We did an impromptu date night here on a Friday night. Now listen - I'm not a truck driver. But if I was- this is such an amazing stop for drivers. For travelers general. There is an organized staff who keep everything moving. The location is easy to get in and out of. The variety of snacks is so next level l. But that just the beginning. They have anything you can think of. A pool table. Massage chairs. Showers. A movie theater. Buy a wig or a T-shirt or your favorite ice cream. Fill up your vehicle. This place is really hit or miss. Sometimes you can get truck parking yet some times you can't. They fill up pretty quickly. Georgia doesn't have rest areas or trucks stops throughout the state. Please be mindful of the area for those who aren't familiar with Atlanta. It's not the best parts of town so be aware of your surroundings and the people you speak with. It's across the street from the strip club "Blue flame". You have to pay for parking it's roughly between $25-50 depending on the time of the year. You either have to spend that amount in store(keep your receipts!!!!) or if you fuel they check for a certain amount of gallons pumped tractor & trailer. Has the typical bathrooms/showers. It also has a hair store inside, a barber shop and a few other little shops inside. On the side it's a tattoo shop next to the entrance side. read more

Shop is so slow it's like a joke. Even if you are sitting in the bay, I'd advise you to pop in the customer service office every 15 min and get them moving on responding to your company's emaisl about the repairs. Otherwise, they will let you sit in your truck in the bay, all day long. Once repairs are authorized, continue this fine tradition in the garage, popping in every 15 min and remind them that it shouldn't take 5 hours to change a trailer tire, or that you only have a couple hours left on your clock or whatever you see fit. 2018 Fuel Island cooks much better than main building. Very pleasant also.... Enjoy the banter, long lines for meals, so good. 2017 Shower clean, but no trash can in the room. Water pressure good. Extra towels, depends on who you ask. One attendant, having two towels in hand, tells you, it will be 20 minutes before you can get an extra towel. They are wet. The other attendant grabbed a clean, dry one from a clean shower immediately. We tipped him. Restaurant not as good as it used to be. The girls going off shift did not inform us, we just thought they forgot about us. The afternoon shift coming in, let us know they were our waitresses. I uploaded a pic of what the notice says. Security reiterated to me what the new management desires. No one parking overnight in their lot or sleeping in their vehicle on their lot. Please DO NOT USE THE SERVICE AT THE TA ON DONALD LEE HOLLOWEII PKWY IN ATLANTA!!! If I could give a review and give this TA 0 stars I would. Our driver went here to have a fault code checked and the tech ended up blowing are engine. These people (tech) told us the turbo was bad and still ran a Nox test raising the RPM over 3200 on the engine, blew the turbo and caused engine overspeed on the engine!!! So now we have a truck with a blow engine stuck in Atlanta (we're in Oklahoma) that will have to be hauled home.. Call to report the incident to their Corporate office was given a case report number and was told that someone would call within 24-48 hours. That did happen the site manager called said he do an investigation and let me know when it was completed..called the next day said his part was completed and that we would receive a call from the claim department within 48 hours. That's all we've had is radio silence, the worst part is , is that ALL of this was caught on their bay camera..Our truck driving in the huge puff of smoke from the turbo blowing and the noise from the engine overspeed. I can go on and on about all the great things this TS offers but I will first write about my only gripe. Pay to park, now paying to park any where is bullshit. It's 10dollars for 24 hours. Unless you spend $25 In store 50gallons in fuel or a truck wash. You can easly spend $25 dollars here. Okay, they have a movie theater, tv room, two pool tables, loads of games free games, a decent store and the iorn skillet always delivers. Mind you it's a greasy spoon. Not much heathy on the menu but tasty. They also have a blue beacon and a barber shop in the back along with a large shop and tons of parking. It's a truck stop. A place to park if you show up by 5... Fuel way in the back and a scale... Food in the Iron Skillet if you're hungry and don't have super high expectations... A shower if you are stinky that has clean water but not a crazy amazing shower... Most basic truck stop needs can be found including an overwhelming pee aroma with each breath you take. Ok so being a trucker means stopping at eating as healthy as possible at truck stops! This one tops them all with their delicious soul food menu! Collard greens, mac-n-cheese, corn bread were all on point. The crust of the chicken had a weird hardened texture but the meat was tender. All of the parking spots are reserves, so you have to pay to park. If you want to avoid the $25 parking fee, you can spend $25 or more on fuel, or you spend money in the truck stop. This includes the Iron Skillet, Hair/Nail store inside the truck stop, tattoo shop and the Burger King next door (it is part of the Petro). Breakfast in the annex building is good. The cheese eggs and cheese grits never disappoints. Showers are pretty decent. read more

Pretty good size Petro. A lot of parking. We did reserved, parking close to main store and parking by fuel desk. It is preferred parking, so either get 50 gallons or purchase $20 worth of merchandise/food or just pay the $15 (I think) for parking, first 2 hrs are free. Staff is great. Barber shop, nail salon, arcade area, restaurants. There are a lot of showers, the shower hubby and I shared was pretty gross to be honest, sorry but I'm not exactly keen with pubic hairs in toilet seats. Sink didn't appear to be clean from previous user, showers seem very old. But my rating is based off all around customer service which is very important to me, I appreciate being treated kindly especially after a long day on the road. read more

This is one of the worse Petro stopping centers there is. I have had bad experiences in the past here. But there's only two truck stops around Atlanta. This time there were hair shavings all over the shower sink, wall and on top of the hair drier. I took pictures showed the manager he told the tenant and places me in another shower. It was pretty clean except for the purple plastic for in the sink drain that the cleaning tenant didn't check for. The salad bar wasn't up at 11am like it was suppose to be. The salad bar associate was too distracted with people walking by and the ladies that were trying to make their plates. So I left and proceeded out the door. Now I have asked jokingly about a shuttle to my truck as I am usually parked far away from the truck stop and I get told "NO" or "were not insured to transport truck drivers in our cart" which I'm fine with. But today the discrimination hit hard that if a black guy carrying a bag asked a black security guard for a ride and she says yes. Then I flagged her down and she ignores me as if she couldn't see a 6' 350 lbs man in a bright orange shirt. This was utterly the last straw! read more

It's a truck stop and in typical condition. We've stopped here several times and spent overnight hours for logistics work. There's a male solicitor on a scooter who routinely works the non-TT non-ST parking lot: either he disrespectfully knocks on van doors or approaches me while I'm walking to/from the travel store. Nice flower/plant arrangements in front of the building. Huge parking lot for TT/ST Bobs in the back area behind the store: cyclone fenced topped with both barbed and Constantine wiring. No fencing for hot shots! Adequate parking kit and gas island lighting. No wait at the gas pumps. Typical truck stop items in the store at typically inflated pricing for convenience. Nice laundry room. Salon is located in the professional driver area as well as the showers and game room. I've yet to shower here but my fiancé says they're nice. Laundry machines are clean and well maintained with an area to fold/sort laundry and seating. Workers at the store are okay and I see different ones with each visit . I've seen nicer workers elsewhere. I've already reviewed the attached Iron Skillet restaurant (bad food, good servers) on Yelp. Restroom is clean enough but always has filmy cleaner residue on the doors and counter. I can tell they use NO bleach like other truck stops use. Overall okay place to park (eat at the Burger King, detached next door) with typical roller food/packaged foods. read more
