Paul Morgan is the owner. He is an awesome guy who really knows dogs, cares about them and their well being and knows how to work with them. His Dog Ziti is there with him everytime I go in anyway He has day care, pet supplies, grooming & training. He also does therapy for older/weakened dogs with Hydro-Therapy and cold laser treatments. Paul also brought in Janet Mannear who is the one who does all the training. She is great! Between the two of them they saved my dog's life. (story below) I was the third person to adopt this dog (he was 10 days from his first birthday when I adopted him) He is currently 86lbs black and brown brindle, Great Dane, Lab, Pit bull. My dog is hyper head strong and just plain strong. When I got him he listened to nothing, no commands were ever taught to him. My hands were constantly bleeding because he pulled that bad when I walked him. My arms were complete bruises, not just a few you could not see skin color from my wrists to above my elbows, because that's what he was taught before me that is just how he played. Jump and grab arm with teeth, and try to wrestle. I also ended up with my wrist sprained, twice. I literally could not put up with it much longer and I had been told by the kennel I adopted him if this didn't work and he came back he would be put down. Most of my friends and family could not understand my devotion to keeping this dog and keeping him alive. I had offers from them to take him back to the shelter if I couldn't handle the hand over. I kept telling them no and I am very glad that that was my decision. I work in the Plains area and when I saw the sign go up for Pawsitive Pup I got very excited. I went in, talked to Paul and explained the above situation. Paul told me that there would be a training class starting the following week and I signed up right then. He also gave me a few things to try with my dog in the mean time to help me out (at no charge, I'm not kidding when I tell you he cares about you and your pets). I have had my dog (Ranger) in here weekly since the doors of Pawsitive Pup opened. Ranger graduated his 6 week Pawsitive Pup Basic Obedience Training last night and I am amazed at his improvement! He sits, comes when called, lays down, stays all on command! (well mostly we are still working on this he listens about 85% of the time now, where before it was 0% of the time) Ranger is so much calmer now and I am extremely happy to say my arms look like arms again! He is a different dog that the one I brought home exactly 2 months ago today. I will be signing him up for the Pawsitive Pup Advanced Training as soon as it starts. I never leave reviews but I wish someone had warned me of this before my dog was subject to a week here so I hope this helps someone else. I boarded my dog here in June and was absolutely disgusted. When I picked him up he had a deep scratch down his nose. I assumed it was from a run-in with another dog and no big deal so I ignore and take him out to the car. When I go to lift him in he smelled so strongly like cleaning product and was covered with poop on his rear (this has never happened at home, he is a large dog). I go inside to ask for a paper towel or something to clean him up and no one comes out so after standing there for a few minutes I just leave and go put him in my car. He had mass amounts of hair coming off him so I give him a bath as soon as we get home and notice he has an ear infection (hasn't had one since he left the pound) and his paw paws are peeling off and cracking I can't even imagine what would cause this. He used to go into his crate no problem and it took 3 days for him to willingly go into his crate again. When I initially left for vacation and contacted them for an update it took 48+ hours to respond. This isn't just unacceptable it's boarder line animal abuse. I would never, under any circumstances take my dog there again. read more

My fiancé and I have been bringing our little yet not so little dog Guinness here for a couple months now and he has learned a lot of obedience and manners since starting him here. The staff is always so welcoming and friendly and the owner and the staff are very knowledgeable and kind when it comes to dogs. You can tell they really love what they do. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone seeking a daycare. Also every morning Guinness is so excited to walk through the doors to the daycare. One girl (younger, overweight, short, and with darker hair), has horrible people and dog skills. She is there 90% of the time and is very antagonistic/always miserable. I absolutely would not trust any dog in her care. I've seen dogs be physically mistreated by her on multiple occasions (hand raised threatening to hit, yelling, jerking their necks so hard with the leash they almost fall and then yelling at them more because of it). Terrible gut feeling every time I needed to hand my nephew's dog over to her. The owner was always nice enough and he does have some pleasant and professional staff, but some of his staff are going to get his business in trouble. Unfortunately, I've seen, been victim of, and heard of multiple people upset that their dogs came home smelling like urine, dehydrated, and apparently that they soak them with water guns in the face to "correct" them?! People were only aware of this from overhearing staff members talking. Many people have said that they target dogs to get them kicked out or, make it so you won't come back. My nephews' dog has come home multiple times soaking wet and I was always told "oh he was in the water bowl". I never thought anything of it, but he never drinks like that especially to the point that he gets soaked all down his chest/legs. Looking back, it was odd how he always "chose to dive into a water bowl" when I was picking him up. I was never told about the use of water guns on them, nor was I ever told of issues that would warrant such a thing. A lot of behind-the-scenes stuff that you'll never be made aware of. I just want people to know the truth when looking for somewhere that truly cares about their pets. It took a while to see the writing on the wall, because you can't see where they are kept for daycare or how they interact with them in that setting. Save yourself and your dog some stress and find a more professional place. read more

Just got back from vacation and picked up my dog. Was home for 20 minutes before I realized she had fleas. My entire body, car, house and dog are all covered in them now. Returned immediately to the store for a flea bath and a refund but the owner said he "just can't do that" for me. He told me "this doesn't happen often." Well then why did it happen now. All he offered me was a 10% off coupon and a can of flea fog. I would not recommend this place no matter what because fleas are hard to get rid of especially from a dog kennel and are always lurking somewhere in here. Even if your dog does have flea protection, if you are boarding the dog, the blanket and toys you leave them with are going to get the fleas and you will take those items home and they will go all over your house. read more

My dogs love going to "school" to play with their doggy friends here! The staff are always friendly and attentive - they are very knowledgeable and answer any questions we have concerning our pups. I am so very impressed! My dog is a wild women when it comes to her nails being trimmed and the groomer today was perfect! I've taken her other places and have had a not so good turn out. Getting her nails trimmed here was quick and painless, took about 3 minutes. Walk ins are always welcome for nails and for only five dollars how can you beat the price? I was also recommended here by friends from work and apparently they also have a pick up grooming service as well that is very reasonable. The owner was very nice and the doggie day care room seemed very well kept and the dogs seemed super happy. I will come continue to come here and tell everyone I know how awesome they are! read more

The staff is great and they treat the pups like their own. Training and grooming is great too. I highly recommend this place.
