attractions and of course the pumpkin patch. The location is easy to find as it is right off the freeway, and they have plenty of free parking in the dirt lot. Admission is free but there is a charge for the corn maze. read more

We visited this beautiful pumpkin patch in the middle of October (during Covid!) all the way from Oakland. We arrived 10 minutes before they opened on a Sunday morning and there was already a line of cars to get into the parking lot. Wow! Get there as early as possible. We walked the corn maze, visited the pumpkin patch that had 100s of pumpkins sitting next to their vines, ready to choose from. Balloon artist and pony rides were open. Slide is not. There's a BBQ truck to purchase lunch from, and a little hut that had treats to purchase. Lines were long, but moved quickly. OMG Go to this pumpkin patch! I have a 4 year old, we skipped the corn maze entirely but there was plenty to keep us busy us busy for 2 hours. We drove over from Oakland (1 hr each way with little traffic) and I'd do it again! We arrived around 10:45am and left about 12:30pm and it wasn't too crowded. TIPs: BRING CASH. All the paid activities and pumpkin sale sales are cash only, they do have an ATM but sticking $100 in my pocket made the day much easier (we only spent $39, bounce house, pony ride with photo, and a $4 pumpkin) You can bring your own food and they have tables in the food stand area and away from the food stand area. Bathrooms are clean porta-potties. Ground is broken up dirt, sort of like large gravel. Not particularly good for strollers or wheelchairs but not horrible. Do the activities first and buy your pumpkins last, the pumpkin sale line puts you back in the parking lot (I'm sure so they can keep track of sold/unsold pumpkins) Everyone working there was super friendly and helpful. Details I would have found helpful: Free parking and free admission Free activities included: -lots of photo ops -hay bale pyramid -small maze for age 6 and under -farm animals that you can touch if they are near the fence (cow, 3 calves, horse, 2 goats, 1 sheep, turkey, chickens, all the animals seemed healthy and well cared for, the pens were clean with food, water and shade available, and all the animals had space to choose to be near or away from guests) -giant sandbox filled with dried corn (we avoided this) -pumpkin patch with the rows of vines that grew pumpkins (maybe not the pumpkins that are there now, but it isn't an empty field filled with pumpkins from a pallet). My experience with this pumpkin patch from over the years was great until yesterday , the lady in the orange that was running the jumpies for kids , was extremely rude to parents , also over heard her gossiping with one of the workers about how she treated a family and said she wasn't to rude which I commented in front of her and said no you are very aggressive and rude , you can tell this lady was definitely a Karen and was super nice to white familys and very rude to other family's that weren't white , also she was very loud and obnoxious, I would not recommend this place , and this grandma should stay home and not deal with customer service and really practice it at home stay home Karen , we don't need people like you making Petaluma look bad . read more

Come visit this pumpkin patch 10/10! When we arrived we noticed a glitter tattoo stand and I could not leave without one ($6). There were two female workers at the tattoo stand and they were very friendly. The pumpkin patch had a very large corn maze that took us about 30-45 minutes to finish. Parking is a breeze. We went on a Sunday and arrived 15 minutes after opening, and there were already at least 30 cars parked! This is an impressive venue to visit with children of all ages. I love that there's a mix of free and paid activities to choose from. There are also fun areas for photo opportunities, so you can see your child(ren) grow from year to year. The best part about this pumpkin patch is that it is an ACTUAL pumpkin patch, with the pumpkins spread out in the field next to the vines they grew on. It felt very much like what my mom's garden back home looks like. There were 2-3 food vendors, along with ice cream and home-made jams (Mama G's). I loved that I could get funnel cake here! BEWARE DANGEROUS CHOKING HAZARD !! Customers and parents of young children should be warned of choking hazards in the foods from the food carts. I have 2 issues. First, we brought our 2 year old granddaughter to have some fun and get a pumpkin this past weekend. We smelled the kettle corn and had to have some. While my daughter and her boyfriend got a couple of corn dogs. Mind you the food carts are manned by young kids with absolutely no customer service skills. First issue, when my daughter got their corn dogs she tried to pump the mustard on them however, the mustard squirted all over them with each pump. The mustard was all over their face, shirt, pants and shoes, everywhere . The kids behind the counter laughed at them offering absolutely no help. They told my daughter to keep pumping it even though it continued squirting all over them and their corn dogs. Her new white shirt ruined. The hotdogs were ruined as well. They were soggy and falling apart due to the excessive amount of mustard. The bun fell apart ending up on the ground. My second issue is much more alarming and dangerous. We took the kettle corn home planning to eat after dinner. While eating it my husband pulled out of his mouth this hard thing the size of a nickel that we couldn't identify. Then our granddaughter started choking on something. Thank God we successfully were able to get it out of her. The cause of choking was another hard rock like object just like my husband found. Hers being larger almost the size of a quarter. I keep thanking God that all turned out okay. She was okay but very traumatized by the very scary incident as were my husband and I. We found 2 more rocks in the kettle corn totalling 4. We alarmingly had 4 hard rocks the size ranging from the size of a nickel to a quarter. The next day I brought the remaining popcorn and the rocks we found back to the pumpkin patch. The food cart owner/manager said they were sugar. Maybe, I don't know but they were rock hard and unbreakable. He told me there was nothing he could do to prevent this from happening in the future since this is a common occurrence in kettle corn. What?? Now I've had kettle corn my whole life and I've never seen this or heard of it before. He told me he goes through the popcorn by hand trying to find them before bagging and selling it. Clearly he didn't look good enough since we had 4 in our bag. This was clear negligence! Very very dangerous. How many of these were in others popcorn? There were 4 just in our bag. These rocks are a severe choking hazard to young children and adults for that matter. I fear for others who may experience something similar but with God forbid, much less favorable results. Maybe just get a pumpkin and go on your merry way skipping the food carts and eating at home. Our experience was frightening and could have been deadly. This was my first time coming to this attraction and it's such a fun experience! I was worried from other recent reviewers that it'd be too crowded with Covid, but it wasn't. We came on Halloween around 3 pm and it wasn't too crowded. The place was pretty spaced out with social distancing followed, and signs that said masks were required throughout. Parking was easy, the lot wasn't full so we easily found a spot. Getting in was free but the corn maze was $7. They also had pony rides and a free petting zoo for kids, but we were there for the corn maze. They also had a pretty large pumpkin patch where you could purchase pumpkins and gather them in a wheelbarrow. We were there for the corn maze, which we were told would take 45 minutes and it actually did! You can buy a map for $1, but it doesn't help much, and we didn't use it. They told us when we walked in to stay on the main paths, because a lot of people made their own narrow paths. Definitely adhere to this. Following the narrow paths got us lost. I love that there are 2 platforms where you can look out and see how big the maze is! Overall it was a fun experience and if you're looking for a fun corn maze, I'd recommend this. I'd definitely recommend eating first before you come, however. There was only 1 food stand there and all it had was corn dogs, kettle corn, and funnel cake among other usual fair foods.
