I explained to the groomer that my dog has a collapsing trachea so she can not have a collar around her throat. I was assured that he could groom my dog with a harness and without a collar. Marcio said he had an opening at 1 o'clock. I accepted the appointment and went home to get my dog medicated with anti-anxiety medicine. We returned at 1 o'clock and I handed my healthy but still anxious dog over to Rebecca who said it would cost $55 for the extra time they would spend in grooming her with care. I was told it would take 2-3 hours. I was surprised at this long time, but presumed they were being extra careful. I left and went home to wait for the phone call to pick her up. It came at about 2:15. When I got there at 2:30 Rebecca said it was now $65. I asked to see my Jill. Rebecca replied, when you pay the money to me Marcio will bring her out. I jokingly stated, "Are you holding my dog for ransom?" I quickly paid. Rebecca went into the back a d came out with Marcio holding my Jill, whose tongue was hanging out of her mouth, all blue, and her eyes were bulging. She was in respiratory distress! Marcio told me that I should find another groomer and I quickly grabbed my precious animal to get her emergency treatment. This was totally avoidable and incredibly abusive treatment. If a groomer doesn't understand when a pet is in critical distress, with a BLUE TONGUE, they do not belong in the pet grooming business! They should have called a veterinarian or me at the first sign of distress. I hope someone looks into this business. It was 82 degrees in that shop when my husband and I picked her up. Outrageous!

They were excellent so finding someone new would be hard! Tried a couple places and they were just ok. We found Kim's and made an appointment! We have three little ones. Kim was excellent! They came home just as nice if not better than our past groomer'. Her staff is wonderful and I feel completely confident leaving our babies there! She also staggers the times so they don't have to spend the entire day in a crate!

We tried one other daycare closer to my work prior to Jillian's and had a terrible experience- for the exact same price!!! It is worth it for me to drive a little further just to keep him here. Jillian's has a great space outside, Scott has sent me pictures of my puppy while there to make me feel more comfortable, and he comes home just the perfect mix of tired but without me worrying that he didn't get a chance to rest all day. They group the dogs by side for play groups so I never had to worry that he was going to be trampled by bigger dogs. I had my brother in law pick my puppy up there once when I was stuck at work and Scott even called me to make sure it was OK. I would definitely recommend, especially after our previous bad experience elsewhere!!!

I have never met a groomer like Len who was able to demat the cat completely (I have a super matted long hair Persian cat) without having to give him a lion cut, and finish wash and dry all within 1 hour!!! I can't believe it's only $50 also... In the past, I always get charged $150+ and they take 3 hours - they always end up giving him an ugly lion cut. I even had places (Petco of course) that hurt him when trying to demat - the razor cut into my cat's skin! Len truly BLEW MY MIND!!! I didn't even know this can be so easy and well done given all the poor previous experience and limited grooming options for cats. I am especially appreciative that Jen took the time to hear about my dog's daily life (read: 24/7 running through prickers and digging holes to the other side of the world.) Jen groomed our dog in a way that makes her incredibly easy to keep clean in between appointments. No other groomer has taken the time to do that! I work from home and am elated that I can work in my office while Jen's mobile grooming van is in our driveway.
