This is my favorite RaceTrac. There's a new Manager now that's on the I believe the morning to evening shift. I usually see him after 5 o'clock pm. His name is Mr. James. He's been here for awhile now. Mr. James has an great personality not to mention his customer service skills are absolutely the best. His whole team is great. And they seem to respect and get along with each. That's what make a good work crew. I just want to thank Mr. James for being a great manager and also thank his team. Stopped during my time in Atlanta to put gas in the rental. Also needed some sodas for later. My coworker also needed an energy drink. It's a large gas station with plenty of pumps. It also has a large convenience store with plenty of drink and snack options. My coworker and I got the drinks we needed and the gas and quickly left. read more

Its okay but im only here for the 1 drinks because i have the app but every drink that has fizz lik coke,sprite,dr.pepper all have no carbonation or fall flat in seconds and taste more like a watery syrup. This RaceTrac is located right off 285 directly on South Cobb Drive near the Highland Parkway intersection. It is your standard updated RaceTrac that features the upgraded kitchen, coffee stations, self-serve froyo and layout. The interior of the store is usually clean and well stocked, however the exterior doesn't get as much attention as there is usually trash throughout the gas pumps. Additionally, service is always "meh" here, especially at the Kitchen. I brought my nephew in recently and he was asking when more pizza slices were coming out and instead of an answer, he got attitude. Overall, I am a fan of RaceTrac's when in need. The fuel prices are always competitive and shelves always stocked. All in all, solid location especially if you are traveling on 285 and need a pit stop. read more

This RaceTrac is right off of the 285 exit. We came out here after sitting on 285 for about 25 minutes going about 500 feet....I probably could of gotten out and walked here....would of been so much faster. Even though this store is right off the exit and gets heavy use it is spotless. No trash in the parking lot, no oil grease and fully stocked paper towels and window cleaning fluid...this is why we love RaceTrac. Always the best and highest standards...thanks guys. Stopped by on our way home to Birmingham from Atlanta to get some cheaper gas. RaceTrac always seems to be a few cents cheaper than other gas stations nearby. The outside was decent, but the main reason for this review was due to the stellar customer service I received inside from the staff. While the gas was being filled up, I went inside to grab a snack for the two of us. I got some donut holes, but didn't notice that they were past their date. The checkout clerk noticed it and walked to the back and got a fresh batch for me. I never asked and wouldn't have noticed if he hasn't seen it. Thank you very much for great service - it is very appreciated. It definitely makes me want to stop by here again in the future. read more

Your typical RaceTrac. Clean, large stores with wide aisles, large drink areas, an ice cream station and plenty of gas pumps. All done with a smile. The gas pumps are populated enough but never too much to wait in line. read more

I recall RaceTrac being open for 24 hours but this one closes at 11:30 or whenever they want which is funny considering one day they're closed at 11 the next at 12 the next at 10:50. I stay locally. Would love to know the hours here read more

This place is kinda rough and run down. They've got too many gas pumps in too small a space. Cars parked at the convenience store can easily back into a car that is fueling up because it's just too small. I've had several near-misses this way. The convenience store is junky. The windows are smoked dark brown, so I can't see in very well. I'll pay a few cents a gallon more to go someplace easier to get into and out of, and one where I don't fear getting in a fender-bender. To put it into perspective, $0.03 more per gallon x 18 gallons is only 54 cents more! read more

For some reason on Monday July 13th the RaceTrac is closed at 5:56am. No note on the door not letting folks in. You pull up you get out of your car to walk in and the doors are locked. No one inside saying anything to you. Extremely unprofessional. At least have a note. read more

Wow... stay away from this location. Some of the worst customer service standards I've ever seen. I stopped by real quick just to grab some drinks and when I walk in they said I wasn't allowed to use that door. So they made me walk back OUTSIDE in the January cold and enter through other doors. Were they cleaning those entrance floors? Was there an invisible security barrier in that part of the store that would have melted me? Was there any valid reason whatsoever? I'm not sure because they didn't say so. Making an honest customer walk back outside and come in another entrance with no legitimate explanation is some straight bulls**t. It's deplorable and weird, honestly. I downloaded yelp just to post this review. I've worked customer service most of my life and that is literally the absolute worst possible way to go about such a situation. I shouldn't be this upset but this be some janky ass bullshit. That RaceTrac needs to train their employees better. Sure as shit never gonna spend my money there again. There's another gas station nearby, go there instead if you love yourself. None of this is personal but that situation earns .01/5 stars. read more

This Racetrac is not managed well. I purchased a propane tank on July 3rd and nobody knew where the key was to the cage. The manager was so disorganized I could not believe it. After waiting 20 minutes I asked if the was someone he could call to locate the key. He said there was no one to call. They told me to go to another Race Trac with my paid receipt and that should be good. I asked for a refund and they only had one register and made me wait. Way to go Race Trac! While everyone is preparing for 4th of July barbecues, you missed the mark. I will not be back. read more

Also, in a pinch, you make a girl happy with her choice to have a "Gas Station Gastronomy lunch", especially since you offer wheat buns for your Nathan's 100% beef hot dogs. Your staff is always friendly and you THANKFULLY no longer smell like a stinky urinal cake as you did in years past. I'll be stopping inside more often now that you've made that change. The worst station I've ever been to. If I want to pay-at-the-pump, that means I don't want to "see the cashier". I thought the card I swiped wasn't working so I tried another. That one had the same result. The pump prompter said to "see the cashier". Will not ever come back...plus it's the most ridiculous, dangerous parking lot to get in and out of. read more
