This is still an easy go-to spot but one thing I will say is price creeps each year. I guess that's normal, but I get a 5-6 tree and with the lot stand they label the trees I end up at the 6-7 which puts it into another price point. A little shady, but I guess we all gotta make a buck. They assist with netting, and carrying the tree to your car and if you need help tying it down they'll support you. There are bad for you snacks like funnel cakes. I didn't see kettle corn this year, but I'm sure it was there. Flocked trees, regular trees, small and large options, wreaths, bags for disposal, and some crafty booths to check out. Bigger than before overall, jumpy houses for the kiddos, overall scratched all the itches you want at a lot. It isn't the most seasonally festive experience out there but it does the job just fine and makes it a painless process. read more

Well, what can I say in regards to CRAZY Rudolph? Bloody overpriced. Pricing? Indiscriminately expensive. 4 foot skimpy trees and 6 foot full trees ALL $105. Any larger is $125. Poor business plan. TRULY CRAZY. Just a few minutes down the road is Marks, where I found a glorious, mighty, superior tree double the size for half the price of CRAZY Rudolph's skinny, dilapidated 4 footer. After visiting another Christmas tree lot, and not finding anything remotely acceptable (and the average price was $129!), we decided to check out the lot at the Vets building. Best decision ever! I didn't realize it was veteran owned and operated until we arrived. The guys were so helpful, and when all the best trees were taken (it was Monday morning), they took us around to where they were unpacking new trees. I told them what I was looking for and they found the perfect tree for us, at literally half the price of the other lot. I asked to have it lightly flocked, like you would find in nature, and it's beyond beautiful. . We picked the tree up the next day after the flocking dried and I believe it's the prettiest tree we've ever had. It sparkles with the lights, and the flocking was perfect. Do not pass up this unassuming parking lot Christmas list. The staff is the greatest of all time! Taking time to make sure our kids were enjoying themselves, giving them treats, stickers, etc and turning on the snow machine for them! They even took time to grab our phone and take photos of all of us. Their customer service is top notch and their prices are the best around town. Crazy Rudolph's Christmas Trees are hands down the best value for a Christmas tree north of Golden Gate. This is my forth year taking advantage of these low prices and great value for a Christmas tree considering that buying a tree in general for under $40 is difficult enough but to purchase a 6-7 foot Noble Fir is unheard of. The entire staff at Crazy Rudolph's was extremely helpful and even though they were very busy restocking the lot or flocking the trees they were always willing to stop and help anyone in need. Compared to last year it has become a very festive family oriented event with a coffee bar serving eggnog lattes, face painting, a go-cart track, and even a jumpy house to entertain the children. When my wife told me that she saw a sign that all trees were $30 I did not believe her, however it was absolutely true! We found a GORGEOUS tree and only paid $30! I used to love going out to a tree farm and cutting down my own tree. We always did that when I was a kid and it was so fun. Now, as an adult, I always want a tree for the holidays, but don't care to deal with the whole process. The cutting down and dragging it back to the car has lost it's appeal. Thankfully, there's Crazy Rudolph's. They are located in the Coddingtown parking lot, next to the library. We were in and out in less than 10 minutes, and got the perfect tree. You simply find a person that works there (look for red hats) and point them to the tree you want, and they will wrap it up and help load it. They also do flocking as well, if you like the fake snow covered look. We were hoping to get a 4-5 foot tree, but they were completely sold out, so we got an 8 foot tree, and we LOVE it! It's huge and awesome, and the price was unbeatable compared to other places I had checked out. They have a little play areas for kids, and some fair style food (funnel cakes, corn dogs, etc) for sale if you're hungry. If you want a no fuss, get in and get out tree experience, this is the place to go. read more

It's that time of year again!!! Crazy Rudolph's is better than ever at their new location in the Coddingtown Center parking lot!!! They have an amazing set-up.. With a wonderful staff, a great selection of trees, a fun play area for the kids that includes a "snow" pit, and delicious treats to snack on while picking out a tree and trying to drag the kiddos out of the play area!!! Plus, you can get little rubber duck stocking stuffers and support our local vets at the same time!! We just left with our lovely Christmas tree (Thank you, Tim, for making it just perfect for us!) We have been coming to Crazy Rudolph's for the past few years and will never buy elsewhere! There are some places closer to our home but Crazy Rudolph's has really fresh trees with frequent new deliveries, so no matter when we buy our tree we know it's freshly cut! We also like that they serve hot beverages, and snacks like kettle corn/cotton candy, and this year they even added a kid's area and hot dog stand so you can make a fun little event out of getting your tree! Stopped by again this year, two stars for being SUPER NICE, but all their under-5 foot trees (maybe 8 of them) were really dry and ugly. Bought one for a work event and they charge $25 for a bucket. The other place I go hammers a bucket and wood stabilizers on for $5. Crazy Rudolph's hands you a bucket attached to rebar for you to hammer to the bottom of your tree. read more

So much more than a tree lot! They are locally owned and our family prefers to support small business and keep the money local. Hard working, polite guys there to help with your tree. There are Snacks at the concession stand that smelled so good. A huge Faux snow pay place, battery operated cars to play on, all indoors so rain or shine, it's a great place to have a family outing and grab a tree. And the flocked trees are beautiful! Also, the owner heard about us unexpectedly housing 3 extra kids this holiday season and he hooked us up knowing the extra expense we will endure. Such a wonderful experience. Last year all trees were $30. This year $35, which is not much more except that is only for under 7 ft. All over 7' trees are $45. If you bought a resent groupon, they are only good for trees under 7 feet. The trees were actually mostly under 7 feet if you don't count the tall empty stick that you will chop off. But they count that stick even if it is 18 inches tall. So $45 for under 7 foot trees in effect. A lot of the trees are starting to yellow and most of them are not very pretty. I went to go find a tree for a secret Santa family I'd adopted. My husband bought my mother in law a tree here and a friend had as well so I went with their recommendations. For some reason I didn't really feel like I got the same level of service they did. The first man I asked for help couldn't be bothered and totally brushed me off. Then I received different prices from three different employees. Just...a weird vibe I guess. I went there so happy and excited to find a tree but finally left feeling like it was a chore. I did purchase a tree from them (although I now wish that I hadn't). I also noticed after the tree was put on top of my vehicle that there was some type of netting on everyone else's tree that was being put on their vehicles. I asked my husband when I got home and he told me it was to secure the tree. No one ever mentioned anything about it to me. I have no idea why I received sub-par service here, but I certainly won't be returning next year. Either way, the family enjoyed their tree. The kids were super excited and that's what it was all about so I'm good with that. read more

Got our beautiful 7' noble fir from this lot. Site has an enclosed tent area where they have a jumpy house for the kids,hot chocolate,kettle corn & a wreath making station. There is plenty of staff and everyone is very friendly & polite, I had the opportunity to meet & chat with the owner Gianni. I had mentioned to him that my husband was very picky & wasn't seeing the "right" tree. Gianni took us back to an area where his guys were unloading fresh trees & gave us a look at five new ones right off the truck that had arrived. We chose one & Gianni trimmed,wrapped & even tied the tree to the rack on our van. He also sent our kids home with sticker books & popcorn. Here's a owner with plenty of staff who went out of his way to make sure my families experience was a memorable one. We have gone as a family to get our Christmas tree every year since Crazy Rudolph's started and have been pleased every time. The service is always friendly and prompt, the prices are better than every lot in town with good trees, and the trees themselves are always full, hydrated well, smell great, and hold up well all season. As you can see in my picture, our tree is once again fantastic. We picked it up yesterday and even got a flocked tree for the first time, at least 20-30% less than anyone else.
