Our favorite aquarium store. Great selection of saltwater fish, corals and invertebrates at great prices. I was even able to buy a mated pair of Harlequin Shrimp, which are not easy to find. They are extremely helpful and take the time to assist you. Will is amazing and has gone above and beyond to assist us. We don't live close by (about 40 mins away). We don't mind the drive with how well we are taken care of and for the great pricing too. Highly recommend! read more

My experience was great at this particular aquarium store, the young lady and gentle man where very help full but what made this experience more great was they where able to make accommodations to help me transport the corals I bought at the store back to Miami after briefly explaining I wasn't going back right away they where nice enough to provide a cooler with ice that they had from a recent shipment and not to mention they had awesome frags for a veryyyy reasonable price compared to down south. On my next visit I will definitely be stopping by again read more

We had come from a different fish store.. not saying any names but it starts with "P" and ends with "oseidans" where the employee essentially killed a baby sterbai corydoras right in front of us. We ended up with a replacement (matae) for the baby they killed . We came back here and told Will (whom we had purchased a virginia cory from earlier that morning.) what had happened. He rebagged our "bad fish store" cory with pure oxygen (free of charge) and then gave us a free baby panda cory because we were so upset and hes just a good guy in general. definitely turned our day around and all our cories made the two hour trip home and are happy. Amazing place that has a great selection of fresh water live stock. My girlfriend and I experienced horrible service from Poseidons down the street in which an employee killed a baby Sterbi Cory by the way he violently bagged it. We got a replacement adult Cory but came back to The Fish Tank to ask for some oxygen. We were more than willing to pay for it. We had talked to Will that morning and found him again. He listened to the bad experience we had and rebagged the Cory from Poseidons and got a baby Panda Cory for us. He charged us nothing and is a great compassionate guy all around. It turned our day around for the better! We will definitely be back when we are in town again! read more

These were probably the most professional people we've dealt with regarding pets and without a doubt fish and aquariums. Everyone in the shop was extraordinarily helpful, patient and willing to explain the best way to have successful aquariums. From a service standpoint, Chuck was beyond exceptional. He spent over five hours at our House and took his time explaining what needed to occur with each and every tank. He had to make a trip back to the store to get additional supplies which was an extra hour out of his day. He never complained and was pleasant the entire time! Would recommend highly! Brilliant staff, smart, knowledgeable, to the point :-) I was in the store today looking at some fish didn't know for sure if I was going to buy what I spotted a blue lobster I had one of those when I was nine years old and I love them and it's a beautiful creature very rare they are but Richie at the store said that he gets them every once in a while. So to make a long story short there was two groups of children with two mothers and they were large groups one mother had three kids ranging in age 2 to 7 the other mother had four kids ranging in to the 15 so I Richie was you know waiting for me to see if I wanted anything and I looked at him and he looked at me and then I said yeah he's of course you know what it what a gentleman courteous he went with the two families with all the kids and he was explaining a lot of things about pH to them and different I like that store The Fish Tank is the best aquarium store I found since New York City I'm born and reared in New York City and move down here 11 years ago I met Richie about 10 years ago and then will and I forget the other gentleman's name but they there just great people and you'll have go for a visit if you're not gonna buy anything just go look at the store go look at the layout salt water and freshwater eels stingray shark lots of stuff great store :-) read more

Very poor salt water selection. Tiny fish with a terrible markup. And refused to give us 20% "grand opening" discount that was 4 days away, and when we tried to return our purchase (after seeing the 20% off sale sign at the register for the next weekend) they told us we could only have a "store credit" even though we didn't leave the store with the purchase. Steer clear of the Fish Tank for servicing! The most unprofessional outfit I've ever experienced. I called for a service and was told it would be the following week. I said ok. A day before my appointment they called and asked if they could come the next day cuz they had to go get water and didn't want to drive all over town, apparently I wasn't on the way. I said ok. The day of my appt they had a scheduling conflict and the owner Brad asked if he could move me to following Monday. I said ok but needed it to be in the morning because I had to work. He said he would call me back. I got no such call back. Finally thurs (4 days later) I called them and asked what was the deal. They said they had nothing open. I asked why I had not been called since Monday and the owner Brad said he was a tech down cuz his girlfriend was cheating on him. He then gave me another company to call and never fulfilled their appt. You really can't make this stuff up. Steer clear of that drama & unprofessionalism!! read more
