Looking for cat or dog food because you have very finicky pets? Well look no further Pet Supplies plus in Plymouth has an extensive variety of cat and dog food to choose from. I found a cat food here that I never knew existed. Took it home and my cats inhaled it. It was Redford cat food. They don't sell it in the other pet food stores and the food is free of grain which is why a lot of cats gain weight The staff were also pretty helpful. They automatically signed me up for a program to save money every time I visit. Just found out there's a Pet Supples Plus near me as well and look forward to visiting that store as well. My review is 100 % in regard to Grooming services - nothing to do with the store itself. The staff at this location is very friendly and helpful and we have never had issues in the 2 years we have been shopping here. I recently brought my 1-year-old dog into grooming with Korryn Leonard. She normally sees Sarah, but we had to reschedule our appointment with her and the soonest we could get her in was with Korryn whom she has only been scheduled with once before. We were told upon arrival and a consultation that she had some matting in her front chest area and that area would most likely have to be shaved. She assured us that the rest of her hair was in good condition, and she would do her best to even it out to keep her coat semi-long. We received a text that the appointment was finished (Usually her appointments take up to 4 hours but this appointment she was finished in only 2) and when we went to pick her up, she asked us to pay / give gratuity before we were able to see the final product which we thought was strange. She ended up charging us almost $200 including tax which we found absurd because for past appointments we have never paid more than $110 - $130 for a bath and brush (our dog is 30 pounds). We paid and tipped 20 % but we discovered after the fact that she ended up shaving her completely top to bottom and claims she was unable to even it out due to some matting. The haircut itself seemed like a lazy / half-done job and we were not impressed with the final product. We accepted the loss and took our dog home only to notice several scratches and fresh cuts on her body where she must have nicked her during the shaving process. Since leaving the appointment with Korryn, my dog has been in severe discomfort, won't eat or drink water and occasionally begins shaking randomly. Our dog who is normally a very energetic and happy pup seems completely not like herself and almost scared, which makes me question the ordeal this woman put her through. We have consulted with other groomers in the area and will be scheduling her at another salon that has more affordable prices and more experienced workers. I do not recommend booking your appointment with Pet Supplies (Plymouth location) but if you have to please book with Sarah. She is much more tender and patient with our dog. She takes her time with the process and constantly giving us updates via text as she goes. read more

I traveled 90 minutes for this appt and called twice to tell them I was stuck in traffic due to roadwork. I left my number and asked them to call if this was not okay. The person who answered the phone assured me grooming would get the voice message after I asked her to please deliver the message to the groomer. I arrived at exactly 1:15 as I promised for my 1:00 assuming it was ok since no one called me back. She was grooming another dog and did not have another coming in until 3:00. The young woman who said she was a manager came in and said they groom 2 dogs at a time. There is one groomer they grooming 2 dogs at a time? Weird and totally unacceptable. She wasn't even ready for my dog so where was the hold up? The young manager's manner was very disrespectful and completely unhelpful. I have used other locations for years and have found them to be wonderful. I will cut my dogs hair myself before I would ever use this Plymouth location. Oh, I should add that the groomer seemed totally confused and overwhelmed by all of this and said she has only been a groomer for 3 months. That's a game changer for me. She is unsupervised grooming 2 dogs at a time. If I am paying over $50, I want that time devoted to my dog. I do not want him sitting in a crate while another dog is being groomed during the same time slot and I would like an experienced dog groomer not a timid newbie. I would give zero stars if I could. And, charge them for my gas from my wasted 3 hour round trip. read more

I've been exclusively using Pet Supply Plus since they opened in Plymouth for my dog's food and have never had a bad experience! I normally get delivery for my dog food, which is typically same day and free!! When I do go into the store, I'm always greeted by friendly staff who are very knowledgeable about the products they have. At one point my dog's food was recalled, which I wasn't aware of, and the Associate I spoke with knew all about it, the impacted products and explained several other brands that may fit my dog's needs and be safer for him. I was so impressed with the information he had for me and effort he put into making sure I felt comfortable with a new brand of food. Highly recommend! read more

Super great groomer I had a few weeks back for my Golden Doodle. Used to use a place in Pembroke (PW) until our girl left and the new one that took over doesn't listen well to what the customer wants not cut. I will start off by saying the cashiers here have always been helpful and friendly. They get 5 stars. For grooming, I would give 0 stars if possible for a lack of professionalism and courtesy. After waiting 2 weeks for my dog's appointment, I brought him in only to be told they will not groom any dog who takes medication and therefore could not groom him (a 12 pound miniature dachshund). This medication policy was never mentioned when I made the appointment, and it is not listed on the grooming website. When I pointed out the policy was not listed anywhere, the groomer was not apologetic or sympathetic. She rather robotically stated "it's against our policy to work with any dog who takes medication." Knowing it would likely take 2 more weeks to get an appointment anywhere else, I asked if she could at least trim his nails while I was there because they were bothering him. She coldly refused, again without showing any compassion. So disappointing. So many dogs are on various medications. This policy should be mentioned when appointments are being made. read more

Love this store. The staff is always super friendly and helpful. Store is clean with great items. My dog also loves browsing the aisles (as long as he isn't trying to sample/steal a treat ; ) ).
