Helpful tip: Park close to the pump fully INSIDE the dotted white lines. The center lane is so other vehicles can pass through. It's clearly marked. Parking over the white lines OR leaving a vehicle door open while pumping is completely inconsiderate of other customers. Yes they have the best gas prices and the line moves along, but today when I had trouble at the pump and called the attendant for help, he rolled his eyes and casually walked over to see what the issue was. It was when he berated and dismissed me that I couldn't believe I was getting this treatment at my neighborhood Costco! Zero help, 100% bad attitude. Costco usually has the least expensive gas at its gas stations, but this location has probably the worst lines of customers waiting to get to the pumps. There are only two pumps per lane, and, when I was there to get gas today, the lines of cars were moving so slow. I guess I'm a little spoiled because the Costco gas station I go to most often is the one in Brookhaven which has three pumps per lane and cars move through there quicker. Another good thing about Costco Gas, besides the price, is the fact that all of the pumps have longer hoses. This means that customers can use any of the pumps, regardless of which side their gas filler/inlet is on. This Costco gas station is located at Cumberland Mall near the Cobb Cloverleaf (I-75 and I-285 interchange) in northwest Atlanta. It has 16 pumps: 8 lanes with 2 pumps per lane. Costco gas stations are set up so traffic flows in one direction only. This speeds things up. Costco gas stations are purely for refueling. There are no convenience stores, restrooms, or extras like air for your tires or windshield washing supplies. If you want that stuff, go to a more traditional gas station like QuikTrip or RaceTrac. Aside from unidirectional traffic flow, another thing that sets Costco gas stations apart from the competition are long hoses that allow you to fill up your car from any pump regardless of where your gas cap is located. That was a smart design choice by Costco. Since Costco has the best gas prices in the area, the station is almost always busy. However, the wait has never been too bad in my experience. Costco offers only regular and premium gas. No mid-grade. They use Top Tier Detergent Gasoline which is also sold by companies like BP, Citgo, and QT. Costco gas stations aren't open 24/7. It'd be nice if they were. They're open 6am-9pm Monday-Friday, 7am-8pm Saturday, and 7am-7pm Sunday. Visa credit cards are accepted at the pump. Costco gas is one of the top tier gases meaning that it has very little bad stuff in it. In fact Costco includes detergents free of charge and their gas is way cheaper typically $.10-$.15 at least difference from other pumps. Typically when you pull up to Costco the lines are long as it is cheaper they move very fast and the hose stretches to either side of your car. You have to be a member to buy their gas. You swipe their card first then you can swipe your credit card or debit card for means of payment. There is a person who is usually walking around who can help support you if you need. I try to get my gas at Costco because it is better gas as well as it is cheaper. You can't go wrong with quality gas at 10-20 cents per gallon less than at a typical gas station. Plenty of pumps, at least one employee to assist you with any issue, and area is extremely clean. The only drawback is midgrade gas isn't available. It's only regular or premium. Otherwise, great location for Costco members to fill up their vehicle. read more

Any place that you can go to and get quality gas for on average about .15¢ - .20¢ cheaper compared to other gas station is good in my book! Now I run premium in my SUV so it's always more expensive to get gas, but when I am around the general area I ALWAYS stop here to get gas. Now on the weekends this place is packed, and you'll wait in line for a few minutes. But the quality of the gas and the price makes it worth it.
