Marshall became very fond of James and his colleagues and it gave us a sense of ease that Marshall was enjoying his training and new work. James even took Marshall home with him and Out into public places like red restaurants and in stores etc. Marshall is now a very confident and well trained service dog accompanying me to many hospitals whilst I undergo hours of treatments, scans and office visits. He came to our house and worked with several of us on training our pit/Rhodesian ridgeback mix, Scrappy-Doo. James gave us the tools we need to continue working with scrappy everyday. Scrappy has come a long way and so have we in the way that we teach him. We are very happy with the training we received and would highly recommend to others.

We adopted our dog from ASPCA recovery center and she had quite a few behavioral issues. She was…read morenippy, barking and jumping a lot which actually scared me since we have little kids. After working with Alex, we realized that her biggest issue was that she was "over-excited". Alex recommended her to be on anxiety medication which we found was VERY helpful and needed. He also explained to us how to monitor her levels of excitement by using commands and waiting for her to calm down before she became jumpy, nippy and barking. We also realized that we needed to use a muzzle when new people came in and around our 2 year old to make sure she's not nippy with them. All this and the commands gave us huge relief. We had 4 sessions with Alex and have had her for 3 months and we feel so much better. We definitely recommend Alex. He knows what he's doing and he's so kind with the dogs.

My Vet recommended Gigi's puppy support group for me and my K9 companion. I checked it out online,…read moreand asked around, everyone recommended it. I called to enroll in the classes, but found that online was the preferred method. I went online and signed up, put in payment info, now what? A few emails later I saw where I needed to watch a couple of videos in order to get into the training. Okay, done.. I waited for instructions as the class time was quickly approaching. Nothing.. training day arrived, I found my way to Gigi's. Pretty impressive facility, multiple buildings, and multiple parking areas. I will admit it was a bit confusing. Luckily someone from the neighboring building came out and explained where to go. We got situated in the class and made it through. Positive reinforcement training is the preferred method, and the tips and information provided by Rebecca is top notch! My only reason for not going 5 stars here is that the signup portion of this experience was lacking a bit in my opinion. I'm old school, I like to speak with someone, get a name and a face. Working strictly online feels cold and impersonal to me. The classes most definitely make up for it as my dog and I do get lots of personal attention during class sessions!
