You checkin when you first get there. They provide you with a card to operate the stations. We chose to purchase 50 clay targets which was about $20. They also rent shotguns and sell ammos too. They have different difficulty level courses but we stayed with the beginners. Someone met us at the first one to show us the ropes. Then we were on our own to have fun. That 50 clay targets went pretty quickly though. Looking forward to going back.

We couldn't have been more pleased and happy to have met Karin and Oz and now have taken two of their classes. Oz is such a wonderful instructor and so knowledgeable! His experience in the military and as a SWAT member and lead instructor give him a world of real life experiences to bring to his training. He takes his time with each student to insure they are understanding that particular drill and that we can achieve success with it. He is also very personable so for even the most novice student won't feel overwhelmed or nervous. So it was time for the next step, and take the Defensive Handgun class. Boy was this a step up in difficulty and it was a blast. Things we practiced: -shooting around obstacles - shooting from knees -shooting while laying on our back - shooting one handed -reloading one handed - practice shooting on the move - stamina/speed/endurance/awareness Just like the first time, he's great at explaining the why behind something. I learn best when I understand the logic and the habits build throughout the course, adding a different wrinkle each time and progressing into quite an intense course to run through by the end. I'll be back again with another update after I take the carbine class. Dude is straight up badass.

The instructors are experienced and professional, with no "attitude", and the quality of instruction is the best. You learn solid technique and intense focus, with highly-personal instruction. Instructors watch every student and are constantly providing advice and encouragement. It seemed like I was learning something every couple of minutes. After the range drills, one of the instructors gave a lesson on weapons care and cleaning. Because the Real World Firearms Training staff includes law enforcement and military veterans, they were able to share a practical perspective to make the concepts real. Many people continue to the next level of their training with Real World Firearms Training and I can see why.
