I took my Maltese here to get groomed today and it was great! I'm typically wary of using large stores for grooming, but every local place I called was either booked solid or not taking new clients. The women here at Petco treated my boy like their own and I'm so glad I used their services. They were very sweet with him, asked me for details and preferences before grooming, and he came out happy & clean. Online booking was easy too. I'll be back!

Aside from all the chaos I love my job, my customers and of course the dogs I have in my Training classes. I have been apart of Petco Non Employee and Employee and I love their satisfaction guarantee plus their product and sales. I have learned so so much through this company and hope to continue learning

Customer service was terrible. My roommates and I were just trying to buy fish and the worker was so rude.

I have been looking for a dog groomer for my elderly dog. I…read morerecently relocated from Arizona and haven't been able to get a response from the few groomers I reached out to. I left a message which stated they would get back to me. Since I hadn't heard from them so I decided to call. The owner was very nice when I spoke to her. We set an appointment and I brought my dog in. I arrived a little early and was let in. Again - the greeting was very warm and friendly. They explained other add-ons. I agreed. The cost would be OVER $100.00. I have never paid that for any grooming in any state I have lived in but, I wanted to make this special for my dog. They mentioned that the grooming I wanted would take 4 hours. When I heard that I thought, "Okay, since it's going to take 4 hours - it's going to be great!" When I returned to pick up dog, he looked fine. He smelled great! But, as often is the case - haircuts need to settle. It was not what I had expected. It is pretty uneven in a many places. There was still some matting around his lips. His belly and privates weren't shaved as they should've been. The hair between his pads was mostly still there. I am a little bummed because I don't see where the $110.00 went. I am not sure if the young lady that groomed him had any professional training - but, that's on me for not asking. I'm guessing she started doing this and showed promise and so is continuing to pursue this as a career. She was truly lovely - but that's great customer service not actually hands-on grooming. My advice to you is simply list what you expect and take the time to check it before you leave. My advice to the owner is just be careful and double check what is done and make sure that there is a standard when it comes to the add-ons. I am leaving the 4-Stars because they truly were friendly and I hope they make the necessary adjustments. Would I recommend them? Of course because I felt safe leaving my dog in their hands, but, I am hoping they address the issues so they can thrive. I wish them success. Have a great day.

His Dog Ziti is there with him everytime I go in anyway He has day care, pet supplies, grooming & training. He also does therapy for older/weakened dogs with Hydro-Therapy and cold laser treatments. Paul also brought in Janet Mannear who is the one who does all the training. She is great! Between the two of them they saved my dog's life. (story below) I was the third person to adopt this dog (he was 10 days from his first birthday when I adopted him) He is currently 86lbs black and brown brindle, Great Dane, Lab, Pit bull. My dog is hyper head strong and just plain strong. When I got him he listened to nothing, no commands were ever taught to him. My hands were constantly bleeding because he pulled that bad when I walked him. My arms were complete bruises, not just a few you could not see skin color from my wrists to above my elbows, because that's what he was taught before me that is just how he played. Jump and grab arm with teeth, and try to wrestle. I also ended up with my wrist sprained, twice. I literally could not put up with it much longer and I had been told by the kennel I adopted him if this didn't work and he came back he would be put down. Most of my friends and family could not understand my devotion to keeping this dog and keeping him alive. I had offers from them to take him back to the shelter if I couldn't handle the hand over. I kept telling them no and I am very glad that that was my decision. I work in the Plains area and when I saw the sign go up for Pawsitive Pup I got very excited. I went in, talked to Paul and explained the above situation. Paul told me that there would be a training class starting the following week and I signed up right then. He also gave me a few things to try with my dog in the mean time to help me out (at no charge, I'm not kidding when I tell you he cares about you and your pets). I have had my dog (Ranger) in here weekly since the doors of Pawsitive Pup opened. Ranger graduated his 6 week Pawsitive Pup Basic Obedience Training last night and I am amazed at his improvement! He sits, comes when called, lays down, stays all on command! (well mostly we are still working on this he listens about 85% of the time now, where before it was 0% of the time) Ranger is so much calmer now and I am extremely happy to say my arms look like arms again! He is a different dog that the one I brought home exactly 2 months ago today. I will be signing him up for the Pawsitive Pup Advanced Training as soon as it starts. I am very excited to continue his training and socialization with Paul Janet and everyone at Pawsitive Pup! I boarded my dog here in June and was absolutely disgusted. When I picked him up he had a deep scratch down his nose. I assumed it was from a run-in with another dog and no big deal so I ignore and take him out to the car. When I go to lift him in he smelled so strongly like cleaning product and was covered with poop on his rear (this has never happened at home, he is a large dog). I go inside to ask for a paper towel or something to clean him up and no one comes out so after standing there for a few minutes I just leave and go put him in my car. He had mass amounts of hair coming off him so I give him a bath as soon as we get home and notice he has an ear infection (hasn't had one since he left the pound) and his paw paws are peeling off and cracking I can't even imagine what would cause this. He used to go into his crate no problem and it took 3 days for him to willingly go into his crate again. When I initially left for vacation and contacted them for an update it took 48+ hours to respond. This isn't just unacceptable it's boarder line animal abuse. I would never, under any circumstances take my dog there again.

Then, they were getting upset that our dog didn't want to get there PetSmart collar on her neck instantly. Obviously any animal is not going to want that after you riled them up. They took 25 mins to even get her back there. So they tell us 3 hours to groom our dog. Okay kind of reasonable she told us it would take the full 3 hours because she is a retriever. We then we say our goodbyes. In the meantime we go and look at new collars and go to walk out as soon as we walk out we get a call. PetSmart. So I'm thinking maybe they needed another proof of vaccination for the dog or something stupid. They tell us we need to pick her up right away because she refused to get into there kennel. EXCUSE ME. KENNEL? If it's supposed to take you the "FULL 3 HOURS" why are we putting her in a kennel. Not only were the workers getting upset she wouldn't want a choking collar on her YOU TRY TO PUT HER IN A KENNEL. I'm in complete disbelief. She is an animal it is completely natural for her not to be in a cage. I'm very disappointed how they treated her and I would not recommend this to anyone else. It is very basic and they don't care for the needs of your pet! I would recommend going to a family owned business where they care for your animals! I would say do not go here for any kind of grooming at all!

I'm so glad we enrolled in Tony's classes at K9 academy because now we have a obedient dog and the confidence to continue with his training throughout the rest of his life. Most people are nervous to bring their beloved pets to trainers for fear of training to be too rough on them, I know we had our concerns when looking into trainers. Tony is very careful and shows you how to properly correct your dog from bad behaviors without hurting them like some of the other extreme methods for dog training. K9 academy charges a fair price for such a great experience, training and confidence you get with training your dog. I loved the fact that if I have questions even outside of class at anytime during the day I can call him for help and he will guide us in the right direction. You can't get that kind of service from any corporate pet store that offers dog training. Tony also never tried to up sell us on any kind of equipment for training or classes that he felt we didn't need. Tony's very passionate about his work and you can really tell his love for dogs when you meet. K9 academy offers so many different class everything from basic obedience to bomb sniffing training so it's easy to find something right for you and pursue your dogs training as high as you'd like. Our puppy is now 8 months old and is an extremely well behaved and gentle dog. Tony will forever train our dogs as we adopt more of them. If I could rate this place any higher than 5 stars I would. Thanks K9 academy.
