I am shocked this company got such a high rating! MAYBE it was just the groomer but need to share my story. This happened more than 10 years ago. The first time I used this company I had a Yorkshire terrier and an American Eskimo. I wanted to try a mobile grooming instead of having them sit in s groomer shop for a whole day to get a groom. It started off great, my American Eskimo came out beautiful. My Yorkie came back happy as he always was. As I petted him after the van left, I saw some brown powder and an inch of his skin was pulled up when I patted him. They obviously cut him bad on his groom but never informed me. I called immediately and I must say they did respond and covered the surgery that He needed to help him recover from his injury. But I will never ever use them again. read more

One of the few places in town that is both mobile and trained in grooming cats. Before I made the appointment, I called the owner and asked quite a few questions about shampoo type, bathing procedures, handling, etc. The owner was very helpful and answered all my questions patiently. I had to make an appointment almost a month out due to their popularity. I originally made the appointment for all my cats, but had to change it at the last minute as two of them were under the weather. They were very understanding about the change and emailed me a confirmation of the new arrival time & estimated time of service. The groomers were right on time and asked me about my cat's experience with groomers, her personality, and exactly what I wanted done (there are multiple options and combinations there-of). They have a van with A/C and electric, so all the mess & fur is contained there, as opposed to performing the grooming in my living room and sending fur flying. For $80 (including tip), my cat was bathed, had her nails trimmed, given a lion cut and had her ears thoroughly cleaned. The groomer said she didn't dry the cat completely because my kitty freaked out from the noise of the dryer. I'm glad the groomer was concerned about not stressing her out instead of following a rote checklist. Afterward, my cat was aloof and obviously pissed at me, but was not hurt or traumatized. The entire procedure took about an hour. (Please be human and offer the groomers a cold drink while they are out there in a metal van.) read more

We had been a customer for over 10 years and were happy for the most part until past 2 years. We finally stopped using them after my 2 dogs were groomed, but with multiple nicks and one of my dogs was unable to use his back legs for 5 days. My dogs are older but we had stated many times that they had a few growths on their bodies, please be careful and they both had bad legs, we said it was okay it they couldn't trim/clip certain spots, we wanted the dogs to not be nicked and do not put too much weight on their back legs. The last time we used their service the groomer finished both dogs in just 1 hour! She had told my father that she wanted to get home before the snow started(this past winter). I would warn anyone from using their service. We had a groomer named Kim for many of the years, she was wonderful but no longer works there. I just took one of my dogs to Dog Gone Gorgeous in Canton last week, they were wonderful and not ONE single nick on my dog(that never happened in 10 years at ZG) read more

First of all, I don't know how many people have tried to find mobile pet service in the East Bridgewater area. But let me tell you, ever sincemI have back down to this area, it is extremely difficult to find ANY ONE to service any of the Bridgewaters or further down. I have had this problem with restaurant delivery, snow plow removal and recently mobile pet grooming.....until recently. After looking extensively on line yesterday and making multiple phone calls to most mobile groomers who who located in Weymouth, Quincy, Marshfield and Rockland. Not ONE of them would service this area. Of course there are plenty on the North Shore but that doesn't help me. I have 2 cats that both need to some extent need professional grooming (especially my Maine Coon) and they both need their nails trimmed periodically. I have taken them individually to Petco, and they do a great job, but I have to take each cat individually which not only stresses the cat out but also myself. That's why I thought a mobile one would be the best. The owner, I believe, called me back after leaving a message yesterday, and we spoke about my situation. She did give me a quote that was more than I could afford right now. I have a fixed income being on SSDI. So, I was very upfront with her and explained ro her that that eas more than I could afford at this time and I had explained my other alternatives. She was very understanding about my position and alternatives and just said to keep her in mind should anything ever change. My point being, is that instead of her coming across as if I couldn't afford it than she didn't want to deal with me, she was very professional and understanding. I have programmed her number into my phone and will definitely keep her in mind for further needs should they arise. I would highly recommend using Zoomin' Groomin' though even though I don't know their service first hand, I am just going on their professionalism!!!! read more

