A few companies responded. One company was booked until September while another company declined. A third company was able to show up the same day to measure and provide an estimate. MacVane Electrical was the fourth company to reply but was the quickest to provide an estimate after I texted pictures of the circuit boxes as well as an approximate distance. I was hesitant due to lack of online reviews. Phil (Sr.) quickly responded in the same evening with an estimate as well as a commitment to show up the next day to do the work. Phil (Jr) arrived the next day (Tuesday) as promised along with Ray, and both got the work done in about 2 hours. Both are super nice guys. Turns out Phil and his father started the company just 6 months ago, hence there are few to no reviews online. They are friendly, clean, and thoroughly explained the work that needed to be done. Phil Jr was so thorough that after he finished and left, he called the sauna company to verify the type of plug the sauna required. He then came back an hour or so later to replace the receptacle to the correct type. It turned out that we were back at my son's house today doing more work and my daughter-in-law talked to the owner and asked about what we needed done. He agreed that not only could they do the work, but he was available to come over right then to do an estimate. He arrived 10 minutes later, gave me the estimate which I accepted. He then told me they were able to do the work today if we wanted. I of course accepted and there was an electrician in my garage 15 minutes later starting work. The job was professionally done with almost no cleanup needed. We are thrilled with the results, the tech was amazing and the cost was more than reasonable. Now I'm the one recommending this firm. At the time we purchased a yearly service contract with them and that was fine. Last year we moved from CT and had just renewed our service contact. We sold our home very quickly and the new owners were looking elsewhere to service the generator. I contacted L-Train at least 6 times via telephone and e-mail explaining our situation and since their service was no longer required if they would kindly refund a portion of what we paid. I hit a brick wall at that point. No reply whatsoever came from L-Train. So I have now told all my friends and relatives to avoid L-Train Electric totally because of their lack of response to my request. I'm very disappointed in L-Train's lack of response. I feel as though a partial refund was due, but obviously they feel otherwise.
