I love that they take Willie (our elderly basset hound mix) out of the room to do exams. It really is easier on both of us, especially when I have my children in tow as well. And while they do charge for nail trimming and ear cleaning (unlike other vets we've used in the past in other parts of the country), they are reasonably priced. I also love that Dr. Pape always gives me the final say when it comes to making decisions about treatment options/medications/etc. He is quick to educate, but always wants his patients/customers to make the final decision. I appreciate the honesty and integrity that uses in his business. I've seen a few of the other doctors in this office as well and have always been impressed. They've been voted "Best of the Valley" for a reason!

I do not understand the 1-star rating because Birch Bark Vet did not exist back in 2016. I believe that review must be for the vet that previously occupied the same building. Expect wide aisles of space between the crate and chair area and the rings. They scheduled a run through the night before, so we were able to set up chairs (and a crate if we had chosen to) the night before. Food was available. In my young dog trial career this is one of my favorite places to go for a trial. My dog Callie and I will be back!
