These guys offer archery classes. The beginners class was great. I had never even held a bow & arrow before. Caleb was patient in explaining and a very good coach. It was busy because it was a pretty full class when I went. I only went once when my friend came out from SoCal but I would definitely go again. Caleb gave me verbal corrections as I was standing there shooting and it worked. I mean, I didn't hit the bullseye or anything, but I got closer to it. it's a whole lot of things to remember when your shooting. Phew. The facility is clean. The staff is friendly. The class is informative. I paid $30ish for two beginners to go. Maybe one day I'll make it to the advanced classes. PS. I recently had a family member come to this place and what he told me was so shocking. When he arrived to the store, he greeted all the employees, including the owner who had her dog there and they didn't even acknowledge him. Once he got what he needed he checked out and again he said "hi, how are you?" The cashier didn't even acknowledge him and checked him out. He had questions about his product but with how he was treated he didn't even bother to ask. He says there was so much tension and felt like they didn't want him there. What type of customer service is this? Did your employees think he couldn't afford anything ? He is a blue collar worker but why would've that matter, you should have still treated him fair, with respect and welcomed. He said that he felt like he was judged due to the color of his skin and was discriminated against. But when there was a white person in your store, you guys clearly were acknowledging that person. Rhonda (the owner) has been in business and archery a long time and it shows. The staff is super knowledgeable. Along with private lessons, there are also kids and adult classes every Saturday. If a class isn't for you, anyone can come in and shoot during open lane time. Almost always there is someone from the Corner Family shooting as well and they will help guide you, answer questions for you, etc. My family and have never once felt unwelcome. I can give a long drawn out testimonial about my family's Archery journey through multiple states but none of that really matters. The facts are archery is easy to try, hard to learn and extremely difficult to master. And Corner Archery has all levels of archers and coaches to help you at any level, any weekday there are any where from 2 to 8 USA Archery coaches (who have completed their safe sport training) walking the lanes, helping out in the shop, giving free advice, or conducting a private lesson. None of that would be here without Rhonda the owner and leader of Corner Archery. She and her amazing staff who comprise of U.S. Armed Forces veterans, young archers who are learning to be responsible adults and bow techs who most of which have full time jobs before they come in and bow tech at there full time passion. Also for those of us blue collar workers who don't have the money to buy brand new equipment, Corner Archery has a previously owned rack where you can find any type of bow that can fit your budget, or maybe you want a new bow but upfront costs is to great, Corner Archery does layaway plans as well. I have seen all creeds and classes of archers shooting next to each other at Corner Archery. So in conclusion Archery is a meritocracy, you get out of it what you put into it. These were the nicest people. I always wanted to shoot a bow and arrow since middle school and after more than a decade that dream finally came true. The workers were very informative and assisted me; they gave me pointers to helped me until I was able to shoot my first shot. Although I miss a couple, I was able to hit my targets before we left. Archery was a lot of fun but it was more challenging than I thought. Overall, great experience and very nice people. Come support these warm hearted neighbors I'll definitely be back. Very odd experience... they had us wait 15-20 minutes so they could "finish what they were doing." I heard them explain to a class they had going on... not literally, but more or less "the government requires we have everyone wear a mask, but you don't have to, just don't report us and get us in trouble..." Spent $140 or so, and would have spent more going forward, but they seemed so condescending that we were not experienced bow hunters...so disappointing... we went there to support local business... then drove 15 minutes down the road to the giant Cabella's where the US veteran archery specialist was so kind and generous to us.... how ironic. read more

This place was recommended to me by a friend to get a repair done a while back. It was for my cams on my bow, keep in mind the bow was given to me by a buddy and he took it to this same place where they said they could fix it fora low price and get the parts ordered right then and there, he never went through with it and ended up giving me the bow. I took it to the same place to get it fixed up and what not. well it was a different story with me, they had told me they couldn't do repairs for my bow and couldn't help me. normally i wouldn't be upset by this, but the moment i walked in i felt unwelcomed. everyone kind of turned a cold shoulder to me and didn't really help out with any questions i had. A family walked in and they were immediately helped and attitude towards them was 100 percent better than it was towards me. What sucks about the whole situation is my buddy who gave me the bow who they were wanting to help is white, and so was the family that had walked in. i'm a different color and they really did just ignore me. i wasn't gonna make this post but i seen someone else say something similar and figured well maybe i should get the word out of your anything other than white they won't like. read more

