This was after the wheel alignment work was completed. I noticed it while they were changing the oil. Perhaps it was this way when the vehicle came in. Either way all it toke was for me to look at the vehicle to it. This probably means that they did not have concern over they way it drove after they finished what they did. I still need a proper wheel alignment!!!! I made it clear to them that Jeep wheel alignment is not trivial and whether they had experience. They insisted that they knew how to do it. I hate these kind of reviews bit I am reminded of the money I spent for nothing everyone I get into my jeep. I am still looking for a competent shop to accurately diagnose my jeep. See my other review of the shop which did the work to fix those issues which are not fixed.

Love this place!…read more They're always helpful and have speedy service. If they need to order parts, they're timely and fast. I've never had to wait too long here. It's convenient to get to and they always have time to check your car. I would highly recommend this place. I've been coming here for years and I would definitely come back here. They're good for oil changes, routine maintenance checks, inspections, etc.

My gauges say "Danger Will Robinson" When I tell you I am in NSP hell traffic? I don't want to be that guy on Waze, "car on the side of the road". Steam is starting to come out of the hood. I zoom on the grass and quickly get off at South Oyster Bay rd and see S&S Auto center. It's 7:30 at night, I'm cold and the gas station attendant says to leave the car. The mechanics will look over the car tomorrow. The next day I get a call, the main engine belt broke. It needs a pulley as well, we'll have it ready today and you can pick it up any time. The price seems a little high for what I was charged. However, they did a great job and got my Jeep operational in one day. Thanks S&S!

Went again this year…read moreand was told that I needed $800 of work, primarily to replace the front passenger side ball joint along with a few other repairs. I had received a similar estimate from another location where I had taken my car for an oil change a few weeks earlier. I got the work done, and within days, the car began pulling hard to the right, so much so that I needed to drive with the wheel at a 45 degree angle to the left just to keep the car driving straight. In a matter of days, the tread on the tire where I had the ball joint replaced was completely gone where it felt like driving on glass. As it turns out, they didn't not provide an alignment after installing the new ball joint which caused the problem (that I was quoted on and told was necessary with a new ball joint by the second location in their estimate only 10 days earlier). I brought the car back to the shop with bill in hand that indicates their work is guaranteed for 90 days. Their mechanic looks at the car, renders it undrivable and tells me that it will be another $2000+ to repair the damage. I asked how this was possible since they literally just passed me for an inspection and inquired about the guarantee, but was told the damage is completely unrelated to the work that was done at the time of inspection and that I would have to pay full price. So I am supposed to believe that after $800 worth of repairs to the front passenger side tire/ball joint, that completely coincidentally I've incurred another two grand in damages that are entirely unrelated to what was allegedly "fixed" only days earlier which has left my car undrivable? What a bunch of con artists. I'm currently looking into taking them to small claims court. Avoid at all costs unless you want to be scammed.

They always do a quality, prompt job, but most importantly they are extremely loyal and always put the customer first. I was stranded one time, so the owner Bob and one of the mechanics came and started my car. They did this in the afternoon, when they are always busy, and did not charge me. Also, Eddie is the main mechanic there. For years he has taken care of my oil changes on short notice, and provided top notch service.
