Her excuse was that he saw me walking in and she couldn't do it right. NOT!!!! First of all, don't put him in the front of the store where he sees everyone getting in, and second of all, take him to the back and DO THE JOB you were paid for. It took THREE hours, and now I had to make an appointment with someone who knows what they are doing. A lady tried to warn me when I was getting in with the dog but I didn't listen. Go elsewhere, Petco is horrible!! The name of the girl was Lexi, and she should go get some training. She was nice, but needs the feedback, because this is not fair. read more

As the Petco, they do sell the best pee pads so phres living with right now 11 little dogs I use I call them the bedsheets the biggest pads that I believe they make a little bit pricey they could bring the price down some something that you're actually using and then throwing it out but they have been the only pads that I've found in years that works. The best in Petco is the only one that I found that sells them cause I could not find them from PetSmart or Amazon had them of course, but Amazon got them from Petco so I just stick with Petco and do a auto ship. They're always on time. They never fail me and I'm thankful they make one that's this thick and it doesn't drip so thank you So Phresh you might want to help the customers a little bit by bringing your price down. Just had a bad experience in fish department. Asked fish catcher employee(Veronika) for sale tag fish buy3 get 1 free $2.49 fish.Tgey only had 3 left. I asked for replacement fish to be my "4th free" fish which actually was a cheaper fish at only $1.99 but she said no. I asked department manager (Crystal) and she said can't do it as well. Foolish and bad customer service. Ok I overlooked it and went to pay for them plus 2 other fish & fish food. After cashier (Steven) rand up my order I noticed the price was wrong. What should have been around $15 ,I was being charged $25. I told him price was wrong on my 3 fish (of which I didn't get a free 4th according to posted offer).I was being charged $4.99 per fish instead of $2.49. I met Veronika & Crystal at tank. Showed tag on tank. Both said, "Oh we gave you a different type fish. The fish you wanted we are out of & have been out of for weeks". I said weeks? So why then is offer tag on tank offering fish you don't have for weeks? Manager Crystal said "because that's how cooperate wants it," and she can't remove tag thus false advertising to customers. I was very specific to fish catcher Veronika of the offer I wanted. Anyway again foolish & bad Custer service,Manager Crystal said she could put my already bagged up fish back in tanks and not allow me to purchase the fish at the offered advertised price. Now I'm a several times a week customer. They all know me well(especially manager Crystal). I spend about $100 a month in this store. To be treated like that is plain stupid on their part. I will NEVER shop at ANY Petco store or online ever again. I have taken my dog, who is 11, to various Petco locations throughout the US. This is the first time I can recall where I was told that they could not cut his nails because he was a biter. He is a yelper, but not a biter. I was charged for a nail trim because "it's part of the package." I also asked for a sanitary, which was minimal if it was done at all. I looked at other reviews and saw similar comments. The manager didn't seem to care when I called and she was the one that "groomed" him. Maybe she's the one with nerves. No idea. This review is specific to the grooming department. Although all the gals are quite nice, my Cavalier who is going on 11 will NEVER step a paw into the store again! In ALL of her life she has never had a single flea. My poor girl was infested with new born fleas so badly, when I bathed her there was blood going down the drain. When I reached out to the store, after my vet...to assure the medication and timing of the fleas, they continued to give me rhetoric on how they could 'guarantee' that my dog did not get the fleas with them. Even after sharing my facts, timing egg gestation etc....she repeated her same speech. Again...NEVER going to this shop again! read more

Most the people in Palm Coast seem to be pretty happy. Maybe that's why the people in this store are always so happy. Or maybe they just really like their jobs. I don't know but some of the nicest people work at this Petco. They have a great selection. It's a clean store & pet friendly. read more

Tried this store when they opened and found the products needed for my pets and found prices a lil higher than other stores but because of location was comparable. Have used the grooming department with limited success, canceling of appointments without calling to let me know and the disrespectful attitude of the department manager on 12/10/2017 concludes my willingness to shop or have service. Total big box store attitude. Products were always correct on the shelves. Access to items are easy and store was clean during visits. read more

Took my pup here for a bath and nail cut. As soon as I got to the counter the older lady said to me five dogs have bit us today we're not having a good day here. Nevertheless I still check my puppy in for a bath and then informed her that my dog was quite friendly and used to getting her nails trimmed. She told me the job take an hour she called me back 35 minutes later telling me to come back and get my dog she could not continue nail clipping my dog tried to bite her and followed up by saying I need to hurry and get back. I arrive back to the store about 10 minutes later took my pup got in the car went to pick up my toddler from school. I realize that the pup was bleeding out all over the backseat all over the toddler because apparently she had been nipped quite deep. It's my first time visiting this store as well as the grooming department. I would definitely not recommend. No one in the store appears to be happy the clerk will check in my puppy and appear to be quite distressed. And my pup suffered the cost. read more

My dogs hair and spirit was mutilated! The worst grooming experience ever! It took three and a half hours to get back a dog that looked horrendous! Her hair very short and uneven with mats left behind her ears and her nozzle appeared and smelled like it was never washed! Do not bring your dogs there!!!! read more

I have a 5month old Shih Tzu. I took him to petco twice in 5 months. The first time was perfect cute cut, people were nice, great customer service. The groomer took the time to understand what my wishes were. She addressed chewy and petted him, made him feel comfortable. The second time not so good. Hair looked chopped still couldnt see his eyes, I had to make another appointment three weeks later. This time I asked to be given an appointment with the first groomer. Today I showed up, because I said I didnt like the second cut, this lady was not so nice, instead of finding out what I wanted, she insisted she had been his groomer all four times well he hadnt even been there four times, the price went from 15.00 first time fee for puppy understandable, second time 38.00 understandable he was bigger, Today she wanted to charge 54.00, he was just there three weeks ago, still only 5 months old, still weighs the same, regardless of the price change I was still going to get him groomed but Kristen had no intention of trying to understand my desired cut, she never addressed my puppy, never touched him, wasnt even nice to him. She insisted she has done him 4 times. If I went to my hairdresser and said I really didnt like my last cut I would expect her to find out what I would like instead of acting like you get what you get. I love my puppy, he gets treated with kind words and loving treatment. I wouldnt leave him with anyone with that kind of attitude. Instead she states I dont want to groom him. WELL GUESS WHAT I DIDNT WANT YOU TO EITHER KRISTEN. I give a one star I dont know why it posted a 4 read more

We had Rosie's nails clipped and a grinder use on her nails. We are totally dissatisfied with the job done, as her nails are very sharp and I don't think they used the grinder correctly. We plan on bringing her back tomorrow to have them fix it. read more

I live very near Petsmart and used to go there for all my pet needs but they do not sell Solid Gold dog food at all so after going to Petco and purchasing this food I have found that I like Petco much better. The people are always friendly and there is room for you to move around with your cart. Other pet stores are loaded with stuff but it's hard to maneuver. Also, as long as Petco is the only store to sell Solid Gold, I will continue going there. read more