This is my first time leaving a review somewhere, but the customer service here from a particular employee is atrocious and felt it deserved a review. I brought my bow in that I haven't shot in quite some time to get new strings and get some arrows re fletched/wrapped and the older gentleman working their was rude to me from the second I walked in, as he was asking me what I wanted done he would get upset about me saying even a word and I ended up confronting him about his behavior and asked him why he was treating me with no respect as a customer when the whole time I was kind and respectful just trying to get a service done on my bow. Ended up getting the bow setup and when I went to pick it up was greeted by another rude remark when he asked me for an arrow to set my peep he looked at me like an idiot when I mentioned they had all my arrow's there since I was getting them re fletched and made a face to the other tech as if I was stupid for saying that? Oh and not to mention received the completely wrong color strings then what I asked for after all his complaining. The lady owner seems to not really care about customer service as she saw how he was acting and didn't even blink an eye to it. And it was not just me I saw the way he was treating another customer with a pissed off attitude. if you have no customer service don't have a job where you have to talk to people and be nice! however the bow strings seem to be working good thus far and was able to test it out on their 20 yard lanes. In all I would recommend buying or getting any service done else where to avoid the headache. read more

I just started my Archery journey with my boyfriend. We went to a few shops, and Corner Archery was by far the most welcoming. The entire staff is very knowledgeable and they carry tons of product; Hoyt, Mathews, HSE and from what I understand they will service the bow for you as well. If you are looking to replace an old sight or get a new bow, this is your shop. They also offer lessons which are priced extremely reasonably and include equipment rental and lane usage. We take our lessons with Dave who is professional and patient, I highly recommend him if you are looking to learn. The range does get busy some nights, but for the most part it's not so bad. This is the place to be if you shoot a bow. Especially true if its a recurve you shoot. Everyone here, staff, coaches, staff shooters are extremely helpful and happy to answer any questions you have. Don't waste time going to the other hunting shops to ask about recurves, they will tell you the wrong answers and put compound parts on your recurves. Its not fun and its always a waste of money. Come here and Rhonda and her team of staff and coaches will do everything for you. From ordering a bow, recommending options, listening to your inputs, to following up with you with updates on expected bow arrivals. When the bow and parts arrive, come in for about 1 and 1/2 hours for them to set it up for you. Every little detail is looked into, alignment of your plunger/sights/arrow rest/nocking point/ draw length. I have been to several other places to try and get a recurve put together but, its very disheartening when you staff is not as current or not as informed about the types of risers and limbs as yourself. When you come here, you will not have such problems. Oh, don't get me wrong about this being a recurve place. Far from it, a lot of hunters and a lot of compound shooters come here to get their bows tuned, arrows, accessories. They help compound shooters adjust and tune their bow settings, recommend the right kind of arrows for them, help them figure out why their arrows curve a certain way, set them up with different kinds of compound targets for their practices. Oh did i mention accessories. They have everything you need....................everything. if they don't have it in stock, u can be sure they can order it for you. I have seen people here with their 4th or 5th bow, and they will talk fondly about their first bow which they had gotten here too. Its been a great year and to be honest I really cant find the right words to describe Corner Archery. In the past year I have seen the owner / coach, Rhonda, transform my kids into phenomenal archers. Since joining the program over a year ago my kids have excelled in school, gained additional confidence and personal strength, and have a new focus and drive that is incredible. We have made countless new friends and contacts as well as found a new family hobby! The Saturday JOAD program for the kids is first rate with Olympic coaching staff helping develop the kids every step of the way. Due to the program my kids have participated in countless archery competitions and have come home with plaques, trophies, and medals, showing that what they have learned, has developed their skills. The staff is very friendly and outgoing and willing to spend the extra time and give sound advice on purchases and equipment selection. It is my true belief that although they are in business to make money they also will steer customers in the right direction so money is not wasted! Sorry.I have to totally disagree with the reviews. I called the phone, and asked do they stock "field points for wooden arrows" , they weren't sure! I figured I would stop by, and check them out. There was one guy,...and one guy only working there. I waited there about 20 plus minutes. All this time, there are 2 dogs roaming around, sniffing the customers. If you like really high priced equipment, (1 bow cost $1000) then this is the place for you! After 20 minutes of walking around, watching the one guy run all over the place, I walk out!. Well I had my first archery lesson and it went very good. The instructors where very knowledgeable and experienced. They made me feel very welcomed and safe for my first visit. Very disappointed in corner archery service, brought a bow in to be set up and after taking it back twice and buying new strings and cables it's still did not shoot straight. Took it to a friend and he found out that nothing was set up properly, the knock was too high the rest was off the Peepsight was at the wrong level very poor workmanship on corner archery part. read more
