Lisa always responded to my emails instantly and she knew what she was doing, in terms of how my daughter should prepare (gather evidence about the ticket as well as her good record and character), how many ways the cop fumbled writing up the ticket, and even which judges are better/worse. She also arranged to move the hearing date so that my daughter didn't have to make a trip to the area during summer break. Although it was probably a slam dunk case, we didn't know that until Lissa looked into things, and she gave us confidence and peace of mind throughout the process. Of course she got the charge dismissed. Yay, Lissa!

I rarely leave negative reviews, but I feel obligated to share my experience so others can make an informed decision. Throughout my interactions with this attorney, I found the level of professionalism to be disappointing. There appeared to be an overwhelming caseload, which often resulted in confusion regarding court dates, meeting times, and case-related communications. Important details were frequently mixed up, creating unnecessary stress and requiring constant follow-up. Communication was another significant concern. Emails were often written in an unprofessional tone, and when mistakes occurred, there was little to no accountability. Instead of acknowledging errors and working collaboratively to resolve them, responsibility was often shifted elsewhere. At the same time, delays from clients or others involved in the case were met with criticism and impatience, creating a frustrating double standard. Perhaps most concerning was the overall lack of confidence this experience inspired. Professionalism, organization, accountability, and respect are qualities clients should expect from legal representation, and unfortunately, those qualities were consistently lacking in my experience. If this review is challenged or dismissed simply because the attorney claims not to recognize the situation or disputes the feedback, that would only reinforce the concern. Clients have a right to share honest experiences, whether positive or negative. This review reflects my genuine experience and opinion based on direct interactions. I would encourage anyone considering representation to carefully evaluate whether this attorney's communication style, organization, and professional conduct align with their expectations before retaining services.

She was absolutely fantastic, walking me through all of the complexities of the purchase. I have used her three times since then for real estate transactions, and she has never left me feeling confused or looked down on. She held my hands through panic (most memorably, the bats we found in my home a week before close and were told we could not legally evict for months!). Cynthia and her support team at the firm have always felt completely in my corner, responsive to my needs and questions, and respectful of me as a client. I would absolutely use them again.

We hired Keira Gibson to represent us in a probate-related real estate purchase. While she is…read moreclearly knowledgeable about real estate law, our experience was frustrating. Communication was reactive rather than proactive, and much of the time we had to chase updates or check the probate court docket ourselves. As first-time buyers, we needed more guidance and reassurance than we received. We also had issues with her paralegal, Stacey, who sent us an extremely rude and dismissive email that turned out to be wrong. This contributed to more preventable delays and costs, and Keira never addressed it with us. Keira's tone was often blunt, dismissive, and at times rude. For example, when my husband (who is an attorney but not a real estate attorney) asked her for her professional estimate based on her experience, she responded: "You're an attorney, you know that the court is unpredictable." That kind of remark was passive-aggressive and unhelpful, and it set the tone for much of our relationship with her. We also repeatedly asked her to communicate with us more proactively, but nothing ever changed. At closing, she asked us to sign two optional items we had opted out of earlier in the process. She said she needed to "check" to make sure we weren't being charged for them in the closing costs. I had already confirmed we weren't, and this is something her office should have caught when reviewing the final numbers. Instead, it created more unnecessary confusion at the table. Keira's style of communication made an already stressful process much harder than it needed to be. Edit: I have gone back and updated my review. After posting this review, the managing partner, Peter Kajko, personally reached out to us. He was kind, heartfelt, and genuinely listened to our concerns. He acknowledged our frustrations, explained the firm's perspective, and took the time to make sure we felt heard. While our experience with Keira was disappointing, we truly appreciated Peter's professionalism and sincerity in addressing the situation

You can rest assured you will be well advised with O'Connor and Ryan, PC!!!…read more My initial contact with lawyers and their ways was Clarence Darrow or rather his nephew Jack. He was solely responsible for my moving to Washington, DC to finish my education. While there I worked for two law firms that shared an office space. When my schooling was complete I relocated to San Francisco where I still live today. For 8 years I worked for O'Melveny and Myer's LLP one of the leading firms In America and the rest of the world. I ran the front desk and was personally responsible for attending to counsel when they arrived and their clients. This included among others Warren Christopher, George Lucas, Condoleezza Rice, Steve Jobs, Supreme Court lawyers, numerous and varied pro bono clients and everyday people like you and me I dealt with all types and learned that competence and experience levels vary widely from one to the next. Recently an urgent matter required counsel and concerned the stability, health and wealth of close family that live in the Worcester County area. Their previous attempts had failed to do so and I told them that I can find you a good lawyer. Second best was NOT an option so this had to be done right. I surveyed the field and settled upon 4 firms and after submitting a brief account electronically overnight I was up at 5:30 am the next morning to follow up by phone. As I was picking up my phone a new e-mail came through. It was from O'Connor and Ryan confirming that my electronic submission had been received and to call them at my earliest convenience with the appropriate contact info. I called them directly and from the moment my call was answered up to the present everyone that I have had contact with there have all conducted their business ina courteous, confident and professional manner. After a couple of quick questions within 5 minutes an arrangement had been made for my family to come into the office 4 hours later for an initial consultation. Although I was not there in person I was given a thorough account of by a family member who was. The counsel Mr. Mysliwicz gave was excellent and I knew that this was indeed not second best. To be brief the advice was so good that it eliminated the need of having to retain them! The common sense wisdom that he brought to the table was crucial. What to focus on, what to expect and what to keep in mind we're so simply and easily conveyed that a matter of the utmost stress and difficulty and been turned into what was surely to be a quick and favorable decision which it was. I could go on at length but not necessary as I only would be repeating what I have already said at the start and that is you will be well advised if you retain O'Connor and Ryan. I cannot thank them enough!!!
