There are a number of gas station/ c stores within a 2 mile radius that offer food as there are not many restaurants in the area. This particular store is considerably better than the competition. This place has a full on diner/ restaurant inside the c-store. I've not sampled anything other than breakfast and can't speak on their other offerings. I went in yesterday as I've tried all other places in the area at some point. I was pleasantly surprised that it was clean and well organized. Not like your typical middle of nowhere c-store, gas station, bait shop that has stacked shelves of dusty everything imaginable. The dining area was virtually full around 6-630 this am. Yesterday I ordered the bologna egg and cheese. I received a super thick cut, slightly charred slab of good bologna topped with cheese and real fresh cracked scrambled eggs on a huge homemade biscuit. I went back today and got the pork chop biscuit and it was a relatively thick slice of perfectly fried pork loin. It wasn't over battered paper thin rubber. It was very good. This place is cheaper than your local fast food and the biscuits are better. My 2 day total is around 5 bucks and I got a coffee one of the 2 days. The people were really friendly. Everyone other than me appeared to be a regular and were known by name. I was taken care of promptly and the food was fresh and hot. I went back to back days because I was so impressed by the quality. Next time I'm traveling through the area I will stop here exclusively.

The wait was just a few minutes and we got a burger, tater tots and a chicken sandwich. While they are known for their burgers, I wanted to also give the chicken sandwich a shot. Each came dressed as you would expect (lettuce tomato, mayo, mustard etc) and we happily dove in. The burger was very good and the tots were hot and fresh. The chicken sandwich hit the spot as well and the staff was friendly.

The person who took over repeated everything we said like they were announcing last boarding calls at a train station. We wanted a hot espresso coffee but the machine was O.O.O. (?) huh? These Shady people that are employed to operate this store in the night time hours, close 15 to twenty minutes before they are scheduled to be closed all the time. The operator of the store obviously doesn't care about its impact in the community as a place of trade. Yes, there other places to go, but they may not have a specific item this store carries, or happen to have at that moment. If this store won't stand by its scheduled hours of operation and uphold it, what else is getting done sloppy, down to the product you buy. So maybe it's better off I will trade somewhere else from now on. Do not depend on this store like I did and get let down. Go somewhere else.
