Barb and Peter the owners were so welcoming and accommodating. We called last minute for one night and they not only had space for us but they had space for our travel buddies and their rig. The facility is easy in easy out with all pull through spots and accommodates large Class A's. The grounds are gorgeous lush green grass and Barbs beautiful garden. The restrooms and showers are immaculate. Pet friendly and two trash dumpsters. Peter D was so friendly and funny when I arrived it set the tone for an amazing stay. Checked in with Peter upon arrival. Very friendly and accommodating. Since we were traveling with three large dogs, he gave us a site adjacent to the dog run. The run was definitely the biggest and most well kept run we have seen on our travels! Shower/restroom/laundry facilities were very clean and well kept. Large selection of books that we were invited to help ourselves to! Also, nice discount for cash payment for site. Highly recommend this park! read more

We stopped here twice in 10 days on the way to Canada and back. Peter D. runs a tight ship and makes it super easy to drive in after hours to pay and hook up. While the highway & train are close, it wasn't overly loud. Bathroom/showers are super clean & even have soft TP! He even gave us a restaurant coupon. Main Street is cute too. Prices are super reasonable. There is a little garden and dog run area too! I would give it 4.5 stars if I could. Five stars if there were more trees read more

What a fun experience. Peter greeted us with a big smile and even a delicious beverage!! He offered free veggies from his garden and made our check in easy and fun. Emaculent, neat and tidy R.V. park. Peter and Barb make you feel like youre home,,,he had freshly baked Zucchini Bread for us this morning.. Quite country setting, huge dog run, very reasonable, lots on nice grassy areas and Graves flat sites.....50 amp....12 cable channels. Ask Peter about the refurbished 100+ year old barn they had refurbished and made into the office. Such a relaxing stay! You do want to slow down as you turn off exit 23 cause Joe street pops up quickly.....the is fuel and a convenience store on the east side of I 90. We were passing though but wished we could have stayed for several days. read more

We absolutely loved this campground. The owners were friendly and helpful, and handed out dog treats! The place is not large, but rather homey and quiet. Even though it's near the freeway, you really don't hear it. The owners grow a vegetable garden in the middle of the campground, and Barbra gave us some fresh lettuce! How can you not give this RV park a five star. Let's start with Barb making the reservation. Super friendly and makes you feel like family. The park is nice and talk about clean. I'm a clean freak and it far surpassed my expectations. Peter checked is in and what a awesome person and has some super funny jokes. The dog park area is huge and well taken care of and Peter drove up and gave milk bones to our dogs. This is a really nice RV park, and I'm only sorry that I don't live near enough here to come here more often. It is very clean, and very neat. It was laid out correctly. That is, the sewer connections are all in the right place, something that doesn't always happen. The office is very tidy. The laundry and bathrooms are very clean. You really couldn't go wrong to stay here. Oh sure, it doesn't have a swimming pool. Big deal. It is right off the highway, meaning I-90. It is close to town, but the campground itself makes one feel like one is in the country. I can find only nice things to say about this place. read more

Super clean and quiet park. Bathrooms are clean - the whole park is well kept. Seems to cater to the 40 and up crowd. Has a nice dog run for the doggies. The owner, Peter D, works on site is hilarious, friendly, and clearly cares about his customers and the park. We'll be back. read more

We were there for 5 days and were never able to get an internet connection. The explanation from the office was once so many people get on you get an error message. They said they re-boot it every evening at 7pm. Try then. Nope. We never got access. We went to the public library. It was excellent. We never would have gone to the library if it had not been for the fact that we needed Wi-Fi access so I guess that was good. The site we were in was very narrow. So narrow that when the guy next to us pulled in they were one inch from the electrical box and our picnic table. Too close. If you have dogs this is a place to go! The whole east end of the park is a 4 acre off leash area with a fenced in space for dogs that cannot be trusted off leash. It was wonderful to be able to let my dog stretch her legs. They also mowed and access path to some trails just south of the park. This park is very dog friendly which is important to us. Overall the park was very clean. The grounds were well kept. The laundry was spotless. read more

Peter and his wife are wonderful. The bathrooms spotless, the camp is quiet and convenient to Downtown Sheridan and freeway. Sites are a little small and no trees but I would stay here again. Very nice. read more

This place probably deserves 5 stars, but I'm docking simply because I'm basing judgement on "family friendliness". This place is very clean and tidy, has easily accessible slots (I think they are all extra long pull-throughs). The showers / restrooms are exceedingly clean. If I could add a half star, it would be for the garden that Pete's wife allows you to pick from for some super-fresh salad on your trip. There is nothing really for the kids to do, and the wifi's a bit sketchy. That all said, we will totally come back, and it sounds like many others do as well. BTW...Sheridan is an amazing jewel in the middle of a desert! read more

Yes, the owner is a nice guy......at first. He said he could handle a 40' 5th wheel. It barely fit without the pickup. Then he raised hell with me because I parked it wrong, not leaving enough space in front or in back of the rig. ???? He was also upset because I left shortly after unhooking. ???? Nothing more intimidating than a guy beating on your door and yelling at you. The owner is anal beyond what is reasonable. Large campers are definitely not welcome here. read more

My friends an I attempted to stay here last September during hunting season. I said ATTEMPTED because the owner, who seemed as if he had been off his meds for a few weeks, absolutely freaked out when we said we were hunters. Plenty of open spaces in the park, but he refused to allow us in. Kept using the phrase "You f*ing hunters" over and over. Threatened to call the cops on us and to shoot us simply because we were parked on "his" property with guns in our truck (FYI, WE WERE HUNTING!!!!). I could maybe see his point if we were 18 year old kids with alcohol on our breath and loud music blasting from our truck, but I am a 45 year old Emergency Room Nurse and my two hunting partners were 70 year old Orthopedic Surgeons. If you are a hunter, know a hunter, have watched hunting shows on TV, or even if you are simply driving a truck in the fall, DO NOT think about staying here!!! A few miles north in Ranchester, the Lazy R RV Park is AMAZING! extremely accommodating, incredible service, clean and quiet, and across the street from a laundromat, gas station, grocery store, and a very good bar and grill. read more