This has to be one of the most INEPT groomers in the state. I had used them once before and had decent results with my Australian Shepard so I figured what could go wrong? Well, alot. First of all the groomer didn't listen to a single word I said when we first met and discussed what I wanted for a cut. I had told her that I wanted it exactly like the last time. To which she replied, "absolutely!" (mind you, she never asked what the last time was like.) she then proceeded to the van to start cutting. When she returned to my front door after it was finished I was horrified to see that she had simply shaved my dog instead of actually grooming and cutting. My dog is an Australian Shepard and is NOT SUPPOSED TO BE SHAVED. for a groomer to not understand this is completely unacceptable. It can cause skin problems and if too short can cause problems with the undercoat. When I called the owner to explain what had happened and to ask for a refund she simply told me there would be no refunds and that the groomer did what she was supposed to do. She told me she had to hang up but would call me back as soon as possible. I never heard from her again. I tried calling her and leaving messages but she never returned my calls. Update, my dog now has a number of skin and hair issues that she never had before this incident. Her hair never grew back the way it was supposed to and she had large patches of missing hair. Bottom line, WORST GROOMER EVER. All I wanted was for her to take responsibility and give me a refund for services not properly rendered. She vigorously denied that her groomer did anything wrong and refused any refund, even partial. Just a side note to this story... There was another review here stating almost the same exact complaint that the owner had removed because she said they shaved the dog because the dog was dirty and unkempt and had snarls and tangles,... That she was neglected. I can promise you that if someone neglects their dog and doesn't even brush them they are never going to spend over $100 to get them groomed "professionally". I can assure you she will try the same thing with this review and try to have it removed. My dog has always been taken care of, groomed, cleaned and we'll maintained ever since we adopted her. This is just an attempt to push any negative reviews away so they look better. Bottom line, WORST GROOMER EVER. RUDE, SELFISH AND UNTRUSTWORTHY. If you care about your dog please do not use this service... There are plenty of other groomers of there that are much much better. read more

I apologize for the lag in time of getting this review posted. I used this service for the first time in July for my father's dog Lady. Lady was rescued from a shelter after living for over 8 years with an elderly woman. Lady does not like to ride in the car and was raised by herself so she's not overly fond of other animals. I have taken her several times to a groomer and was very satisfied, but decided that perhaps a home groomer would be less traumatic. She is a miniature schnauzer with a bit of something else (not sure what) so she is not very big. Lady also has a lot of warts so I'm always checking to be sure she has not picked up any ticks. So glad I read the reviews and decided to call. Deanna was wonderful. She arrived exactly on time and was so good with Lady. I did not realize when I called there would also be other workers at the house so she had to park her vehicle on the street. The only thing I have to say is the vehicle is a bit loud, but what the heck it is daytime. Lady went willingly into the vehicle and seemed to be just fine when she emerged. Lady has a very close cropped cut with a bit of beard as her breed has. Deanna listened to what I requested and really took good care of Lady. Thank you Deanna for also checking for ticks. I will definitely use this service again. Hopefully, Deanna will be available when I call to set up the appointment. read more

Unfortunately, I had a very negative experience last time I requested Zoomin Groomin services (Central Space Coast). When I came to the vehicle, I saw that the conditions were unacceptable. There was still uncleared dog hair strewn all over the place -- on the table, on the floor. I had to ask for the lady to clean up and vacuum. Apparently she was "in a rush" to make it for the appointment. After the grooming, my dog did not smell like shampoo; she smelled unpleasant, as though she had been outside in a playground playing with other dogs all day. It made me doubt that the bath water was even clean. The owner's explanation was that they have a large number of clientele, and that they do not have sufficient time to clean up after each pet. Essentially, it boils down to quantity over quality. Our furry friends deserve better conditions than this; the company promises a clean and safe environment and this promise was not met. I am very disappointed, and I do not think I will request their services again, nor will I recommend them. I would like to first see an improvement in the conditions so that any client can be confident that their pet is receiving proper care. read more

We waited a month to get an appointment, then 2 days before they called twice to change the time. I said,ok I understand that scheduling can be tricky. Then we get a call the day of the appointment and they said one truck was down and we need to change appt. to tomorrow between 2-4. Didn't hear anything all day,appointment window came and went,still nothing. Then finally about 7pm I get a call from the groomer saying she broke down and can't make it. She tells me the owner Cathy will call me to reset the appt. for a time that is asap! Another day goes buy and then finally I get a call from Cathy the owner and she proceeds to tell me I have to wait another month because the schedule is full. I told her that we should be a priority because of the cancellation and she very rudely told me, that we are at the edge of her service area and and that was the best she could do??????? In other words we aren't worth the trip! Not even for 3 dogs! DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME! VERY UNPROFESSIONAL AND RUDE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
