I did a lot of research on newborn photographers before we booked anything prior to the birth of our baby. We decided to go with Lynn Leitch Photography because of the multiple recommendations we received from other mom's on Facebook, the quality of her work, and her reasonable prices. We knew we wanted to purchase the digital photos from the session so that we could print our own photos and this was something Lynn offered that not all photographers do! She kept in constant contact with us leading up to our due date and was quick to answer any and all questions I had. She sent out an online questionnaire ahead of time to learn more about the style of photos we were looking for (including color schemes and any specific poses we wanted to include) in order to prep for our session. She also sent a reminder email the day before (#mombrain is SO real) and a prep guide which gave instructions on how to get the baby ready before the session and what to expect during and after the session as well! The studio is located in her home which is located conveniently in Hilliard. She has dedicated space in her home where the family was able to get ready which included snacks and toys to keep big brother occupied! After the sibling and family photos were taken at the beginning of the session, my husband was able to take my son to a park which was only a few minutes away while Lynn finished shooting our newborn photos as well. Lynn was extremely patient, kind and caring on the day of our session. Our 2 year old son was less than cooperative during the shoot and you never would have known based on how amazing the sibling photos turned out. Even though our baby stayed awake nearly the entire session, we never felt rushed. Lynn took her time to get beautiful shots, and was patient while we took multiple breaks so that I could feed the baby. She was also very understanding and let this very tired momma relax on the couch and get some rest while she focused on the baby! All in all, I am so happy that we went with Lynn and I would highly recommend her if you are looking for a newborn photographer in the Columbus area!

Not enough people RSVP'd for an actual party that night so we all bought our own tickets (adult tickets are $15 Thursdays, $25 other days) and met up there. Street parking is available but watch for signs to make sure you aren't parking somewhere that needs a pass. If you can't parallel park, maybe have someone drive who is comfortable doing it. In total, 10 people showed up including a child in a wheelchair. Our tickets were for an hour but I believe we took about 2 hours; there were maybe 4 other people we saw during that time so the owner didn't rush us out. The business has around a dozen themes and several walls with fun graphics and lights. It was easy to start our way in the back and work towards the front. Or you could start on the left or right and work your way around the U shape. It was a really fun way for us to be silly, take photos, and make good memories.

I have left messages with his assistant for 3 weeks and have sent an email but have yet to get a reply. In my opinion that's a lack of professionalism and poor customer service. Don't risk hiring a crappy photog who may crap all over this extremely expensive day. Jessica was great, and she did a great job. She is a pleasure to be around, and the pictures are top-notch. Courtney and I had a consultation a week prior to the shoot, and it was then she calmed my fears about being next-to-nude in front of the camera and helped me decide on my outfits without breaking the bank. (Turns out I had a lot in my closet already!) Courtney's home studio is the perfect set up for a boudoir shoot, I felt very comfortable.
