From the moment, I contacted the office, I felt "taken care of." I got an email from Diana Fazinna with required forms to complete that addressed my specific issues. The office manager, Antoinette Taamu, who had fit me in on a cancellation, made me a hot cup of tea as I waited for my appointment time. John Vincent Enverga, the physician's assistant, worked carefully and slowly to remove wax and boric acid build-up, from a recent botched ENT experience. He noted a middle or inner ear infection. The office was state of the art and you could see what John was doing up on the screen. He made me feel comfortable and relaxed even though I was extremely distressed. In consultation with Dr. Yu, he ordered a CT scan that very day, where a number of problems were identified. The doctor set a treatment plan including targeted antibiotics and olive oil to sooth my tender ears. Now, the next morning, I am feeling so much better. I feel the swelling in my ear reducing and I know that I am in good hands and on the mend. Words cannot express how grateful I am that these health care professionals really care and take care of sick patients. I am beyond grateful. Thank you very much.

After going through basic info checking, the phone receptionist asked about 3~4 screening questions that if I have crackling and popping noise on my ear, mucus going to throat, and etc. I answered as best as I can and she says my symptoms are not what they specializes. And she was trying to refer me to another ENT office. I didn't know there are different specialties in ENT. I'm no medical professional and just want to get checked up. She said this place is more specialized in nose and throat, and they won't be able to check my ears. Then take the E off of your name and just say NT. I clearly have a problem on my ear and I'm trying to get checked up by an ENT doctor. I'm not going to waste anymore time to this receptionist. This conversation happened on Friday afternoon and now I have to spend another week to find and see a doctor, while the symptom could get worse. The doctors and other professionals in this place is clearly doing a great job to get this many good reviews and my friend recommending as well. But this reception clearly turning the table upside down. Perhaps you should put that screening questions on your website, new patient section so people don't have to waste so much time, before asking patients info and insurance info.

I need a rhino to fix these issues caused by the implant. Of course insurance won't pay to fix it. I wonder if my nose was purposefully messed up to get me to come back to pay for a rhino down the line. I went back a few times after voicing my concerns, but I was told that "your nose is perfectly straight inside." It's actually not. The root of my problem was never fixed... I still have serious deviation issues in my nose among other problems that were never addressed properly. I also have a hump on one side of my nose from this nasal implant. Ughhh. So frustrating. Also, what they failed to inform me is, during a septoplasty, they remove the septum cartilage (not straightening it). And if you ever need a rhinoplasty, they use your septum cartilage to form your new nose. Well, since my septum has now been removed, they either have to harvest rib cartilage or use cadaver cartilage in a functional rhinoplasty to fix my current issues caused by this surgeon. I am so unsatisfied. Be warned.

My story began with discomfort and hearing loss in my right ear. At first, I went to a doctor who diagnosed me with a middle ear infection and prescribed antibiotics. However, the treatment brought no relief. My condition only worsened -- I continued to experience pressure, discharge, and pain. Later, it turned out that the diagnosis had been incorrect. The real cause was a fungal infection, and in such cases antibiotics not only fail to help, but can actually make the problem worse. Because of this mistake, the disease progressed: the fluid that had built up behind my eardrum eventually developed into a cholesteatoma -- a serious and dangerous condition that can destroy the ear's delicate bone structures and threaten one's health. Almost a month later, when the situation had already become very advanced, I finally came to see Dr. Zuniga. From that moment, everything changed: I met not only a brilliant surgeon, but also a remarkable human being. From the day of the correct diagnosis until the operation, there were many worries and difficult moments, but at every stage Dr. Zuniga showed incredible patience, compassion, and support. I always felt safe and knew I was in the very best hands. The surgery, which I underwent more than six months ago, was a success. Today, I feel wonderful. It was a truly complex procedure, but the result has been nothing short of a gift. Words cannot fully express the depth of my gratitude: it is relief, joy, and the overwhelming feeling of having been given back a full and normal life. In addition to his outstanding professional skills, Dr. Zuniga possesses rare human qualities -- kindness, attentiveness, and genuine care. People like him, who practice medicine at the highest level while also giving so much of their heart, are a true blessing. Meeting Dr. Zuniga has been one of the greatest blessings of my life. On behalf of my whole family, I want to say: we thank God for sending us such a doctor, and we will be forever grateful to Dr. Zuniga for everything he has done. May God bless him and all the physicians who serve their patients with the same devotion and love for their calling.

I was told that I will be charged approx $150 as deductible for office visit and another $115-$150 to do scoping. I have been to many specialists and none of them ever mention a deductible on an office visit. To be clear, my PPO insurance guideline is $10 copay for general doctor and $30 copay for specialists, no deductible involved in consultation/ office visit. I also verified with many agents from my insurance just to make sure this office is In network and has to follow my insurance protocols. I later contacted the office to clarify the charges, only to be met with an unhelpful and rude response from the biller, Jason, who keeps cutting me off with a nasty attitude while I was explaining to him in calm and polite manner. Instead of addressing my concerns professionally, he became defensive and dismissive, which was not only unprofessional but also unethical. It's clear that the office is not following proper insurance billing protocols, and Jason's behavior only made the situation worse. They want to collect $300 upfront just for a consultation. They are trying to rip their patients off. I would strongly advise anyone considering this office to carefully review their billing practices and ensure they are not being charged for services that don't follow insurance guidelines. Integrity and professionalism should be the cornerstone of healthcare, but unfortunately, this office and their staffs, particularly Jason, failed to demonstrate either. It's incredibly unsettling to think that a healthcare professional would engage in unethical behavior, especially when it involves something as critical as medical billing. I strongly advise others to be cautious and to carefully review any charges or claims made by this office. Integrity should always be a priority in healthcare, and unfortunately, this practice does not appear to uphold that standard. I would not recommend this office to anyone. If you value honesty in healthcare, look elsewhere I already canceled my appointment, and I suggest others look for a more transparent and ethical practice. For Jason, you should be aware that all the money that you are trying to steal are not yours to go berserk. Next time think hard before putting on a nasty attitude to a customer. They come to the practice so you can have a job. Now you may deny that you offer to refund me after billed if I overpaid, but first, you did not mention that initially, only after I spoke to my insurance and you acted like you were caught red-handed. Second, that is still wrong. Consultation should NEVER involve a deductible in any insurance. If you are in network, you vowed to follow insurance guideline to have more patients. What your office has been doing is simply a fraud.
