Jill, Gabby, all the teachers and staff are amazing people running the facility. So friendly and flexible, understanding the needs of the kids and the parents. The location is excellent for NYC commuters, as the 166X bus stop is couple minutes walk away. They are also very generous allowing parents to park their cars in the parking lot for the whole day. The TLE app is a convenient way of staying up to date with daily activities, updates, billing and communication from teacher. Photos of kids daily activities are posted every on the app. TLE has great curriculum to teach kids letters, numbers, colors, shapes, vocabulary. Our daughter was so much ahead and academically prepared for K, thanks to TLE. For different age groups they also have special events like field trips for Pre K and K students, water activities during summer. I would recommend them wholeheartedly to anyone looking for daycare facility.

Future Generation is the cream of the crop when it comes to childcare. They do everything in their power to make sure children are healthy, happy, and safe. Future Generation has been the leading daycare in the area throughout the pandemic by ensuring the strictest guidelines are followed so that our kids are kept safe. As a first-time parent, this has been such a challenging time, but I know that my daughter is not just safe when she's at school, she is also supported and loved by an incredible staff. Future Generation hosts so many fun events for children each week, as well as twice a week local business lunches that you can opt-in to. FG also supplies wipes and diapers which is AMAZING and two less things to think about when you're packing your child's bag for school. I have only had incredible encounters with each staff member and I know that they are continuously improving and training so that they can keep up with state curriculum and requirements to best serve the young learners at the childcare center. I noticed a lot of reviews mention how the space is cramped for children, but we have not witnessed any problem with this - in fact, the space is perfectly suited to then keep such a small teacher-kid ratio and a better view on kids.

Our son always smiles when he sees the teachers and is just the happiest little guy which ABC is definitely to be thankful for. As soon we could pull him and transfer him to another daycare, we did - and he had but one week left at ABC. I'm sad to say that the level of care provided since we annouced our departure during that week has deteriorated even further. He came home dirty, with other kids' clothes, and just now we had received an awful photo showing a substantial bruise on his head. We picked him up right away and we'll never be going back. Avoid this place if you can, as they are unprofessional, with sub-par standards, do not adhere to their own policies - and I would generally say that in my view they only care about (i) the money, and (ii) putting up a reasonable appearance to get you through the door. Avoid at all costs.

They are easily reached, all information timely posted, as well as pictures and updates of her day. Further, the activities, projects, etc. that they do with the kids even start in the toddler room. Just today, I received a picture of my daughter (18 months) sitting for circle time. Amazing! I have two children that are currently in pre-k 4 and pre-k 2. I, proudly, am the definition of a helicopter mom lol. Nevertheless you could imagine how hard it was for me to let go. With that said, the warm loving teachers @ RMS helped me and my babies make the transition into school. Ms. Peggy has an amazing way about her, both my children were weary to start and she handled both introductions incredibly! My daughter took more time to adjust, she was getting herself so worked up that she literally made herself sick. By the 5th class she finally had a great day! Ms. Diane kept me informed about everything daily and was so kind to send me pictures to put my mind at ease! I absolutely love the curriculum at RMS! My son is learning Spanish, and actually retains the information to use it at home. He is always so proud to tell me what his job of the week is, who he worked with, how they dressed "Rosie" the smartboard calendar tool (which is his favorite topic lately). The Montessori program is wonderful at teaching children independence, my kids now ask "Mommy can I set the table? Mommy can I help clean up my toys? OCA presented the best combination of facility, location, care options, and as I quickly came to learn, staff. I am so grateful for the part that OCA plays in our lives and my son's development - now loving his ABCs at 19th months - and the teachers have been noting short of fantastic. I have seen love and hugs and cuddles for him as an infant, fun playtime to help develop his skills as an early walker, and now caring, constructive teaching and high-energy "classes" as an older toddler. It's been a great journey. The staff are attentive, the directors responsive, and the facility is the best I've seen in the area.
